They referred to me as "some guy" when texting my partner, who was their main contact regarding the pool. I had identified my self when reporting I'd returned from vacation, but they insisted on treating me like some stranger, even though I'd been to their store several times and talked with their staff when the came out previously to work on the pool. This very strange attitude was enough for us to move on.

This company is a tale of split personalities. In the beginning they were interested and worked…read morehard to get/keep your business. We purchased a well water filter from them ($80) and they never complained about the effort required to clean the "green" from our pool and it cleared up within hours (2-3 hours). Then we started buying the filter from Amazon ($35), and attitudes changed big time. The GM even went as far as to say my wife was rude to the pool hands on 3 separate occasions. Debra only spoke to them once and asked me to get involved. So I went to speak to the "Mgt" team where I was told they have been using 3x the quantity of chemicals to clean our pool and they were losing money. He said we were on the schedule to be re-treated on Friday and he would call me directly to discuss. Call never happened. We then brought in 2 other pool companies to check out our issue. Both claimed the pool had not been maintained for 3-4 weeks. Our Ph was higher than 8.2 which makes the chlorine absolutely worthless. Therefore it's obvious the two man team were not checking the chemicals to ensure the Ph and Alkalinity were not inline. "These must be inline to ensure the chlorine does its job". One of these companies added $7.43 worth of Muriatic acid and left a $6.00 bag of shock to be added after 3-4 hours. We did this and pool was crystal clear the following morning. We went back and reviewed our cameras for four weeks and they did stop by, but time on site was 28, 32 and 38 seconds... yes that is seconds. They never did any work after 2/26 and thank God we do have multiple cameras spanning our pool area for safety reasons. This company is family owned and operated and defends each other fiercely. That's nice, but do not trust them at all with your pool. If I can get a pool cleaned for less than $15 retail price, a professional pool company should not be complaining about the cost to keep our pool clear and clean when they charge $135 a month.

In August of 2022 I had Charlie's plumbing install a new water tank and paid a lot of money for it. At that time I brought to Charlie's attention that the tank had a serial date of 2021 and he replied but the warranty starts today (August 2022.) Well, the Inspector told me that the Insurance Co goes by the serial manufacturing date which is 2021and some Insurance Companies want the homeowner to change out their water tanks at 10 years old. Due to Charlie's plumbing not installing a current year manufactured tank he does not realize the implications to future home owner's insurance requirements. This company had installed the unit in December 2025, meaning it was not even eight months old and was still within their stated one-year parts and labor warranty. The home also came with an American Home Shield (AHS) warranty, so we initially contacted AHS. Their technician came to the home, looked at the unit and the installer's sticker, and advised us that because the system was still covered under the original contractor's one-year warranty, the installing company should handle the service. We then contacted this company expecting them to honor the warranty on the system they had installed only months earlier. Instead, we were told that because an AHS technician had come out and looked at the unit, they would no longer honor their installation warranty. To be clear, AHS did not repair or alter the system. Their technician simply inspected it, saw the installer information, and directed us back to the original contractor because the unit was still under warranty. I find this extremely disappointing and unprofessional. A one-year parts and labor warranty should mean something, particularly on a system installed less than eight months ago. Using the fact that another technician merely looked at the unit as a reason to disregard the remaining warranty is unacceptable. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. Anyone considering using them for a new HVAC installation should make sure they fully understand exactly what circumstances the company may use to deny or void its warranty before doing business with them. we certainly will contact your lawyer.
