I have been going here for a while. They were thorough and performed the service I requested…read more Recently, my favorite service rep is no longer there. A new service rep is not as good. I had to return a second time because she didn't thoroughly clean my chin. Additionally, she constantly tries to upsell for service not requested. I could have returned a third time as she still hadn't gotten all the chin hair. I plucked them. I may not be going back. If I do, I will insist on the service I requested only. My last 2 visits were more expensive. I will also thoroughly check the work performed. Not happy.

Upon being greeted, the young lady walked me to a very small "room" with waxing table. She covered the table with paper, and told me to change into a white terry cloth skirt. The skirt was not clean, and had hair on it. The wax started fine enough, but it was very clear this young woman was not professional and didn't really know what she was doing. Several times, she left the room, leaving the door ajar. She was the only person working, so every time a new customer walked in, she had to leave the room. At one point, she asked me if it was okay for her to go do another customer's eyebrows. I reluctantly said yes. It was clear that this woman struggled to complete the waxing process. She went over the same spot several times. She did not hold the skin taut, and missed several areas. She also instructed me to "come back tomrrow" and "the other girl will fix what is left." Overall, a terrible experience. The only reason I gave one star was because the technician (I use that term loosely) was very nice.

While it's not a huge difference, there was no explanation for the extra charge, and the posted prices weren't accurate. Because of this, I won't be returning or recommending the place. The quality was okay--the haircut was nice, and she trimmed my split ends as requested, but the blowout wasn't great since my hair was still damp at the roots. Once I stepped outside, my hair curled up and looked bad, so I had to redo it at home. The salon itself had a nice, relaxed vibe, and I was hoping it would become my go-to spot, but the unclear pricing has put me off from returning.
