How do you earn a 1 star rating? I purchased a tree online last night, woke up to a refund today. Immediately contacted the store and was told I never made the purchase. I was also informed my 7 minute conversation didn't take place, and I'm not intelligent enough to pick the proper location. I accepted all of that and decided to make the purchase again after receiving such wise counsel from "the highest paid salary management on staff". After making the purchase again, I was told it didn't come through. Capitol one shows the purchase immediately using Apple Pay, but their store doesn't recognize the purchase. So I asked a simple request. I have a 4 hour round trip to pick up this tree. "Can you set it aside to ensure it will be there when I arrive? " managements reply: " no, but if you want to take the chance and make the drive, we can sell it to you in store, if it's still here when you get here." Stores like this don't deserve our business. They also don't deserve a single star rating but it's as low as you can get. read more

Extremely long lines. Only two checkers. Put in some self checkouts or hire some folks. Clean store and nice and cool. Finally got a third checker. Then we got an item without a price. World came to an end. Oh lord. read more

Management take note.. I tried to return outdoor string lights that did not turn on when plugged in, and pottery that I no longer wanted. The original cashier gave me the impression I would be able to return these items no problem. I entered my phone number, because I lost the receipt. The phone number did not work, so we tried my boyfriend's number. The system would not let another number be entered, so she called some help over. The man said, since the items were not purchased on an insider account, the returns would not go through. However, I could exchange the outdoor lights for a different set, but why would I do that since the original string lights were totally broken? I don't trust the brand, I would want a different set. The second staff that the original cashier called over was rude, unapologetic, and short with me. On my way out, I threw their products in the trashcan. My reaction was extreme, but 1) I was given the impression these returns would be no problem and 2) the "lead" or whoever he was did not offer any reconciliation for being unable to return my products. Sadly, this will not be my last visit to At Home. The products are cheap and they have a lot of variety. But I do hope management will train staff better regarding return policies and communicating clearly to customers. read more

Checked this place out over the weekend and I've been a fan of Pottery Barns in the past but this place is like a Sams Club on steroids for "at home" it has everything you could need, the only reason for not 5 stars is because it kicks in my ADD and I don't know which isle to start with first. I do love the ancient indian statues and buddas to buy to throw in my bathroom, also thinking about scooping up a blue couch. I like this place like you like an eccentric, overtalkative person. It's not perfect and it's a mess but there's just so much there, it's fascinating to spend time around. Staff need more days off or something - seem stressed. Maybe it's an effect of being around all that clutter. Oh, and a good 1/3 of the store is filled with Xmas stuff right now. You know, I held off writing this one for a while, and I'm glad I did! On my first visit, I didn't really need anything, so I wound up picking things up off the shelves that were super-whacky (like the life-size concrete 'gator head lawn ornament) and so spent a lot of time picking up frivolous things and marveling at their price tags. But, on my other two visits, I had a mission. I was looking for something specific, and I'd already tried Walmart and Target. Both times, they not only had what I wanted (dare I say needed?) they multiple options, when no one else did. High marks for that! If you're looking for seasonal decorations, varied (or matching) furniture, goofy lawn ornaments, or out-of-season items (like, say an umbrella stand in September), this is a solid place to look. They get dinged on my rating for being a little hard to navigate, and never - ever - having anyone on the floor to ask for directions, but the checkouts are always staffed and quick and friendly. read more

I love the items they have here, though some are over priced and you can get at Walmart for a fraction of the cost! The reason for the two star rating is the lack of cashiers. Every. Single. Time. There's always a line with maybe one one two cashiers no matter what time of day or time of year. I'm writing this review as I'm in line at Christmas time. In the summer, I found a huge selection of ceramic garden pots, which was nice for browsing and finding the exact ones I wanted. However, prices were not much cheaper than elsewhere. Just recently, I went to find flatware and everyday glasses, and the selection was abysmal, especially in flatware. They had maybe 6 patterns, and some of the boxes looked like someone had stolen things out of them. Glassware was not any better priced than other stores, and certainly not a wider selection. As other reviewers have noted, there's very few staff available to help. Moral of the story: At Home is great for seasonal decor, but go elsewhere for essential housewares. read more

Covid or not the checkout should not have only 1 person for a store this size. Next, 3 employees were on their phones and standing around laughing and talking and not helping anyone. Nice store, I come here every so often when I am looking for something to spice up my home. As far as organization I would give them a 7/10. If you go early in the morning and catch them when they first open things will be in order and you won't have to search so hard for everything. But sometimes the best thing about shopping is the hunting and searching. Prices are average, style is new although the office desk selection needs to be updated. Customer service was great, except for a time when I went in late and the cashier had a little attitude but I'm guessing that was because they were about to close and workers get grumpy when they have to work their full shift lol. they have pretty much everything I need for my new home on my small budget. I only spent an hour there and didn't get to see everything, but it was fun. it's like a mix between Tuesday Morning and Hobby Lobby. I'll be spending a lot of time there while I set up my new place. read more

Been here on several occasions. Purchased a large area rug, deck umbrella and stand and multiple wall decor. Some things (furniture and decor) feel overpriced but there are good deals to be had in this store. Plus they have pretty much everything. Tip of the cap to At Home. read more

I personally love going in here but sometimes I'm afraid all the employees are locked in the back. We have left without buying anything because we couldn't find a single person to help. And indeed we have left things in the basket when there was one casherier, four empty stations and the one checker was surly. We ordered a rug from daycare because no one was around to help get the one we wanted down. read more

The items are often overpriced and while they have a great selection the items are overflowing from the shelves and it hurts the quality especially art and wall decor as it gets damaged easily. If they would either expand some sections or get new display racks that would help greatly otherwise I feel like I'm in Lowe's or Home Depot read more

The previous reviewer is completely correct. This place is super ghetto, very dirty, and always a complete mess! On top of that, the cashiers are extremely rude and slow. I've been there three times and twice witnessed cashiers arguing with each other and the third time I attempted to buy a basket that was marked on sale. After standing in line forever, the cashier told me it really wasn't on sale and wouldn't honor the fact that they marked it on sale. This place is a complete joke. The franchise should be embarrassed! This place even makes Walmart look like a luxury! It's discussing!! read more
