Booked in an appointment with Keith for service, who tells me he will call with the next available appointment time when they're in my area, about 2 days before the appt. Keith calls & leaves a message with appt date & time, saying to call the office if I have any questions and that he'll be in touch if he's running late. Great, all seems good. Until Bob calls the night before service, while I'm at dinner and requests a confirmation callback by 7am the next morning or he'll cancel the appt. LESS THAN 30 MIN LATER, Bob calls back & leaves a message NOT to call back as it's not really cold yet weather wise, so they can always deal with gas logs later, he's cancelled the appt. (It's Sept 1st) I listen to my voicemails after my dinner and call back confused. What is going on? No one has been chasing me for confirmation. Keith told me to call only if I had questions. Do I have an appt or not? NO ONE CALLS ME BACK. No email, no call, no follow up to clarify. 100% wasted my time. Totally unprofessional and rude; I will not be doing business with them. But if you like condescending voicemails from someone you've never talked to about your fireplace they've never seen, then this is the place for you! read more

Hello, please read carefully since our date of purchase for an expensive hotub. Once purchase was completed we were then told we are outside of their service district. My wife.and myself are well educated and if told this prior to purchase we woild never have completed this purchase. The second event involved parts that were purchased through the company. When I did go in store to find the parts had.been in store for months, an employee laid them on the counter and told me to enjoy installing them. This was rude and done.because I asked why my parts had been in the store for several months without contacting me. The owner "BOB" then contacted me via phone and asked that I never come into his stores since my wife purchased the hottub. Most recent my wife personally contacted "Bob" for service and during the call he told her he needed to take another call and he would call her back. Never called back so I contacted him. I told him this was rude.and not good customer service. I the simply asked him if he qoild service.the tub or I would look at other steps It was at this point he yelled about being harassed and hung up the.phone. I have.contacted channel 13 WSET, but since they run adds for Aqua Pro not sure investigative team will do the right thing and expose "Bob: and his poor customer service tactics. However I have also contacted Marquis hot tub since his.company is listed as distributor in my district. This company needs to read these reviews and hopefully either correct the distributors actions or remove the company from being an authorized distributor. I find it appealing that jis.companynos listed and he.refuses to provide service for my district per Marquis website. I will also.xontact other local news agencies intil.i find someone to read out these reviews on air and interview.both myself and wife so others.can protect and expensive purchase and get reliable customer service. read more

