My favorite Aquarium store around. They quarantine their fish before selling them so they are healthy and eating when you get them home. Staff members are knowledgeable and friendly and familiar. They often time have things priced better than the big box store on supplies.

Best aquarium store in Knoxville hands down. Honest, knowledgeable employees. Tons of selection for fresh and salt. Very healthy livestock. Fair prices. Huge store. First section is just supplies. They have everything from tanks to CO2 systems to replacement Fluval parts. Have an entire outdoor section for pond plants and koi. Huge fish sales room. Tons of aquatic plants for very fair prices. Coral selection is awesome. If you're in the aquarium hobby, this is the store for you. Only competition is 45 minutes away in Jeff city at the Coral reef. The Aquarium employees' honesty and helpfulness along with the healthy livestock... honestly embarrass the other aquarium store in Knoxville (aquatic marine)!!!!! I'll never buy live stock in knox from anywhere but the Aquarium.

First Off, I was in here just looking since we are in the process of getting an aquarium. I was with my six year old, So the first thing I notice upon walking in NO ONE greeted us and the employees were by the door ; so it's not like u didn't see me. Then couples minutes later this elderly lady asked us if we needed help. so we looking at the fishes and they have a wonderful selection!!! So I saw this guy cleaning out the fish tank and I asked him, " Which one is the most complicated? Freshwater or Saltwater and he said saltwater so I'm like (please smile like u look unpleasant, I said this to myself ) whatever ok. ( he didn't appear friendly) Then my six year old had a question with his happy self , Do u guys have sharks? With a big smile and the guy said " We don't have sharks, we don't have enough water for sharks that would just be freaking ridiculous". And it took me a minute for me to return to my sane body and really think about how he answered that question to a 6 year old and on top of that u said it nasty, with an attitude and most importantly u saw us walking in this circle , we passed by this guy 3 times and u didn't ask if we need help, not once. My son is curious , as a parent I know they didn't have sharks, but my son likes to verify after I give him the correct answer. I'm use to it. My son is a happy kid and if u speaking to my my son than u better put a smile on his face. Because my son can do all the picking , But I have the money. The only reason this dusty A** place is getting 2 stars is because the elderly lady asked us if we need help and she don't even work in the back and the other star is for the unique fishes we saw. The fish had more customer service that this hole, I will take my money somewhere else. This guy better be glad my son was with me , Because if it was I and my husband it would have been very different. Beep, Beep !!!

I hired Aquatic Marine to install and setup a tank in my home and was promised "magazine quality"…read more Nearly a year later, we weren't close. I became frustrated with the tank when there was no end in sight, the work was chaotic, scheduling was near impossible, and I discovered that even after paying for routine maintenance none of my equipment had been properly maintained. I decided it would be easier to just start over with a smaller tank, so I gifted my larger tank to the owner, Kinny Parrott, and purchased a much smaller tank that I thought would be easier for them to actually finish and gave them a chance to live up to what they had promised. He and his service manager agreed with no hesitation to store my equipment and livestock until the new tank was cycled and ready to be setup. Instead, they misplaced half my livestock and his service manager came by one evening without any notice and dropped the rest of my fish into the tank before it was cycled and my gem tang and yellow tang both ended up dying. I sought out help from the store to try and save the rest of my fish, and an hour later, received a call from Kinny stating he was firing me because I was bad-mouthing him to his employees which was not the case. He lacks professional courtesy and the skills to deal with any sort of conflict and is one-sided in his beliefs. His communication style is quite aggressive and dismissive, which makes it hard to have an open and honest conversation with him. He proceeded to yell at me and told me that they would not be doing my install anymore and he was not going to return any of my equipment. He threatened us with attorneys and blamed me for being "too hands on with my tank" and said I had unrealistic expectations. He yelled at me on 2 different occasions using me as a scapegoat for both his personal and business issues and never offered an apology for unleashing on me. For months, he had told me that his service manager was overloaded, overworked, and on the verge of burnout and promised changes that never came. When our relationship ended, I was left feeling like their internal problems were passed onto me and I was fired as a result. When I got upset over being fired for no reason and him holding my equipment hostage, I got mad and Kinny proceeded to tell my wife that I must be bipolar. He finally agreed to return a fraction of my equipment after a battle, and several parts were still missing. He still has thousands of dollars worth of my equipment in his possession not including the tank. After gifting him a new tank, purchasing another tank without asking for any sort of discount, and spending thousands of dollars at his store, I was left feeling incredibly taken advantage of. I could go on and on about the customer service, problems that occurred during our time together, and retracted promises, but am hopeful that this brief glimpse into my experience will help prevent someone else from being lied to and taken advantage of. I had been warned about getting involved with Aquatic Marine, and looking back, I wish I had heeded the advice.

