I came here for years. My hair was challenging to deal with for different reasons on my last visit here than on my first (overwhelming hair progressing to hair thinning in tricky areas). The skill levels vary among the staff here, and those who weren't up to the task never got greedy. There have even been temps here who handled my hair quite well, and were very knowledgeable. Granted, I never had my hair dyed here, nor have I had a special hair style done for an event. However, if someone will make mistakes on your hair, it better be someone with at least basic training. The mistakes made by someone with no training (like from several in the place I mentioned above) will lower your quality of life outside your home.

I came in after another stylist had to leave mid-balayage, leaving my hair partially bleached with foils. I called ahead, and a stylist (I believe Beatrice) said she could help. However, when I arrived, she seemed to misunderstand my situation. After seeing my hair and the reference photos, she recommended a caramel toner. The toner took about 15 minutes, and after styling, she told me my hair looked "luminous" and "lovely." In reality, it was very patchy with visible spotting and looked nothing like what I asked for. When I pointed this out, she blamed the previous stylist, which I understand--but she still chose the solution and reassured me it would work. She then suggested trying a darker toner, even though the first one barely made a difference. I felt like my main concern--looking good for my wedding--was not being taken seriously. Instead of honesty or a realistic fix, I felt dismissed. I ended up going somewhere else to correct my hair. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and without confidence in the service.

August 18, I booked 2 additional services, starting at 11am. she did not confirm with text/call a day prior as the scheduling link said and as the previous appointment. I texted this morning at 7am to confirm, she confirmed. She then texted at 10:03, saying, "Lookin like our start time is gonna be 1130 .. please arrived then .. thanks" I responded "Thank you for the heads up, I'm unable to adjust my time today, I would like to cancel the appointments for today, thank you" She informs me that i would be charged a late cancellation fee. I respond, "You're going to be 30 minutes late for my scheduled appointment, I can't accommodate that, so I am canceling. I should not be charged because my schedule can't adapt to you changing my appointment, neither should I be charged because your 30 minutes late." She continues to call me "Hun" after I've asked her to call me by my first name, disrespectful, especially when we're having a difference of opinion. At the end of out text conversation, which she should have called to discuss if my appointment time was changing or gave a better explanation of why it was changing, she responded, " I think it's best to discontinue this relationship" i say, "Great" because we're on two different pages. She still charges me $90 even before my original appointment was supposed to start. Is the business this desperate for money, where we both agree we should discontinue the relationship, no services were rendered, and you still charge me? This is NOT how to run a business. Later in the day, I received an email from this business informing me that my appointment was rescheduled for late Tuesday afternoon. This was done without a verbal or email confirmation from the business. At the time I didn't complain because the new time fit into my day. Forty-five minutes before the rescheduled time, I received a text from the business informing me that the appointment needed to be moved backed. The time didn't fit into my schedule so it was suggested that I "request a refund from Groupon" and my appointment was cancelled. I attempted to contact the business by telephone and text message but did not receive a response. Very unprofessional customer service. Luckily, if the refund doesn't go through, I'm not out of alot of money.

Booked appointment via Internet and she quickly got back in contact with me. We scheduled and meet for to discuss details and deposit. I'm a born again weaver so I looked to her for the best weave to purchase within my budget. That she did great on and color blending my hair. The biggest flaw was the structure of the weave job. My hair is soft and fine, so the braids did not hold up well at all. She was nice and "repaired" the braids the same day, however the same day that braid plus another came down. Also the way the hair was put in was a bit bulky, making it look a little wig like when it wasn't curled and styled. Disappointed that it cost me 200 and I had pay someone else another 125 to redo everything. It's interesting that she comes highly rated on styleseat, maybe it was just an off day for her
