I guess this company doesn't need the money. I called for a quote to have a couple trees cut down and hauled away. Called around September of 2022 and agreed on a day for them to come for a quote. Someone showed up unannounced a day early for the quote, sounds like a little control issue there. Showed him what I wanted and he wrote a quote on the spot. He said they could do it by late October or early November. Told him thanks and that I'd get back to him after a while after I talked to my wife. Sent him an email after a week to tell him to go ahead and get me scheduled asap. Nobody ever got back to me. Emailed again a few weeks later to ask when are they coming. Never responded back again. I called a couple weeks later and spoke to Carl. He said "yeah, we got your emails but we'll let you know when we put you in the schedule because the snow and bad weather will determine when we can do it. We have you on the schedule". Huh, we hadn't had any bad weather, snow or anything and even had great warm weather up until after Christmas. We'll here we are in April of 2023 and nobody ever got back to me to do the job, no call, no email... nothing. Top notch crew, amazing workmanship, and beyond capable. I had these guys come in and remove about 40 Pines that were along my drive and closer than I'd like to my home. These were the sort of Pines that required careful and precise work and a good deal of climbing and detailed hand work to them down safely. These guys were on-time, every day, did zero damage to my surrounding property, lawn, etc, and managed to remove 40+ pines ranging in size from 24" to 48" in diameter. I spoke with Carl regarding having a large oak tree removed in my back yard. He came out the day he said he would and immediately he told me that this was his busiest part of the season and if I wanted it done I should have it done in January. Not only that he mentioned quote: " I wouldn't be concerned about the oak, but I would remove the pine tree" which is healthy and straight as well as far away from the home. He gave me a verbal quote right away... $8K to remove the oak, and then he mentioned he's take the pine as well as another small pine on my side yard. I asked him how much just for the oak,,, and again he said " $8K !!!! " he also told me if I wait until January it would ONLY cost me $5700. This old man was basically out of his mind when it came to pricing and he did not care about what I wanted done,,, Now last time I checked, when you hire someone to do a job, they work for you,,, correct? This guy was trying to tell me what he planned to do and at a ridiculous price. I have already received two other quotes for less than 1/3rd of his quote.
