Out of three companies that came for quotes Castillo was the only company that returned with a quote...and a very reasonable quote. Part of the work was to repair a rotted section of siding. Castillo was honest and straightforward about making us aware that until they pulled all the boards back and started the repair that they couldn't confirm the amount of rot and damage, so the quote could change. Once we signed the contract for the work they promptly got the work underway. The workers were extremely courteous. They took great care to cover and protect the furnishings. They cleaned up after each day. The final work on all the siding, sheetrock repair and door replacement was fantastic. Alfonso runs a top notch business and top notch crew. I would highly recommend them and we will use them again.

I just purchased my home just over a year ago and I was having a major foundation issue. I had everything from cracks/separations in the wall and windows to doors that would not open/close/unlock, my house even leaving to one side with major cracks in my bricks and mortar. Additionally, I have tile floors and I was seeing cracks in the tile and in one place my floor separated and dropped about 2-3 inches. Needless to say I panicked. Mike and Dave came in and explain why I was seeing the issues I was having. They checked my entire home to see if the issues were isolated to the side with the issues or if it was the entire home. It was determined that it was one side. They provide me an estimate within a day or two. I waited almost 3 weeks before I decided to go with Al Sanchez as I had about 5-6 other companies come look at my home. I have a super busy schedule and Mike and Dave were super accommodating. They were understanding of the many requests and inquiries I made about their business and the process. Mario and Mike spent time with me inside of my home explaining what repairs would need to be done on the inside to repair my walls and cracked floor. I am also a recent grad and as we all know recent grads don't have much disposable income so it was important that I got a good company at a good price. I believe I got more value than what I would have gotten with any other company. Their prices were reasonable, the job was done timely and thoroughly, and they walked me through each step of the process so I could see that the work was being completed properly. They warranty their work and the warranty is transferable. Although, I dont foresee using it I am glad to have it available. HIRE THIS MAN. Gus saved my family from some serious potential health issues! I called him out…read morefor what was supposed to be a small job, but it quickly turned into a huge job after we found what was under neath our floors.... After reaching out to a few contractors, Gus was the only one who responded.... and FAST! We moved into a new house in December. The previous owners did A LOT of renovations. Unfortunately, some of the renovations were done poorly. I noticed in the dining room and living room the newly installed laminate floors (from previous owner) felt uneven and had a little too much bounce in them. I didnt think much about it until my newborn was delivered and I was on parental leave. Thats when I decided to call Gus to come check it out. Before lifting the floors we thought it would be a few hour job. Add some self leveler and reinstall floors. If only it was that easy. After removing floors...we immediately saw plastic under the new laminate floors...and that plastic was covering OLD laminate floors. Once we cut the plastic, we saw the disaster. ROT AND MOLD. Luckily it was isolated to just that room. So he killed all the mold and mildew by meticulously cleaning. Then he ripped up the entire wood floor that was glued down to the concrete slab. He filled all the cracks in the slab, and cleaned and scraped all glue. The next day he laid down plastic over concrete slab and began installing new floors again with some help. After laying floors, he fixed up the baseboards, installed new quarter round and new thresholds. After everything's was installed, a nice new coat of paint and he was on his way! I would recommend Gus for any job small or big. He seems very knowledgeable in all areas of home construction... as I found out as I annoyingly picked his brain out of curiosity. I have him coming out for a gutter issue very soon.
