We purchased the house mid-2022, took photos & saw no deterioration of the repair. In December 2022, we noticed deterioration in the repair with leakage. I reached out to Mr. JM, sent before/photos, & his response was defensive and blamed settling and adverse soil conditions which he said voided the warranty. He states this without inspecting the repair. We learned that the owner of the franchise that repaired the cracked retired & Mr. JM took over the territory. We hired a structural engineer to look at the foundation and cracks and his report dispels the theory of settlement and adverse soil conditions is weak. Mr. JM called the engineer and tried to discredit his report. Although Mr. JM is now willing to honor the warranty, I want another firm to do the repair and Mr. JM to pay for it because after a series of e-mail conversations with him, he is a very rude person and frankly I do not trust that the repair would be to industry standard. I see other folks have had good service with this individual; however, that is not the case here. Caveat emptor! Mr. JM has given me 24 hours to accept his 'offer'. I told Mr. JM I wanted someone to evaluate the deteriorating repair before anything was done. So, I missed his self-imposed, unrealistic deadline. We had another firm evaluate the deteriorating repair and had them fix it for $750. Mr. JM said the value of the job is $550, so I asked him to reimburse me just $550. While I have remained civil during our communications, Mr. JM has responded with aggression, antagonism, and pettiness. I have also put in a complaint to BBB, yet not sure where that will go since Mr. JM is not a BBB business. The firm we hired to fix the repair is a BBB business.

Lo and behold city hall said no permit was pulled and no inspection was ordered. Their names are Freddie and Matthew. The work was done by 2 gentlemen who do not speak English. I will be taking legal action on this matter to recoup what i paid since I have to have all the work completely redone and it has comprised the integrity of our 4 season room. I also just recently lost my husband and they preyed on that. Unfortunately, i was scammed. I repeat, do not use them.
