Love this school. Great, supportive teachers. My daughter has excelled this year and we will send our son in the fall.

My experience was not positive. My children were not treated well. I saw no respect for the parents. I saw a lot of pretend faith.

I am happy their methods work for some but I don't find they work for kids with learning…read moredisabilities. If you want to help your child with a learning disability do better in school, don't go to these people as they are not trained to help children with learning disabilities. My reasosns are they try to use rote memorization techniques and standard teaching techniques to teach every child, which don't work with kids with learning disabilities. I was going to just let it go since they did offer me some accomodations to get my son's testing done and were trying to offer me a discount to start tutoring and I appreciated that but then Susie K. tried to shame me and make me out to be a bad parent that didn't care about my son's education. It started off bad and just never improved. They tried to have my son who has ADHD do too much in one sitting (an hour for a pretest without any breaks) so we had trouble even getting the pretesting done because my son was frustrated and in tears from too much pushing him to do the test! This showed me they had no idea about learning disabilities or IEP modifications so I stopped going to them and wasn't going to give them a bad review but then I got an insulting email from Susie K. I sent an email to request they stop emailing me since I had asked them to do this a few times already. In response, she tried to shame me as not caring about my child or education because I simply requested she no longer email me about their services. She has never once tried to find out why I no longer wanted to know about or use their tutoring services, she just sends an insulting email because I got tired of her not listening to my requests to not email me anymore. I had to threaten to contact the Better Business Bureau to get her to stop and in retaliation she sent a nasty email back that said that she didn't want to bother parents who didn't care about their children or education! Her insulting and unfounded accusation is why I am now writing this review! IAs a trained and successful teacher with 15 years experience teaching Social Studies and Elementary Science, I think I might know a thing or two about teaching and serving the public. Having taught that long, I know how to administer IEP accommodations, recognize signs of learning problems, and how to help kids do well as long as they know how to read the basics but I did not know how to teach my son how to overcome his learning disabilities to learn to read because I am not a reading teacher or Special Education teacher. I came to them with tears and a desire to help my son but didn't get the help he needed so I took another avenue and she doesn't like that. After the first disasterous testing session, I talked to some excellent Special Education teachers who told me the centers' approach was all wrong for his learing disabilities so I cancelled any tutoring they had scheduled, despite pressure from Susie K. in several calls for them to continue the test and tutoring, and never went back. From my experience with Susie K., all I can say is she is all about making money, not doing what helps the child.

My child has been going to this school for a while now. For the most part the school is what you…read morecall an authentic high school experience coming from out of town to from what we are originally used to. They have various clubs for students to engage in, the school is huge and Ms Rivera was very instrumental in making sure my child's transition to classes were smooth as well as promptly handling any issues related to academics. She was great and very professional ! My child is currently adjusting to the school well. I also love how there is a process dedicated to ensuring the safety of drivers and pedestrians but today was different. One of the security guys; not the elder looking one with the glasses but another one who usually directs the flow of traffic with him and is usually pleasant (look kind of like Steve Harvey, bald head) was not so pleasant today. Before today there are times when I payed attention to see that he has only been attentive to one side in regards to flow. Never said anything just used my driving skills. Today was a day I had to look both ways as I usually do then look ahead to see if I could go and because his attention was elsewhere. I saw that there was no traffic or students so I proceeded to go without his instruction and immediately I assume because I had shades on he thought that I wasn't paying attention. He was very rude and nasty and questioned my ability to see although I continued to be polite so after a while I disregarded EVERYTHING he said after because at this point you are arguing while children are trying to cross and drivers are leaving with their families. I took off my glasses to show you that I see you. He also went as far as to say that "if you have a problem my boss name is yadada Yadaaa ya". So I'm like ok. You are too comfortable giving me your boss name as if I'm not going to call and you're flat out yelling in the middle of you needing to focus on traffic. Immediately while driving home I gave a call to the head of security and he seemed to be receptive of my complaint. Hopefully before the security gets out of character next time he'll think twice and look both ways before he gets mad at a driver for exercising their discernment on whether to proceed against the road or not because I was in the right. At the end of the day no one was hurt or injured because the path was clear. You can't direct traffic and only pay attention to one side. Also as a person that deals with people on a day to day basis you should know how to bite your tongue get out of your personal feelings to ensure everyone is safe instead of arguing with me having students confused as to if they can cross or not because you are angry.

Shouldn't an ENGLISH teacher know that??? They spend too much time on pointless busy work like annotating every page in every book they read and spend time on grammar??? In a pre ap class for 10th graders?? Ridiculous. They also have bad chicken tenders. Very dissapointing. One STAR!

We enrolled him in the infant room at 8 months, and I had the common new-mom tears and fears. The Kindercare team immediately put any concerns at ease, from the center directors Patricia and Janelle who so kindly encouraged me through the first morning drop-off, to the team who was so attentive to rocking, feeding, and playing with my son (and even getting him to nap in a new place!) We love the pictures and updates we get on the Kindercare app of what B is up to during the day. B is now in the the toddler classroom and has celebrated milestones like walking, an expanding vocabulary, social skills, and at 18 months is already identifying letters and numbers. But the best review is the giant smile B has when he sees his teachers at drop-off! We unfortunately are moving out of the area soon so we'll have to say good-bye to this wonderful team, but that means there's an open position for anyone looking for a daycare center where their baby will thrive. :) We love you Ms. Dana, Ms. Norma, Ms. Devi, Ms. Kavania, Ms. Marisol, Ms. Julia, Ms. Indrani, and Ms. Karima!

One -- I strongly advise customers to check hours and lane/pool access and availability as local…read moreschool swim teams and swimming lessons dominate the usage of this facility. Sadly, there are not always lanes for the general public (taxpayers) to swim. Also, pay beforehand (see link) on the aquatic center's website to secure admission to a lane. https://anc.apm.activecommunities.com/pwcsaquatics/activity/search?onlineSiteId=0&activity_select_param=2&activity_category_ids=29&viewMode=list The last two times our family used this facility, swimming lanes, advertised as open or available, were closed (management decided to close the slide an hour early on a Sunday even though kids were using it). I assume because of low usage, the two lifeguards monitoring the slide were needed elsewhere. All competitive lanes were closed for swimming even though they were advertised as open online. :( I have yet to see the diving boards used as they appear to be permanently shut down. Also, please, be very careful when you come and go. Every single time I have been there, someone has slipped and/or fallen on the facility's wet floors in the entryway. No cash is accepted...you will need to pay electronically. Lap swimming (link) is available by reservation only Monday - Thursday (drop-ins are permitted on a space-available basis but be aware that the lane you pay for may be shared with another swimmer). Reservations are not accepted or required Friday - Sunday (drop-ins only) - Most recent hours of operation (link), but call or check their website for additional closures. Closures and Special Hours: The leisure (kiddy) pool and slide is only open from 12-5 on Saturdays and Sundays, and swimming lanes are available w/o a reservation on Fridays...but I would double-check before you make plans. https://www.pwcs.edu/operations/aquatics/index or (571) 374-6333 or email aquatics@pwcs.edu Winter schedule matrix - Link below: https://www.pwcs.edu/operations/aquatics/fees/winter_2024-25_lane_availability_-_11-18-24.pdf

I think their instructor Ben is doing a great job. I will update this post when they finish their lessons.
