Not sure why my review that I left in July was blank. I was able to find it and read it before…read more Anyways I will do it again.. I have also updated a few things below. DR Chirag Shah had me come all the way out there to his office to be told he isn't making enough money from me and didn't give me my booked services knowing I was in pain and on the verge of crying over some stressful stuff I was dealing with. Instead of taking care of me.....his "patient" who had two services scheduled that she really needed.... Which Dr Shah could have done to help because he is a doctor who is supposed to care for his patients and their well being he sent me packing. I didn't need to be in that position with him. I came in visibly upset, shaking, and ready to lose it. I told him what had happened that made me that way (he didn't ask) but acknowledge that I looked very worked up. He didn't seem to care that I already had enough and was on the edge. He put the icing on the cake by denying me my booked procedures saying "Im not going to waste anymore time on you. I don't get enough $$$$$ from your insurance companies".???? Then why do you accept my Aetna plan? Dr Shah has been contacted by Allstate because he submitted his bills wrongly. Allstate has called to speak to his office at other points to tell them what was needed to be sent in to get paid......Allstate was actually waiting on Dr Shah or his biller to send the correct things to pay off the $589 that they claim is owed to him.... Its HIS FAULT he isn't getting paid by Allstate. Give them what they asked you for EOB's, COB's, OFFICE NOTES. However he was being paid by Aetna my primary. He wasn't happy with what Aetna my wad paying for my services ... DO NOT take the insurance the . Thanks for making a very bad day worse. I ended up crying my eyes out having a panic attack on the first floor as I was coming from the elevator. There weren't many people in that area but, a registration lady saw me and got a nurse to wheel me all the way over to the ER. The ER was packed. I sat there having a panic attack/ meltdown until I calmed down enough to drive. Its all about the $$$$$$$$ with Dr Shah but, I caught on to that a long time ago when he was telling me his other chiro friends in the South easily do over 100 clients a day when I first began going. The acupuncture room is a mess. I have often had to change my own face cover and was rarely offered a gown. I almost bought my own on amazon. I hated having to lay on that old green sheet with a big stain on it. It was always on there being used by everyone before me. Dr Shah also performed acupuncture on me before my massage quite a few times and would take a napkin to pat the blood off my back and send Corey the masseuse right in to give me a message while I likely still was bleeding. One time Corey even pated it up with a napkin and mentioned she hates when they do acupuncture before the massage because people bleed. Dr Shah did not seem knowledgeable or like he cared while performing acupuncture. He never examined me at visits or asked about my pain or how the acupuncture was working. He just came in real fast put the needles wherever and moved on to the next patient. The only reason I kept going is because the massage helped and my insurance paid for it. I kept letting him do acupuncture because I did not want to offend him and hoped id get lucky and have him stick the needles somewhere I needed them. Update.. I received a call from Dr Shah about a week or so ago saying he has gotten things worked out with Allstate whom is secondary to my primary insurance Aetna and told me I could come back. I believe this is because he had seen my reviews or was contacted by the hospital his office is located in about my complaint. However, when I was in the office with him he made it clear that even if Allstate paid my secondary patient portion it will still be a waste of his time because Aetna pays him less than he charges and its not worth it. Update today I received a call from his wife telling me I have falsified my reviews of them. My review was my honest opinion and I did not lie or exaggerate my experience with them. I stand by my reviews. His wife threatened to take me to court over it. I told her to go ahead I stand by my review. My review is not the only one out there that have similar complaints. They also solicit patients for reviews. Every week for about 3 weeks Id be asked to submit my review. I eventually caved and gave them a decent review because I was still a patient and did not want to say what I really thought because it would have made things weird. I had that review taken down. Like I said I only kept going because they take insurance for massages and I can't find anyone closer who does. Ill be waiting to hear from their attorney. Sent from my iPhone

I had tried chiropractic care before, and quite frankly it terrified me. But after several months…read moreof headaches, I was referred to Dr. Shah by my pcp. She said that she went there as well, and his office is literally attached to the hospital, so I thought what the heck... And it's been a life saver. My headaches are gone and even thought it's only been a couple weeks I do notice a difference. I'm not saying they're miracle workers, but I've seen far less results with traditional medicine and care. If you can afford the commitment (and have decent insurance), do yourself a favor and check them out. Oh and the office staff is amazing as well!

I have been a patient with Chiro-one since 2020. My first treatment plan went well with Dr. Burney…read moreD.C. I came in barely able to move my neck, and within 6 months I had full range of motion. This was a positive experience, so I decided to use them again for a shoulder impingement injury because it was draining my mental health. I was not enjoying things I used to enjoy because I was always in such discomfort. I tried to rehab on my own to save money, because I was not comfortable given my financial position to pay another $2000. I ended up hurting myself during my at home rehab, and drove straight to Chiro-one out of desperation. Even though my insurance would not cover the visits, I decided since my first experience was so positive, I would set up a long term payment plan. Dr. Burney D.C moved on to a different Chiro location the day after I signed that contract. If this would have been presented to me during my initial exam with Dr. B, I would have had second thoughts to begin with (this is probably why he did not say anything). I went through about 4-6 weeks of rehab, about 8 visits, without any improvement. The care was certainly different once Dr. B left. I am at Atletico now and I showed them the exercises they had me doing for my injury and they were baffled. My program was not updated once the entire time, and the place was always overpacked. It was 3-4 people per assistant, and you would maybe get 5-10 minutes of personal treatment. My good friend since I was 9 years old suddenly passed, and the depression I was feeling was intensified so bad that I had trouble getting out of the house. Then about 6 weeks later, I had to have sudden Knee Surgery because my knee was so swollen that permanent damage was possible if not acted immediately. I then was stuck at my house unable to move without help for 2 weeks. It was a really tough time in my life. When I came back I was told that we took away your remaining 27 visits, but here is another $5,000 plan for 36 visits... I was stunned they would do this to a patient after I've paid $4,000+ since I started care in 2020. I even explained everything I went through, but the staff told me if it was up to them they would give me my visits, but the business they work for does not care about anything other than the contract you sign. I used 25% of my plan, so that means I might as well have took $1500 out of the bank and lit it on fire. I don't know about you, but that is A LOT of money that'll have stolen from you. Their reason is if you do not come in for 90 days straight, the remaining care plan is VOIDED and you are responsible for payment still. I just cannot believe this is an actual thing they hide in your contract. Not ONE call/voicemail warning me this was in the contract, because I could have at least scanned myself in to re-set the clock.. They called a few times to ask when I was coming in next, but not a single word about this 90 day policy. These guys are people we go to when we are desperate to get better, and they took advantage of my desperation in a very unethical way. I've been told by a lawyer there is nothing legally I can do because the contract is the contract, but that this is extremely unethical and the best thing you can do is warn future patients to help them avoid being abused. I strongly advise you pick a rehab/Chiro that cares about you as a person instead of a dollar sign!!! The financial and emotional stress this entire experience has caused me I wouldn't wish on anyone in my situation. I was just trying to get some help getting back to feeling like normal, but instead they left me worse than I was when I came in for treatment (both emotionally and physically). STAY AWAY! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS AROUND THAT WONT STEAL FROM YOU.

Worst place to go at first they tell you that they're going to only charge $20 on your first visit,…read morebut it's just to get you to pay lots more. DON'T COME HERE. They're even willing to do an X-ray to get you to go again and start charging you their real price.
