It was a 2 day job because we had 40' trees that hadn't been trimmed in years. I'm so happy that I no longer have to worry about the trees falling over during a hurricane. The asphalt in front of our house was buckling up, and the potholes were getting larger and larger with each passing month. The streets in our development are owned by the HOA (not the city), and the HOA holds homeowners responsible for all tree damage to common areas (sidewalks, etc), so it was up to me to get the problem fixed. Every asphalt company I contacted didn't want the job -- they like to replace entire parking lots, not repair small portions of a street -- so I had struck out several times before finding this company on Google. I am so [darn] glad I did. ;-) The company owner and 2-3 other workers trenched out the roots adjoining the street, refilled the resulting gap, then dug out and replaced the damaged asphalt. I've attached before/after pictures to this review, but I couldn't be happier with the results. Elmar was the first to come out, that same day as I posted my request, he seemed very knowledgeable and fair so I agreed to go with him. He and his crew was able to do the job today, just four days after my request. I could not be happier with the job they did. Every branch on the mahogany and oak trees were roped off, cut and lowered to the ground. This procedure is time consuming but very important to me as I have a fully landscaped backyard and didn't want any of it damaged.
