My nephew took my 1998 explorer in for a smog check. He was charged $140. No problems reported. I just called for a quote and was told $70 out the door. Less than 1 Star. read more

Horrible person behind the counter, told me my computer was not working. Went to dealership and everything was fine. Went back to him and he refused to retest or refund. Went somewhere else and was smogged in less than 30 min. Do not go here. read more

They charge $70 for a smog check. If you fail and need a retest, they charge $20. Pretty high prlce considering it takes about 30 seconds to plug in the little device and run the test. Most places with re-test for free until you pass. read more

Very nice man, very quickly checked my car and informed me about a problem with my oil leaking, which is good to know obviously to fix. The price is around 89$, and he sent my results to the dmv which comes with that price. I applied a 10$ coupon as well that I got from the site. I needed to get my dad's car smog checked for registration renewal at the last minute and the place I usually go to was closed. All the other smog check places I contacted that listed a 6pm closing time said they would be closed before 6pm. APR Smog was the only place that said they would wait for me. That alone made my day. When I got there, the staff person who helped me was so kind. He not only gave me a complimentary bottle of water, but he noticed how cloudy the car's headlights were (it had been sitting in the driveway for months) and he buffed the lights with a special cleaning fluid so I could see better on the way home. APR Smog won me over with their kindness, attention to detail, and customer service. The smog check was quick and the coupon on the website worked without any issues. I'll definitely be back and will recommend them to my friends as well. read more

Untruthful. Called to get pricing over the phone and they quoted me 49.99. At the facility they said 79.99. Almost double! When I questioned they said 69.99. I ended up paying 50. Smog was fast but that is the same anywhere you go. Beware of the price discrepancies and make sure you shop around and not settle with this place. I have never paid more than 50 for a smog check. read more

Needed a quick smog check so I called for availability first. Lim was amazing! He said there wasn't a line and he could take my car right away. I forgot my DMV paperwork but he said it wasn't a problem. Upon arrival he offered me water and a place to sit while I filled out his form. The whole process was less than 15 minutes. Fast smog! Literally took about 5 mins. I asked the guy if he could check to see if it would pass before actually running the test so I wouldn't have to pay for a failed smog AGAIN (from a previous establishment). Got in and out on a Sunday morning no problem. There was easy parking and the staff was super friendly and courteous. It never hurts that my vehicle passed easily but they didn't try to upsell me and were done quickly. The wore masks and practiced good distancing protocol. This place is awesome for smog check. I called ahead and he said to come down right away. For a gold star appointment, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The guy was super nice too, although I can't recall his name. He set out a chair for me outside because I didn't want to wait inside due to Covid. I gave them two star just because he was fast. No manners at all. He charged me $99 which I was shocked. I guess my fault not to ask for the price before but this was not my first time an atheist most expensive place I went to was $45!!! I showed hi the $10 coupon online and his reaction was "uh"... we had conversation even when I said why so expensive, he just moved his shoulders up like I do t know and I don't care!!! I called ahead of time and asked if I could come in at a specific time for a smog & they said yes that it wouldn't be a problem yet when I show up NO ONE is there and then someone finally comes out and says I have to wait 5 minutes for the smog check person. I waited 25 minutes, no one was there and when I finally found an employee he told me didn't know where the guy was and wasn't sure if he was coming back.
