I was honestly SO nervous about getting it back on track after such a long break away from hair appointments, but Jonnie and Abel got it right back on track in just one session (I'm sorry for how bad I let it get, guys)! I'm honestly so happy to be back with these guys! After leaving Europe for NYC and now spending a lot of my time here in OC, I haven't even gotten close to finding ANY stylists in OC that are able to create such gorgeous, natural highlights or blending them in as well as Jonnie just did! Abel finished up with a perfect hair cut and I couldn't be happier! If you're looking for high standards and true hair magic, I would recommend making an appointment with these two!

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience…read more I came in for a lived-in blonde and left feeling like something wasn't right. When I got home and saw my hair in different lighting the next day, I was honestly shocked. The highlights were extremely stripey, there were harsh lines throughout my hair, and the blend was nothing like what I had asked for. The photos I took at home speak for themselves. I contacted the aubrey immediately and returned the very next day to give her the opportunity to fix it. Unfortunately, even after the correction appointment, my hair still looked unfinished and poorly blended. I wanted so badly to love it, but I left disappointed for a second time. At that point, I decided to seek a second opinion from a completely different salon. When my new stylist sectioned my hair, she showed me the back of my head, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There was a harsh line separating my natural color from the lightened hair with very little blending, and the color placement throughout the back was uneven and patchy. She explained that it would require a full color correction to achieve the seamless, lived-in blonde I originally requested. I ended up spending hundreds of additional dollars and another several hours in a salon to have my hair corrected. While I do appreciate that the salon eventually offered me a partial refund, it didn't come close to covering the cost of fixing the work. I'm sharing my experience because I wish I had thoroughly checked the back of my hair before leaving the salon. My advice to future clients is to look at your hair from every angle and in natural lighting before you leave. I truly wanted this experience to end differently, but unfortunately, it fell far below my expectations.

Location wise, the suite listed on the website is wrong so look up the name above the doors. It's a large space with plenty of room for 2 clients at once or in my case, a stroller with a fussy toddler. Maybe it's because my son was playing and inspecting everything in the space, but I've never had anyone do my hair so fast. Lol. I have 2 feet of hair and 6 packs of extensions. That's a lot to get dry. Bree was a champ though and very nice about it. Thank you for making my birthday and for being so patient with my son!

After spending a lot of time understanding what I wanted specifically, I had to find a great stylist. I thought I'd have to go to LA to find someone I could trust since this was a big commitment. Fortunately, ChatGPT helped me find Brian as the top recommendation for experience in cutting bangs in Newport Beach, and his 150k+ IG followers do not lie. I knew I had found my person. The vibe of the salon is super-cool LA Salon vibe. I feel like I am transported out of Orange County everytime I'm here. Vici is a hidden gem!! CHELSEA HENDRICK is the QUEEN of K-Tips and Color....WOW she completely transformed my color (base, color correction, lowlights, and highlights) in one swoop. ...We met before my appointment and mapped out a plan together, which I SO appreciated. She actually listened to my inspiration photos and understood exactly what I wanted -- a rich, warm brunette with dimension woven all the way through, not stripey foils. The result is this gorgeous multi-tonal, melted color with a soft root so nothing grows out harsh. It literally glows in the sunlight. And the K-Tips!! She custom color-matched my Great Lengths extensions so seamlessly that even I can't tell where my hair ends and the extensions begin. We added a few colors that all blended and it turned out AMAZING!! The blend is flawless. She's meticulous, honest about what will and won't work, and clearly a total color nerd (the best kind). Between Brian for cuts and Chelsea for color and extensions, Vici has become my one-stop salon. If you've been burned by streaky, brassy, or ashy color before -- RUN to Chelsea. Worth every penny!

My stylist was A--, and I want to start by saying that she was very sweet, polite, and genuinely took her time. However, it became apparent throughout the appointment that she lacked the experience and skills necessary to deliver the service I had booked. To begin with, I noticed that the hair at the base of my head was not properly washed, although I chose not to say anything at the time. The bigger issue came during the styling. A--- spent a considerable amount of time curling and pinning my hair, but when she finally released the curls, my hair had absolutely no shape or style. It looked nothing like a professionally finished hairstyle. By this point, I was already running late for my family photo session, and the situation became extremely stressful. A--- eventually had to ask Adriana for assistance. Thankfully, Adriana stepped in and essentially had to redo my entire hairstyle. I was very grateful for her help and professionalism, especially considering that she was already attending to another client. Unfortunately, that client was then left waiting approximately 20 minutes while Adriana tried to salvage my appointment. While I appreciate Adriana's willingness to help, I find the entire situation completely unacceptable. As someone who works in the beauty industry myself, I understand that everyone has to learn and gain experience. However, there is a level of skill and competency that should be expected when a stylist is independently servicing paying clients. Customers book professional services with the expectation that the stylist is qualified to deliver the desired results within a reasonable amount of time. I had scheduled this appointment specifically so I could look my best for our family photographs. Instead, what should have been an enjoyable experience turned into an incredibly stressful one, and I ended up arriving late to my photography session. I don't wish to be unkind toward A---, as she was genuinely lovely. However, I do believe management needs to be aware of this situation and ensure that stylists are adequately trained and capable of performing the services they are assigned before working independently with clients. Given the circumstances, I would appreciate a refund for the service or, alternatively, a complimentary blowout and styling appointment with an experienced stylist. I hope you understand my frustration and will take my concerns seriously. I would appreciate hearing back from you regarding an appropriate resolution. Thank you for your attention.
