I'm a local agent in Sacramento and I have worked with Amy a number of times. She puts a great deal into the appraisals that she does, taking tremendous care in the details and is very familiar with almost every area/city/community that I have asked about. She has helped both buyers and sellers of mine, and is patient, especially with clients that require special attention or are in sensitive situatons (divorce, death, etc). I appreciate anytime I get to work with Amy! read more

As a colleague in the appraisal industry, Amy has been incredibly responsive and professional whenever we have referred clients her way. We always receive positive feedback and appreciate her collaborative nature in our local market. She is very educated and giving with her expertise, serving as a leader providing educational opportunities for fellow appraisers in the Greater Sacramento region. In our industry, it is often tough to please both parties in a transaction, and I believe the number of 5-star reviews and the length of time they span is a great testament to her as a solid appraiser. read more

Amy was absolutely amazing to work with! She got me the report I needed quickly and professionally, which allowed me to offer competitive pricing and secure my deal. She charged $950 for an appraisal that she said will be done in 2 weeks. After several calls and messages it was actually completed in 5 weeks and then it was sent to opposing council and not me. Even though I paid for half of the appraisal in cash, she made several claims that the appraisal would be done in the next day or so and it took 5 weeks to complete. I still have not seen the actual appraisal so I don't know how accurate it is. I would not recommend using this person if you were in need of a timely appraisal. read more

I have had the opportunity to work with Appraise It Today (Amy) on several real estate transactions. She is very detailed, insightful, honest and a pleasure to work with. Most recently, she measured a property for a client who was listing their home as there were differing measurements from the assessor and the last sale. She confirmed the square footage which was thankfully at the larger size. The clients were able to list at a higher price than originally anticipated. Whether you are an Estate Trustees, Sellers, Buyers, Realtors, Property Managers, CPAs, Fiduciaries or Attorney in need of an appraisal done properly, you need to call Amy! She has numerous years of experience and has her finger on the pulse of the greater Sacramento market and surrounding areas. read more

Amy Parker from Appraise It Today, Inc. prepared an appraisal for my clients because the buyer's appraisal did not include nearby comparable sales and as a result was far too low. Amy responded immediately to my inquiry, and was able to complete the appraisal within the timeframe set forth by my sellers. She was extremely thorough and made the buyer's appraisal look horrible in comparison. It always come down to an opinion of value in an appraisal, and one guys' opinion is sometimes completely wrong, especially when that guy works in some other county all together. What made this appraisal stand out is also the fact that Amy Parker had appraised some of the comparable sales used in the bad appraisal, so she had intimate knowledge of those properties which allowed her to easily explain why they were NOT really comps. I've worked with tons of appraisers, and Amy is definitely one of the good ones! read more

Amy, thank you so much for your timely and professional response. There was a question to the actual square footage of my home. For appraisers Amy Parker sets the bar for professionalism, knowledge and experience. But two more criteria put her at the top of our list. She is caring and she is tenacious about getting the job done thoroughly and with a sense of urgency. We chose her again this week for our client who had a tight contract deadline. Amy knew the market and worked long hours making sure she had all the relevant comparable properties and facts included in her appraisal - and she delivered the appraisal ahead of deadline. She is an invaluable asset to our business and consistently provides expert advice and guidance. read more
