The short story: -They underbid my job and per several other…read morereputable companies and arborists I personally know they could not have performed the work safely at the price quoted. -They advised me to perform services that were later determined unnecessary by several other tree contractors. -They became non-communicative and ended up missing the "safe window" of time to trim the trees based upon the outdoor temperature. -When questioned about the timing of the tree work (oaks can't be trimmed when temps are consistently above freezing) they got combative and condescending. The DNR website later confirmed they were incorrect. In general, top to bottom, their service was horrible. Full of excuses and always very willing to berate me if they were questioned, even when they were wrong. I wouldn't hire them and you shouldn't either.

I am a first-time homeowner so I had some worries going in, and had never had any project done like this. I have a particular tree of concern with big branches that overhang my house, and it really needed some attention. John was very friendly and helpful in figuring out what I was looking to do. He discussed options and helped figure out the best, affordable solution. There are also loan options for people, like me, who maybe need that. John said that he'd worked on getting those options sorted and I appreciate that effort because it really wasn't too bad finding something that works for me. Some options have no interest if paid in a certain timeframe and that is great and doable! The cost was another worry of mine with it. On top of that, they went above and beyond in their work! They even left us firewood stacked up next to the outdoor fireplace and more.
