We had to store all of our perishables in multiple mini-fridges we have. It was like living in a college dorm. Days and days passed and finally I said there has got to be a better way. I researched online for same-day appliance repairs. Of course, we would want ALL appliance repairs to be "same-day appliance repairs"! Right?!?! Through that google search I got connected with a company I wholeheartedly recommend: The Valley Handyman Services. Within hours of my call Ulises was in the kitchen looking things over. First, he opened the freezer, water poured out from the melted ice in the ice maker. He was so kind and helpful. Just asked for some towels and took care of the pool of water. Then he did the inspection. Ulises has positive energy, proactive, insightful, resourceful suggestions AND he had a great plan. He made some calls, got the parts ordered and he was back in about 36 hours. He then fixed the fridge and freezer in about 20 mins. Ulises also did some maintenance work as part of the service. We are so appreciative to The Valley Handyman Services! I will always call The Valley Handyman Services because I do believe they are the very most reliable same-day appliance repair company. Don't hesitate. The Valley Handyman Services will take good care of your appliances, expeditiously.

The only reason we didn't get it installed sooner was because we were going through our Home warranty service, and they take longer for approval, etc. Jonathan called when he was about 15" away, was always prompt and courteous, and came a day sooner than we had originally planned. We HIGHLY recommend A&S. One morning I woke up and the fridge was dead. Nothing. No alarms, no lights. Bill arrived within a few hours of our call, when no other company could even try to come until much later. That may have been good scheduling luck. We were pleased with his professionalism (and my spouse noted that we didn't have to remind him to please not walk on the white carpeting with shoes). The part we needed came in and the fridge was up and running within a few days. But that's not why we are so impressed: Our commercial-grade Jenn Air refrigerator has actually been problematic since we bought our home. The owner of the home warranty approved company here in Big Bear came out and told us he "wouldn't touch it". He advised us to find parts on Ebay?! We bought time by turning off our ice-maker, and left it that way for over a year. After the repair by A&S we noticed a recurrence of the initial problem that caused us to turn off our icemaker when we first moved in. We had Bill come out and take a look, and his assessment of the problem was similar to what we were told by the warranty-approved company who refused to fix it. The difference was Bill offered to try and find the part, as well as do the repair. We looked online and noticed many owners of this refrigerator had this problem, and it appears to be a design flaw that would happen again in another five years or so. If you own a commercial appliance, you've seen that the parts are expensive (because they know you would rather repair the appliance than shell out for the exorbitant cost of buying a new one). We found the part online based on information A&S gave us, ordered it for a reasonable price, and had them put it in for far less than we expected. Very fair prices, excellent work ethic, and fantastic service! We HIGHLY recommend A&S.