The owner is beyond rude with horrible customer service and needs to re-evaluate his people skills or learn how to behave like an adult. It sounds like the Bedford and Lynchburg locations are soooo similar! I'm only sad there isn't a lower rating!. Zero-0- stars! The staff at the Bedford store -- Bob -- couldn't have been more rude to my wife. We purchased a hot tub out of area and brought it to our new home in Huddleston. We contacted Aqua Pros for support around setting up our hot tub and getting the chemicals right. Bob said.- "you want to go and buy the hot tub from somewhere else and then use us". Our intention was to pay for service - Bob quoted three different prices in four minutes - from 50-190 dollars -- for the same service. If he didn't want to do it or doesn't know how or they don't do it- just say that instead of displaying deceptive business practices and blowing off a customer We thought we had purchased the necessary chemicals and were seeking advise -- Bob wouldn't help us unless we bought the chemicals from his store -- where the same chemicals cost significantly more. I don't mind paying a little extra for top quality service, but that involves kindness, support, thoughtfulness, - none of these characteristics were demonstrated at Aqua Pros. My wife doesn't upset easily, but the level of disrespect, sexism, and cultural bias she experienced upset her greatly. I will literally sell my hot tub before buying any product or service from this store. I am certain that Aqua Pros would not condone this type of representation. I am inclined to write this review every day - every one is entitled to a bad day - but this was two days in a row -- kindness is free. If you're having a bad day, you should be more empathetic about the days other are experiencing! Good service costs nothing. My wife's experience is indicative of our society's divide-- no one wants to help those who need it. It would have taken nothing for Bob to answer my wife's questions, be good to a customer, and attempt to earn a long time business relationship - but he choose to be rude and ugly for no reason. Just as I do when I receive good service, I'm going to tell everyone who will listen. I'm going to share this review with corporate and with Bob as soon as I can. Have been dealing with this company for the past few years. Went to them today for testing and there whole system is down. Well that was good for me as I found a small local owned store right in Bedford to do my testing and there prices are much less. Called Aqua Pros about replacing a chimney cap that was blown off during the tornado last spring. They were prompt in coming out to check on things, but after spending 30 minutes, charged me $155 and said it also appeared that a piece of the fire liner was broken. No prior information was given on what a home visit would cost. I was in shock! (Office manager needs to make sure callers are aware of what a home visit costs.) When I called to complain about the charge, even the office manager thought it was: "a little high, and they did not clean it?" (It had been cleaned and inspected a year prior.) The owner offered to put some of the fee towards a cap and a new chimney liner if I decided to go with them...but when I was hit with almost a $2,000 estimate, I declined. One of the gentlemen who came to the house to inspect the chimney said his dad probably needs to come check it out, "as he has 30 years of experience in this area." (Owner declined when I asked if that could happen without additional charges.) I felt like I had been robbed. They may be Aqua Pros, but they certainly are not Chimney Pros. I would give them 0 stars if possible. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM "BOB". I bought a wood stove from these folks and within a year I had issues with the firebricks. They would not come to service the stove, which was under warranty mind you. They absolutely suck. Two missed appointments later, I am done. I literally called and or texted at least ten times without a return call. "BOB" would finally call, tell me I'm on the schedule but he can't tell me when the appointment is. I'd start calling a couple months later when I had not heard back, after another dozen or so calls I would get a return call.... and on and on and on. Two years of this. Seriously, stay away. The kicker is that I have come to learn that "bob" is the owner. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Please do your research. This place has so many one star ratings it should make you question the "convenience" of their being the closest to you. It was such a bad experience, I am now in contact with the manufacturer of my wood stove questioning them as to why they would want their product represented by such a low integrity company.. and i'm a pretty laid back guy. i sure wish i had read these reviews before spending over 30000.00 or more .purchasing not one but 2 hot tubs, a pool liner a robot switching from chlorine to a sand filter. a new pool pump,tanning bed. i received a 680.00 sum dollar bill for our pool opening. got home noticed a pile of leaves in the bottom of the pool. i tried getting them out it was too many. i called bob the owner of aqua pros who assured me that his resposible employees had vaccumed the pool by looking at the invoice that the employee had filled out. and i assured him that my pool had not been vaccumed and because i was upset that i was being charged for something that hadn't been done he was rude and did not seem to be concerned with a loyal customer 10's of thousands of dollars with his company. i did realize that our pool had split in the pool cover so leaves were able to get in the pool and it wasn't his fault but when charging the amount he is charging for pool openings i expect for it to be cleaned or phone rescheduling a time to get this right. in stead he lost the sale of a new pool cover, chemicals, openings, closings and respect and future referrals. he may have serviced 40000 customers over the years i will be one less customer he does not have to worry about spending any more money with him........ read more

Truly the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any business. After spending $450 to have my chimney swept clean by "professional chimney sweeps" I found so much bird nesting in my chimney (after finally getting on my roof) that it looked like a bale of hay! The guys who were doing the work struck me as so incompetent I still would not want them to ever return, even if to finish the job. Aquapros is the worst service I have ever received. Not only did they steal my money but they were completely unprofessional and had the maturity level of an angry fourth grader screaming at me. We had an excellent experience with Aqua Pros. Our filter on our Koi Pond was failing, and they sent out two service professionals within a day to replace out filter (which saved our Koi). They were very professional, sold us a mid level pump that works perfectly, and checked back to make sure it was working perfectly. It doesn't get any better than that! The estimate given for opening the pool and changing the sand in the filter was between $500 and $600, to which I was agreeable. However, I was not at home when they came to do the work (hours before the time we had set) and the bill was stuck in the door and it was $1133.96. One piece had to be replaced but it was only $189. I still am confused as to why the bill was almost double but the owner assured me that they didn't charge me extra for doing the work in the rain! I see a full page of items and labor for which they charged and the listing might as well be in a foreign language. I was not consulted over replacing the part required to finish the service; they just assumed that I'd have the money to pay. This is not the first time that we've been charged almost double the estimate and the last time was for hundreds of dollars for chemicals used to close our pool. Shouldn't chemicals be included in a pool closing? Over the years, we have spent a lot of money with this company, including a hot tub and a top-of-the-line pool cover, but they will not see us at their door in the future. read more
