This is one of the most beautiful places I've been to in the area. The amazing gardens are eclipsed only by the expansive views. We visited on a warm Friday evening, and it felt like near-perfection. Even better, the wine is reasonably priced. If you are a member of their club, it is even more reasonably priced. We went with a bottle of the signature white blend, which was slightly more sweet than I might have liked (but I like absolutely no sweetness in my wine), but it was still great on a warm evening. One thing I particularly love is that you can buy a bottle or glass and wander the grounds. I can't wait to come back with a blanket and a picnic. We will be back many times, I am sure! read more

Arbor Crest in a scenic winery nestled along the Spokane River between Spokane and CDA. The outdoor view is spectacular and the grounds are well kept with ponds, fountains, small buildings, and arches spread around the premises. We were able to call ahead for a table and a charcuterie board order and when we got there we decided to go with two wine sampler flights. This made for a pleasant afternoon and as a bonus I was able to fly my drone around from the park below. read more

If you get the chance to go here in the summer time I would definitely put it on your list. We went in the middle of January but even then the view was amazing and the wine very good. There is a tasting fee but you get four very generous pours. There is apparently music and outdoor seating in the summer time. We enjoyed our winter visit though and will be back. One tip though. The road up was very clear on the day we went but if you plan to visit in the winter time it is a good idea to call ahead and ask about the road up the hill as I could see some white knuckle driving if you don't! read more

Absolutely gorgeous outdoor seating with some shaded areas and others in the sunshine. We tried two different flights of red wines. Both flights had a couple that we really liked and a couple that were only so-so. We had the snack plate with three types of meat, mustard, and crackers. Love love love! My boyfriend took me here on a Sunday afternoon. The drive up is very scenic. This winery sits atop of a hill with an expansive view. Throughout summer, they have live music on Sundays. I would suggest to come early. We arrived around 5pm and there was already a ton of people there. I believe entry fee is $10/person. Bring a few lawn chairs or blanket! There were a couple of vendors you can get food/snacks from. The atmosphere was fun and lively. We got some wine, listened to some music, and hung out with friends all while enjoying the nice view. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

The grounds are breath taking. What an incredible setting to enjoy wine and/or music! We like their blush wine along with the fact that we can bring in food. The one negative is that the employees (mostly temps I believe for these events) are not particularly good nor particularly friendly. When I spend over sixty dollars for a bottle of wine, two mediocre packaged pasta salads and some music, I would like to be treated as a valued customer. Don't feel that way here. We went for my best friend's birthday and had a ton of fun. We dressed up, had our sunhats and were ready to feel hella elite all up in Arbor Crest. I love this place. I had no idea what to expect but it blew me away. I tried all the white wines I could and ended up drinking from the bottle of rose, and really really enjoyed myself. Said friend and I danced on stage with the band and lived happily ever after. The views are absolutely incredible, doing this again next summer. read more

If you are into wines and even if you aren't I would recommend a visit. The house is located on top of a hill near the Spokane Valley, so make sure you have directions before trying to find it. Arbor Crest was originally built in 1924 and used as a residence by Royal Riblet a chairlift manufacturer. He actually built a tram that would carry people from the valley below up to the estate. The employees are more than happy to talk about the history of the place. During the summer months the place is regularly booked for weddings and events, and when you arrive it's easy to see why. The place has a fantastic view. The staff is friendly, providing wine tastings for the visitors, and the wine isn't too bad either. I definitely walked away with a bottle. read more

Came here on a weekday afternoon. It's located on a hill and the views were scenic though coming from the Bay Area it doesn't compare to our wine country ). If you flew within 48 hours to Spokane using Alaska Air you get complimentary wine tasting -saves you 7-14$ depending on the flight you choose just show your boarding pass. I picked the red wine flight. Red wine is personally not my favorite but the sommelier was raving about their Meritage blend Dionysius so I had to give it a try. If you're in the area and have time go for the view and have some wine otherwise its not a must. read more

Wow i thought this place was AMAZING before i actually visited. The view is perfect, but the management is HOMOPHOBIC. They kicked us out as soon as they saw me and my friend holding hands. We were in a group of 4 and we were ordering the second bottle lf wine, then we sat down at our table and the 'manager' kicked us out, took our glasses that were full, and told us to leave because we were "acting drunk" which is totally not true. This winery even brought their security gaurd to show us off the property all because my friend and i were holding hands. This is SAD AND DISGUSTING. I hope homophobic places like this get SHUT DOWN or transferred to a new manager who is more inclusive. I am in shock this is happening in 2021. read more

The changes that Arbor Crest has implemented makes it less unique. A picnic in the grass listening to music used to be such a great Sunday outing. The food has not been great in the past... and you can no longer bring in even snacks of your own. The wine tasting is an amazing deal. Love the free glass. Although we came here on a Saturday and the staff was extremely rude. They closed at 5 and were pushing for bottle sales as well as wanting to kick people out when the entire building was full with people. Great view, and that's the best part. I happened to be in Spokane over barrel tasting weekend, so I definitely wanted to try out the wine tasting scene. Arbor Crest is gorgeous. Matt and I loved the big giant checkerboard that we took advantage of by playing for a few minutes. As far as the wine goes, I was not blown away. We were poured wines in plastic cups and since it was so crowded, I didn't really get to ask questions about the wines. The taste of them didn't leave me thinking... I want more. Although I did like barrel taste of the malbec, it wasn't enough to make me buy anything. Next time Arbor Crest, uses glasses! I know it's busy, but it makes a difference. read more

The property is worth the drive to this beautiful winery atop a hill with expansive views. Much of the winery and residence has been renovated and the attention to detail is good. If you are craving that European vacation feeling on a Spokane budget you can't go wrong with Arbor Crest Winery. It's at its most charming on a warm summer night during a concert series (Thursday & Saturday). Nestled up on a hill, surrounded by vines....where am I again? The concerts are 21+ and you really should bring a few lawn chairs or at least a cozy picnic blanket. My favorite times up here have included jazz, picnics, and a few hilarious friends. They have a 5,000 sq foot tent available for weddings or private events and it seems like prime wedding weekends book up fast. read more

Arbor Crest is another one of my top fave wineries in the Spokane area. This one is in the valley so it's a bit of a drive from downtown but well worth a visit. It's located on top of a hill overlooking the Spokane Valley. In the Summer they have a festival there. All the wines are top-notch. I'm especially fond of the Single Reserve Cab's and the Dionysus blend. They were originally known for their whites, one of which is only $11 and is very tasty. read more

Came here with my wife, brother, and sister in law, and we hand a fantastic time. We got here an hour before closing, but Laurie and Marina took great care of us. The wines were great, the grounds were beautiful with wonderful aerial views of Spokane. Laurie helped us out with tasting so we were able to better select the bottle of red blend to select. Laurie also graciously accommodated my sister in law with her own stash of decaf coffee since she couldn't drink at the time. Definitely coming back when back in spokane from los angeles. read more
