We also had the farm-to-table brunch, and the food was absolutely incredible fresh, delicious, and one of the highlights of the tour. I actually left wanting to go home, eat healthier, and start a garden! If you're in Maui, don't pass this one up. Great tour, amazing brunch, beautiful setting, and a fantastic experience. I took my parents for their 44th Anniversary and we all love outdoorsy activities so I knew we'd all enjoy this! We were asked to arrive at 10:30 am for the tour and it lasted until 1-1:30 pm. Arrive with good walking shoes, SPF, light sweater and hat (it can get either a little chilly or hot from the direct sunlight), and well hydrated if possible. We were greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable tourguide, Kate from Maryland! She shared with us so many facts about the locally grown produce from herbs, vegetables, fruits, to the friendly worms, to compost and facts about the Farm and the hardworking staff! It was interactive because we got to sniff the herbs, taste the locally grown lettuce, carry a chicken (as seen in the photo with my mom), and even pick the Cherry coffee! After the 2 hour tour, the last hour takes you back to this beautiful seating area in a garden like setting for your 4 course lunch! Each course, the chef comes out and shares details of each course. First course was a Medley of Greens grown on the farm with Tangerine vinaigrette. It was a generous portion for our party of 3 and tried to eat it throughout. There was spiraled carrots and radish with julienned snap peas. Second course was Pan Seared Ono (their proteins are all locally sourced) with Mamaki Tea and Lemongrass Rice with Bok Choy, Collared Greens and Cabbage. Third course was my favorite! I'm usually a big fan of fish but the chicken was so savory and that rub was delish! It was an Organic, Cage Free Chicken with Coffee Cherry Citrus rub with Caramelized Coffee Honey Hash of Carrots, Parsnips, Rutabaga and Celery Root. The spread was a Turmeric and Parsnip puree. Last course of dessert was the O'o Freshly Brewed Coffee with Milk and Simple Syrup with a Dessert Platter of Fresh sliced Pineapple, Tangerine and Apple with Homemade Chocolate Truffles. The meal left us full and nourished! What a wonderful anniversary gift to give my parents. We truly enjoyed it and even made some new friends, both local and visiting.

She was so excited as she had never seen an alpaca in real life before, and suddenly she was hands on feeding babies and moms!! She was soooo excited! So, many thanks to Padma who made our experience so special, and Sassy Girl, Lola and the other alpaca friends we made, and Snow White the bunny and her fluffy pals too. Padma showed us how to refine the fleece and spin it and we had a go at carding too, and she answered all my questions with ease. It was fascinating to find out more about alpaca....did you know they only give birth during the day, usually in the morning ? Easy to book online, especially with Kamaaina rates being honored, easy to find even though you are venturing into someone's driveway, park and walk a few steps to the alpaca so good for children and elderly/disabled, a small gift shop selling beautiful gifts is right there, compact, cute and incredibly fun. Perfect birthday present for a 10 yr old girl ;)

We had visited once before back in 2012 and remembered it being a great experience, and it's nice to see how much the farm has upgraded since then. They offer goat and cheese tours that you can sign up for online. This time, we just wandered around the grounds and relaxed while watching the goats and baby kids play in their pen. We also bought a $10 bucket of hay to feed the goats off to the side. We were told they were under a year old, though they were already pretty much adult-sized! They were extremely enthusiastic about the hay, and the bucket was gone in no time. It was such a fun and wholesome experience, for both me and the goats. Definitely a cute stop, and I hope to come back next time and sign up for one of the tours next time in Maui.

We paid and drove in and parked. There was no problem finding a spot. There wasn't a whole lot to see as far as the lavender growing or blooming, but we enjoyed what was available. We stopped in the market store and bought some organic lavender tea, brownies, and candy. I bought a sticker and my DIL also bought a couple of things to bring home for friends. There is seating with umbrellas which we enjoyed. It was another beautiful day in Maui. After the grandkids were finished, we went out to the large field. The adults enjoyed sitting in the grass and kiddos enjoyed rolling around in the soft grass.

We came in mid October, and the crunchy persimmons were in season. I came from Asia and tasted many kind of persimmons, but never had this kind before. They were green and yellowish on the outside, and crunchy and sweet in the inside. The texture is very comparable to a softer apple so it had a very satisfying crunch. The fruits were hand picked at peak ripeness, needless to say they were very delicious. My husband pre-ordered a three-pound bag (8 persimmons), fearing we wouldn't be able to finish more than that while we were on Maui. Now we know that's it was not a problem, we will purchase double next time. The owners were very friendly and let us walk around the property after our purchase. The farm was well kept and organized, with many persimmons and avocado trees bearing countless amounts of fruit. It was quite a peaceful setting to be in. Overall, we really liked the farm and the persimmons. We will return when we are back in Maui!
