    I ordered some items for curbside pickup around 4:30 on a Thursday. The site told me it would be…read moreready within 2 hours. I arrived at a bit after six to grab a few small items in store. Then we parked curbside and waited. And waited. And waited. Never got the notice it was ready, so I went into the app to check the status and it said curbside pickup was until 6 PM. I wasn't told that when I ordered, but okay. Not the store's fault, I guess. So the next day I'm waiting on the notice that it's ready for pickup. And I'm waiting. And waiting. And waiting. I finally get a notice about midday that one item was out of stock and I'd get a refund. Okay, so back to waiting for the rest. I wait. And wait. And wait some more. And finally 24 hours after the initial order I give up and cancel. What happened to it being ready in two hours? And how does two hours become over 24?? I'm so furious. I would have just gotten them all in store if they hadn't been heavier items that we needed help loading into the car because I have a hernia and my husband had spinal fusion surgery and neither of us can lift much. I definitely would never recommend ordering pickup from this location and I'll just go to Lowe's from now on.

By December 2025 -- barely a year in -- the freezer and ice maker quit. No problem, I thought. It's under warranty. That's what warranties are for. I was wrong. Six service visits later, my freezer is still broken. Six. That is not a typo. And in all those visits, not one technician has bothered to explain what's wrong, what they did, or what comes next. They show up, poke around, and disappear -- frequently without so much as a goodbye. I've learned more about my freezer from staring at it than from anyone Metro has sent to fix it. When the tech visits became a revolving door, I called the service manager, Harry. He promised a callback at 3:00 PM. That call never came. When I followed up, he told me he was working with the Dacor rep and would get back to me Monday, April 20. That call also never came. Apparently, Harry's calendar and reality operate in different time zones. So I escalated to the manager, Wade. I've now called Wade four times. He returned exactly one of those calls -- once -- and has gone silent ever since. Three follow-ups, zero responses. If hiding from customers were an Olympic event, Wade would medal. The latest insult: today, May 7, a tech finally came back out -- only to inform us that they didn't bring all the parts needed for the repair. After six months. After six visits. After two managers ghosting me. If you are considering Metro Appliances for a major purchase, understand exactly what you're buying: a beautiful appliance up front, and the moment something goes wrong, a customer service experience that ranges from indifferent to invisible. The warranty is only as good as the company standing behind it -- and Metro is not standing behind anything. Save your money. Save your sanity. Buy somewhere else.

    The most horrible place to purchase anything. Appliances are damaged and constantly problematic…read more The furniture is cheap quality. They take advantage of the uneducated and marginalized in the local community. The owner, Cory, does not hear what you are saying and dismisses her clientele as though they are irrelevant or unimportant even when the client has valid concerns...instead of correcting errors made on the part of AAA, she cuts you off in conversation while making attempts to demean and invalidate the experience of the client. You spend costly amounts on repairs of their appliances and still have problems with the appliance that they are unwilling or unable to address or correct without costly fees and those repairs are NEVER fully corrected. Case in point: I had a Kenmore fridge that was purchased from Sears in 2003, never had it serviced, and it finally had to be replaced in 2017. I then purchased a Kitchen Aid fridge from AAA and have had CONSTANT issues that AAA claims they are repairing and the issue NEVER goes away. The freezer keeps having problems to the point I had to replace the rubber gasket at the end of December 2019, called about it twice in 2020 (the freezer was still having problems), spoke with the owner today who says I have to pay for them to come fix the brand new gasket that has come loose and hanging under the freezer drawer. Even though I have called twice about this issue in 2020 (once in February 2020, again in April 2020, and today) the owner says she will not honor the warranty. Really? I called within the warranty time in Feb 2020 and was told to just continue using a little more force to close the freezer drawer as the gasket needs to get "adjusted" to its new location (whatever that means). My experience with this company has been horrendous as it relates to their appliances and the cavalier attitude of the owner lets me know this is in not a reputable business. They are heartless and have zero compassion when they are the ones who are touting a product (the brand new gasket) that has failed. Unwilling to take any ownership for the failure of their product and unwilling to correct the failure of the product without passing the cost along to a client that, if they were truly thinking clearly, has the potential to spend thousands of dollars more with them in the future than the amount of money it would take to come out and replace their cheap gasket. Instead, they have shown that they don't care about the potential loss of future business and instead care about getting paid for failings on their part. Absolutely sad and atrocious. SHOPPER BEWARE...DO NOT SHOP/PURCHASE at AAA

    How do you earn a 1 star rating? I purchased a tree online last night, woke up to a refund today…read more Immediately contacted the store and was told I never made the purchase. I was also informed my 7 minute conversation didn't take place, and I'm not intelligent enough to pick the proper location. I accepted all of that and decided to make the purchase again after receiving such wise counsel from "the highest paid salary management on staff". After making the purchase again, I was told it didn't come through. Capitol one shows the purchase immediately using Apple Pay, but their store doesn't recognize the purchase. So I asked a simple request. I have a 4 hour round trip to pick up this tree. "Can you set it aside to ensure it will be there when I arrive? " managements reply: " no, but if you want to take the chance and make the drive, we can sell it to you in store, if it's still here when you get here." Stores like this don't deserve our business. They also don't deserve a single star rating but it's as low as you can get.
