I highly recommend Atkinson Landscaping, without any reservation…read more Atkinson Landscaping, has a wonderful team, led by Matt. I have employed Atkinson Landscaping, to mow and maintain my yard on a weekly basis, for many years, and have been completely satisfied with the work provided, and the polite and professional demeanor of their entire staff. Their prices are fair, they are always willing to adjust their time and work schedule to fit the changing requirements of the job, and manage to provide service in an expedient and unobtrusive manner. I ended up needing to expand my requirements of Matt and the Atkinson Landscaping team, and again was provided with quick quotes, and fast turn around time to complete the jobs. I also use Atkinson Landscaping to prune my rose garden, and trees, they do my weeding, and I was even able to hire them to shovel snow! Atkinson Landscaping is always here when they say they are going to be, always clean up, and always do a fabulous job. It is a rarity to find a decent, honest, flexible, company/contractors with quality workmanship, but Atkinson Landscaping is that rare gem.

Although they were fully booked Dave agreed to come out and see what I needed to have completed. I had 2 yards of soil that needed to be spread, some shrubs that were to be removed and shrubs that needed trimming. I told him that my schedule was very flexible and I would make myself available if they could do the job. He said he could help if I was willing to wait a bit. He would send out the crew when they were in between jobs in the area. Two weeks later he contacted me to confirm they would be coming the next day. The two young, energetic and enthusiastic fellows top dressed my flower beds in no time flat. Cory was lead hand and his attention to detail was very much appreciated. He checked in with me before starting the job to make sure we were on the same page and he made sure all trimming and removals were exactly as I wanted. I was very happy with the completed job and will not hesitate to call on them in the future.

We asked Woodridge Tree Consulting to advise, trim the trees, build the protective barriers and help us pass the inspection necessary before granting of a building permit. We got "next day service" and passed the inspection! Furthermore, the specialists who did the work were efficient, knowledgeable and good-natured. And when we discovered that a LARGE barrier they had built was optional-but-not requited, Terry Thrale, the manager, sent the team back the next day and removed the long barrier. This is five star service. If that's what you want, Woodridge Tree Consulting Arborists is the name we have on our Rolodex. Jay Powell and Vickie Jensen

I rarely leave bad reviews, but what happened with Nicholas Gardenscaping deserves to be called…read moreout. My neighbours hired this company for landscaping, and in the process, Nicholas Gardenscaping crossed onto my property and cut back my mature maple tree--right down to the trunk. This wasn't minor trimming; it was complete destruction. That tree took over 40 years to grow and, in a single afternoon, they butchered it beyond recognition. What was once a beautiful, full tree that provided privacy and character to my backyard is now a bare, lifeless eyesore. There was absolutely no attempt to consult me before cutting branches that were clearly on my side of the fence. Any professional landscaping company should know better than to cross property lines without permission, let alone do irreversible damage. This shows a complete lack of professionalism, basic judgment, and respect for others' property. That tree was a highlight of my yard and a natural privacy screen. Now, it's just a daily reminder of the careless and destructive work done by this company. While my neighbors have agreed to pay for a new fence to help restore some privacy, that does nothing to replace what was lost. Under new management, led by Zach Nicholas, this company appears to be both unskilled and unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding Nicholas Gardenscaping if you value your property and expect competent, respectful service.
