Not great service. Earl came out to fix a problem with our washer. After two visits and over $300 the washer is still doing the same thing. I called last Friday to discuss it and today is Tuesday and I have not heard back. I would have preferred to just buy a new washer. read more

I scheduled an appointment thru the Lowe's warranty (Assurance) and they never showed, so I rescheduled and gave Appliance Specialists the benefit of the doubt because Lowe's had our contact information incorrect. They were supposed to be here between 8AM-5PM. I called them at 1:30PM and they're answering machine picks and says Appliance Specialists and beeps, so I left a message, still no calls. My husband was home all day and I get home at 5:30PM and no they have never showed up! No calls saying they couldn't be here. Twice they couldn't make it and didn't bother to call! If they don't have the courtesy to call and say they can't make it, I don't want them working on my appliances! I want it fixed right not half way and it looks like that's the way they way roll! THEY got their money ($300) and my icemaker STILL doesn't work. Started in April 2022 and its now July and my icemaker still isn't working AND they will not answer phone (ever) and will not respond to any voice mail messages I leave. I was able to schedule an appointment for service on our microwave for the following day. The technician called before coming to the house, showed up on time and wore a mask. He checked out our over the range microwave and explained thoroughly what the problem was. He was able to replace the door switch and a fuse without taking the microwave down off of the wall. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. I will call this company for any future appliance repair needs. read more

When my washing machine stopped working, I thought I would most likely need to buy a new one. The technician from Appliance Specialists was able to diagnose the problem in a matter of minutes and get my machine running in no time. He had a replacement part with him, so no need to wait for another service call. The cost was very reasonable. I am thrilled with the service I received today. read more

Do NOT use this company. The person who was sent did not call when he was on the way to our house or at the house. He came back to the house and was extremely rude. I called the owner who was equally rude and he informed me that it has never been their policy to call ahead. This company does not know the meaning of customer service. I tried to give them a zero rating but the lowest rating option was 1 star. Frankly they don't even deserve a zero. read more

Refuse to come and repair my washer has been 4 months! Receptionist called and screamed at me and said they will never come. She screamed and called me every name in the book. Samsung says Appliance Specialists is the only repair company for them in this area. I did NOTHING to this receptionist at all! read more

I have been very pleased with their service. I am sorry I bought a Samsung washer and dryer, however, they have fixed three separate problems correctly and it is still running. Never buy a Samsung washer and dryer! read more

Worst customer service. Tech came out to the house to look at my washer. He said he'd order the part & be back to fix it. It's been over 3 weeks.. no part has been ordered & now LG can't get a hold of anyone at the store. Why take business if you don't care to work? I have to echo some of the previous comments. This company has THE WORSE customer service I have experienced! We have a warranty on our washing machine. When I called to schedule a repair, they told me they would have a local repair company contact me within 24 hours to schedule a repair time. THREE days later I received a call from Appliance Specialists. I was told me ONLY 2 options were 8 am - noon or noon - 4 pm for an appt. I asked if they had weekend hours & the lady acted insulted that I would even think that would be a valid option. So....I scheduled the following week from 12 - 4. I got home today at 12:05pm and spent the afternoon waiting for a repair man. No confirmation phone call whatsoever. Finally at 2:40 I decided to call & just make sure that I was on their schedule for the day and was told they had already come & no one was home! SO.....apparently they were here at 12:00 and left before I arrived at 12:05!! I asked why they didn't call....I was told because I didn't ASK for them to call! Are you kidding?! So....the service tech called the office and when the office manager told him I didn't request a phone call he could just leave! FIVE MINUTES! The office manager was RUDE and unwilling to make any options. She seems confused why coming thru the week was an issue....um, we work! So I spent an afternoon for nothing. She offered NO apology...and my ONLY option was to just rescheduled, but was sure to tell me if I waited too long, the warranty ticket would be cancelled. I do believe the ONLY reason this company is even in business is because they have contracts with warranty companies. There is no way a consumer would willingly use a service company with this poor of customer service. read more

I am one who normally likes to comment when I get great customer service. It hurts me whenever I have to give a comment when customer service is horrible. Unfortunately the customer service at Appliance Specialist, specifically the office manager's performance, was exceptionally poor. My first contact with them was when they were referred to me by my home warranty company and I was told to call them if I did not hear anything in 24 hours. I called and called and called but there was no answer on the phone, and no return calls. I finally had to go to the store and ask what was going on. The owner, who is the technician, came out to the house eventually, and represented the company well. When I received the results from the home warranty company I called the company back and they did not answer. I called again, leaving a second message, and they did not call me back. I called a third time, and you know the story. Nothing!. So I went in to the store once again, a little hot under the collar to say the least, was told there's something wrong with the phones. Yet they did not call me to find out what was going on. In over a week and a half. The only thing I could say, is this is the worst customer service I have received in a long time. If I could give something less than one star, that's what this office manager would deserve. I give the owner five stars, but unfortunately he's represented by a less than one star office mis-manager. read more

Awful. This company is contracted out by Lowes and you must deal with a rude and unprofessional gal on the phone only to wait over a week for a service appointment. On two different occasions they were untruthful about calling us to schedule a service appointment and not leaving a message. Very disappointing. read more
