The reason I contacted them is because they are accredited appraisers and have experience providing testimony in court. That type of experience demonstrates an extremely high level of professional expertise. When I called, Kathy answered the phone and after I explained my situation and why I needed and appraisal, she took the time to explain to me that I really didn't need one. She took the time to provide some excellent advice. Not only did she demonstrate her professional expertise during the conversation, but she also displayed something else - integrity. She could have accepted the engagement and walked away with a fee instead of explaining to me why it was unnecessary.

Gonzalo owns this store. He is a sneaky, pretentious and low class person. I was referred to him…read moreby a trusted colleague so I went with him open, trusting and excited to get some new jewelry with an exchange of 4 rings each worth $1,000. retail. He weighed my jewelry (not in front of me) offered $474. for the gold and promised me the stones. I did not get a receipt and it was not turned into the police or where it was supposed to go by law. He gave me less than 50%, took a huge percentage. We then talked about some jewelry that I wanted, using the $474. as part of the price for that new jewelry. I sent him pictures of what I wanted for my ring. When I finally got to see the ring, it was NOTHING like what I asked for. He kept promising me chocolate diamonds from Columbia as a gift. It took forever to get the ring. I kept stopping by, weeks and weeks. I told him I didn't like it and explained what I wanted. It took even longer. When I got the ring, again it was not correct. It took months of lawyers, talking to him, stopping by, texts and still I did not get the product. I called the better business bureau, went to the police, the mall security and no one was able to help. The mall security office said there was a similar complaint by a woman where she did not get what she paid for. He was horrible to deal with. I had to have a trusted male friend come in and talk with him and we did not leave the store without my ring, which was still in the original state. He had said he did not have the ring several times prior to my friend coming in. He got intimidated by the professionalism of my friend. He preys on vulnerable women. After everything, I could not do anything with the ring and someone stole it from me and I was happy. I had so much trouble with this guy that I couldn't even wear the jewelry.
