This Meubles Grand Berger flea market certainly has vintage and retro, with furniture, clothes,…read morehousewares, assorted media, etc. It's run by the Mission du Grand Berger (a.k.a., Mission of the Great Shepherd) that has a food bank and provides meals to people. You'll notice a little musty smell when you enter Meubles Grand Berger's stairs up to the first Lower Level. Don't hesitate to make it to the Upper Level next floor up because there are certainly more varied finds. Used furniture on the whole in Montreal is less expensive than comparable items in New York City, so I've been always impressed by what I've seen. Despite named "Meubles" the organized top floor in particular covers a lot of the non-furniture items. This flea market also groups together Québec related stuff, if that's of interest. It's easy to reach by Montreal's Metro. If flea markets are your thing, Meubles Grand Berger is worth checking out!

My 30-something year old Kenmore fridge, left behind by the previous tenant, had suddenly got the…read morecase of a non-cold spell where the bottom fridge wouldn't keep my items cold. The freezer had an icy built up, and it had been making weird noises ever since I got it. I figured it was time to let this one go and find a newer one. I checked this place and another for comparison, by far this store won me over for several factors: - Cleanliness of the fridges, spic and span, no yellowing of the interiors. - Affordable prices for used appliances - Simple but effective service I had visited over the weekend and they were able to deliver 2 days later, but I opted for a better timing so I made it 3 days later. They take back your old fridge and delivery is included with the price with a 1 year guarantee. Delivery was quick and efficient, they took out my old fridge, and placed in the new. They told me to wait one hour for all the liquids to settle down or else the fridge would malfunction. So far so good! I had such a good experience with this place, I would probably go here again for used appliances.

The installation, however, was not included, and they referred me to completely unqualified morons. It was a simple stacking kit for a washer dryer and they had no idea how to install it. I had to look it up on the Internet and tell them how to do it. On top of it they wanted a ridiculous amount of money for the job. Corbeil should be much more discriminating about the people they refer, and really, they should have their own installers to do these simple jobs.

I asked him why he did that and he said he had no guarantee I was coming. I asked why he didn't hold the washer until noon. He then yelled at me, "Are you telling me how to run my business?" Um... this place is amazing…read more I had no idea this store even existed until I randomly decided to go in after browsing around at Eva B, which is pretty much right next door. Looking in from outside, you wouldn't gain much of a clue as to what this place is about since they aren't big on window display. Nope, aesthetics are not on the radar here. Once you go inside, though, you'll be blown away at: a) the actual size of this place and, b) the amount of STUFF. This is an industrial supply store, full of the most obscure tools, parts, etc and has everything -EVERYTHING- you could ever want before you knew you wanted it. I'm a DIY builder (artist) of mechanical, electronics, whatever and I seriously wish I'd found this place a lot sooner. Today I located an extremely hard to come by brass nut that I desperately needed to finish hooking up the latest appliance I'm working on. I had a hallelujah moment so hard, the guys working there thought I was a full-on lunatic. Everything is super cheap, super organized, and well-stocked. I'll be going here FIRST the next time I need parts. Also, all kinds of camping, fishing and other gear, too. Put it on your go-to list.
