Jae did an amazing job with my hair today (2/13/2024)…read more It started out rough for me with Studio 26, but they came through in a colossal way. First, I missed their office hours a few times. Then when I did get a number for a stylist I was told to "just text her," but she didn't contact me for a few days... This is an appointments-only salon. Very rarely do they accept walk-ins. I did receive an apologetic message that she was available on this date at 10AM. We followed up with a few more texts about the haircut I was seeking. She also sent a reminder text that morning and remembered my name when I walked in. I noticed this place was a bit more upscale and more up my alley compared to some of the other places in Hobbs. My shampoo, cut, and style was $45 - cash only! Aside from her addiction to TikTok, I really liked Jae. Her attention to detail and constant checking in with me about my hair made me realize she's great at her craft - even with my thick locks! Ample free parking in a shared plaza lot.

Maria is a great women's hair stylist!…read more She also is a barber. Several men before and after me came to Eclips to get their hairs cut. Lol. I was lucky to get her as a walk-in on 9/16/2022; however, next time I will definitely schedule an appointment. Full disclosure: I used to work on the same college campus as Maria, but we weren't in the same department. It was great seeing her after all these years. For $35, I received a full service haircut. They offer service for the whole family. Cash or card is accepted. Tip may be added to Square payments. Maria is very, very gentle - my 8-year-old would love her approach to haircuts & styling. Plus she had oldies playing on Pandora! Free ample parking in a large plaza near Big Lots.

Hollywood Nail Spa came to my rescue recently when my gel polish desperately needed removing plus I…read morewanted to try shellac for the first time. Gel and shellac are very similar in regards to how they are applied. Exposure to UV light in both methods occurs. However, I read that shellac is a bit more gentle and easier to remove and not as damaging as gel. The biggest pitfall seems to be that shellac manis don't last as long as gels. Moving onto the actual place... They didn't have a black shimmer polish available, only plain black. This nail salon is in a plaza adjacent to the nearby Walmart. Ample, free parking. I'm not sure I will be returning because it wasn't relaxing hearing multiple children screaming & crying at dentist office next door. Also, twice during my approximately 45-minute walk-in session, a male employee came up to my nail tech and conversed with her for several minutes, disengaging her attention with the sharp cuticle trimmers she was using on me. Tip may be added to card transactions. My total on 9/13/2022 was just under $33.

I got the feeling he didn't want to be there, and sure enough, after he began the pedicure he half heartedly went through the leg/foot massage, and was not even paying attention to what he was doing. He was watching a TV that was on a wall a few feet away. The pedicure was rushed. It was not enjoyable at all, and not worth the extra money for the massage. I had previously been to this salon maybe 3 times before then, and was hopeful for a good experience. But no. It was always a let down. No plans to return there.

Julie (Jett since there are two Julies on their business cards) cut my oldest daughter's hair and gave her a completely new style back on July 29, 2024. From the mouth of my 11-year-old: "She did really good. She was really nice. I loved that she actually talked to me rather than the other employees." I concur. She treated my daughter like a young adult and gave her so many great tips for starting middle school. Shampoo wash, haircut, drying, and styling in roughly a half hour for $30? Yes! While it is a smaller salon, it's clean and super cute. I know my haircut will most likely be more expensive, but I cannot wait to schedule an appointment here.
