She invested many hours into research, with a little help from yours truly, exploring various methods to combat the stubborn algae. Finally, a promising answer emerged, the introduction of White Amur Grass Carp to the ponds. These fascinating creatures are known for their algae-eating prowess, making them an ideal candidate to tackle the overgrowth. However, as an invasive species, the White Amur Grass Carp had the potential to disrupt the local ecosystem if not managed properly. But my honey's diligence and wisdom prevailed. After extensive consultations with experts, it was decided that these fish, when introduced to the closed system pond, would not pose a threat to the environment. She contacted them, ordered the fish and we picked them up at Robertsdale Feed and Seed on the arranged date and time. We brought those dozen fish back and ceremoniously released them, wished them well and hope we have a mutually rewarding and beneficial outcome.