And the staff was very comforting, respectful and kind to my self and to Cake for her last minutes. I looked through the window into the employees area to see Mercedes being so gentle with and petting Cake. They love animals and care for their patients at Central Vet, and I'd recommend them to anybody. They were very informative, and open with the costs and what was suspected to be going on with Cake. Such a sad time made easier because of Central Vet. Update. They sent copies of my Cake's paw prints along with the cutest card with handwritten condolences ... so sweet !!!

Stay Clear of this Facility: Dr Patterson, one of the owners is the most condescending joke of a Veterinarian. Because I voiced my disagreements or disdain on several procedures, his apparent god-complex could not handle the criticism. I had been going to this clinic for almost 2 years. In that time, most diagnoses that have been made on my cats were suggested by ME, not the doctor, only to find out that I was right. Meds have been prescribed at the wrong dosage and with other meds that should not be taken together, but not told to me. Procedures were done without discussing cost or approval. The final straw is that I recently lost my 17.5 year old very healthy cat due to their negligence. Patterson claims they followed "protocol", yet PROTOCOL is the very BASICS of care, not the highest of care. I asked for a STAT Pathology report on a tumor removal and was ignored, thus causing my cat to have an additional surgery, within a week, that was unnecessary. She also was getting necrosis in her tongue and I was told on two consecutive days that she was fine and that the discoloration was from possible bruising, not considering that it was necrotizing (Dr Truitt). She had to get that part of her tongue amputated and died 5 days later. Had I received the pathology results on that day, she would not have gone through the second surgery, as she was confirmed with cancer. When I discussed the sequential problems, I was told that all PROTOCOLS were followed. That is simply a LAZY and LACKLUSTER statement. They are trying so hard to make more money and losing all care for the animals we bring to them. Since my personal Vet (who tried to step outside Protocols) is leaving, I received a letter in my email today stating that they were terminating services with me. They don't want to deal with the neglect and malpractice they gave to my little girl. I would RUN from this clinic and never look back. The service has become garbage, as trying to leave messages and make appointments has become like pulling teeth. They have many office staffers (new ones) that are clueless as to what they are doing, yet Patterson "stands behind his staff". Let's see what happens when this clinic is closed down from his poor attitude and service. Again, my opinion is to RUN from this CLINIC.

Behind that house is where you will find Dog Days Canine Playschool, painted in vibrant pinks and oranges. When you walk in, prepare your ears for the little dog barks :) My dog loves this place she practically leaps out of my car and runs for the front door. If you are looking for a place to take your pup to daycare, then this is the place. Harriet, the owner is always there and very nice. You can tell she really loves animals. They have 2 separate areas: One for big dogs, the other for small dogs. If you take your dog here, a few prices for you: 5 hours or less = $14 5+ hours = $21 If you bring 2 dogs, it is half off for the second dog. EX. Two dogs staying for 4 hours = $21 You can drop your pup off as early as 6:30 AM, and at night pick up as late as 9:30PM. They also board dogs, groom dogs, and sell homemade dog treats. If you want to try this place out then call and make an appointment for them to evaluate your pup. This place is so worth it!! I never took my dog back to PetSafe when I found this place. These people really care about your animals. Have you vet fax your pups records to this place. Check the out!
