The lady at reception - I'm assuming is Dorothy - wasn't much for chit chat, so for those who have had a bad experience with her I can't speak to that, being all business is fine by me because I'm not the most extroverted person anyway. I explained the problem and left it with her. The next day I got a phone call from them, the vacuum was ready. I went to pick it up and since the vacuum was still under warranty I was only charged $10.50 for a replacement roller. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience here. The vacuum is now working at peak efficiency so I'm good. I typically don't need a lot of appliance repair but I will be back for the next one.

It is in a busy shopping area of the city and so it can get a bit complex getting in and out of the parking lot given the other nearby businesses but that ought to change once the Costco closes and that car traffic moves. Plus Andrea from…read morepaint walked me over to a specialty item, I was having difficulty finding. For that reason I upped my score two points. Minus The staff are exceptionally skittish and I had more help from customers than employees. One employee in appliances made such an argumentative stance for serving me. Had been paged to assist me. The staff member that paged for me stepped up and scolded him. I dislike stores that have employees that would rather be on break or welfare. Some enthusiasm goes a long way. I decided that I would buy the fridge water filter elsewhere. It was too difficult to gain a little assistance. I also lost the energy to spend any more money for items still on my list. Good job Mr. Minus you know who you are.

Prices are fair compared to the big box stores. Plus, the person behind the counter usually has a clue what you need, even if you don't. I order online to pick up most often to save time for them (and me). Know if you show up before closing they will do their darndest to help, but if you can... don't be "that person" - give them a chance to go home on time. Last visit I needed a tub faucet handle because the set-screw stripped out. Sucks but... bad design isn't their fault. They had a nice genuine manufacturer part in stock and ready for me. I didn't know that there isn't any warehouse staff to pick online orders on Saturdays, but the counter staff had seen the order come in and knew to get it for me. AMAZING! Can recommend and will be back
