Not honorable at all - constant surcharges and attempts to charge you for stuff you don't need. They sent me a picture of someones else's pool filter and wanted an obscene amount to replace it. I explained to them that picture is not a picture of my 10 month old filter that has a 5-10 year lifespan! A pool might need $5 of stabilizer/year and they add $10/month for stabilizer. They consistently missed weeks throughout the year and when I asked about that, I was told that they didn't charge for months that had five weeks. They make you pay a cancellation fee when you cancel service and you pay for the month in advance so when they miss those weeks you have no recourse. The original agreement was to include the spa for $120 per month. They did not honor that and overcharged me $134 which they promised to reimburse but never did. They have continued to overcharge me $130 which I did not authorize for the last two payments. Owner ultimately refused to reimburse me citing increasing costs. Aqua Buddy POISONS DOGS and LIES ABOUT IT. During their first visit, they carelessly left or disposed of a chlorine tablet somewhere in our yard, where our dog found it and ate a portion of it. She is having serious health issues from it and is still sick. When we confronted Aqua Buddy with this, they denied any fault and tried to blame it on us. Even when you have video proof that the filters hasn't been cleaned for over 7 weeks. Horrible customer service. AquaBuddy Pool Service in Fort Lauderdale says they show up but you have to physically see them to make sure you're pool is cleaned. Twice in only two months the company said they showed up and charged us even though I was home this entire time. Also, there is never communication with this company. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Continuing to have issues with this company. They have failed me multiple times, leaving my pool green, and not telling me the correct information. They told me that I needed a new motor so we got one. Then it failed and they said we installed it wrong. They said it was under warranty and it wasn't. We bought another one that they installed. It also failed. They told me I needed an electrician. The electrician told me there's nothing wrong with the electric so that just added to my bill. Next I had to get another motor, and then they told me I need a pump. After spending $875 they told me a new pump would be $800. During the conversation, they said they were wrong and it was $1800. We bought a home in May 2017. We got a referral from a friend for Aqua Buddy for pool maintenance services. I called and spoke with Ingo, inquired if they maintained saltwater pools like ours, he assured me that they do, so I got set up with service. The first couple of times, they came on Monday,so by the time the weekend came around, the pool was dirty. I called back and requested service on Thursday or Friday, as I usually travel for work during the week and look forward to coming home to a clean pool. I was told that they would agree to that. The last time they came was Tuesday of last week. It was POURING outside but he skimmed, brushed or whatever he does and left. The pool was trashed an hour later. The pool flooded 3 times and they never drained it. We secured a new pool service, Covenant Pools, and notified Aqua Buddy that their services were no longer needed. The new pool guy, Roger, said there was no salt in the pool and the pH level was way off. He made all necessary corrections. He also showed how to drain the pool if it gets too full so that the jets would work to improve the pool circulation. Hired Aqua Buddy several months ago. The first month they were Ok, but then he started skipping days. I would call a few days later when the pool started to turn green, and they would insist that he had been there, but he had not. I'm retired and home all day. Waste of money. I was paying them monthly while living out of state and no one was taking care of my pool. It got so green and nasty that I had to replace the motor in my pool pump. When I asked why no one was taking care of my pool for months the lady said oh I'm sorry we had hired an independent contractor and a lot of people had complained that he wasn't showing up. I have Aqua Buddy as my pool servicing company for over a year. There services are great they have good customer service. Our pool is always crystal clear and clean. They test the water on every visit. There service guys are always attentive and want to help if you ever have any questions. In the winter they helped me with my heater that was broken all I needed to buy was a few parts and the heater was back up and running, with a very reasonable service charge I was back online with the heater on in no time. We had been using Aqua Buddy for about 2.5 years at our current location. They advertise that they will come the same day every week for consistency. This was great for us because we have a big dog and a doggy door that he uses all day when we aren't home. He could be agressive if a stranger enters our yard when we aren't home. Because we knew which day Aqua Buddy was going to come every week, we could make sure the doggy door was locked and the dog was inside to avoid this. They started coming on different days of the week without telling us first and started missing days sometimes. When they would miss their Friday, they would sometimes show up on Saturday afternoons while we were using the pool with our guests. If this didn't happen, they just wouldn't show up at all and would still charge us the full amount anyway. Mutiple times I would have to call and ask the manager to make sure our guy came on the correct day and if he couldn't, to make sure they didn't charge us for it. They kept missing days, but never stopped charging us for the days missed. We had to have hope because they were great when we used them at a previous property. Recently they pulled the last straw we had. This entire month our pool has been so green that we have been unable to use it. I sent a message through their Facebook page complaining because they aren't open during the hours that I am not at work and have been unable to reach a live person because of this. They never responded. I called them the following week. The woman I spoke to promised that they would send someone out that day and also call me back to let me know why they haven't been showing up or doing their job all month. We weren't sure if they had actually been coming, because our guy doesn't always leave the note like he's supposed to, to let us know that he had been there. Nobody came out that day and I also never received a call back. I called back the following day and the gentleman I spoke with promised again to send someone out that day to do the treatment needed (they would have never told us we needed this treatment if we hadn't called them). He promised that the tech would come out again that Friday, since that is the day they are supposed to come. I mentioned that we need someone to leave the note card every time they come so we know they have been there as well. Someone did come out that day, but he didn't leave the note card. He never showed up again that Friday as promised and our pool was still really green. We ended up having to get in the pool and scrubbing the walls to get it clean. This morning I told the office manager all of this and he didn't even apologize or try to fix it. I have now cancelled our account with them. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. I called Aqua buddy and set up pool service for my vacation home in Fort Lauderdale. I gave them my credit card number so that they could do reoccurring charges. I left town for six weeks and when I returned my pool was green and there was lots of leaves, palms, and dirt in the bottom of it. I call them, I left a message, and nobody returned my phone call. I called them again, a few days latter, and the guy who answered said they would send somebody out right away. Nobody ever showed up. I cancelled my service and they charged my credit card for two months of services. I called them to dispute the charge and nobody returned my phone call. I called again, I got somebody on the phone, and they told me they would reverse the charges immediately. A week later I called to tell them that the charges still not been reversed, and they told me they had a problem crediting my card and they would send me a check. When I did not receive a check within a week, I called them again. I was told that they had sent the check that day...
