I'm giving this business a big thumbs up for referring me to someone who could help me because he was backlogged. He didn't have to do that and the company he recommended did an excellent job at a very good rate. This tells me a lot about the character of this owner. All positive. read more

Steve is very honest and has wonderful customer service. My washer needed an expensive repair and Steve was honest with me about spending the money towards a new one versus dumping it into the one I had, that possibly could have something else happen to it. I would definitely use him for any other appliance repairs! read more

Steve came out and looked at our wall oven that was giving us an error code. He diagnosed and fixed that issue. Great communication and price. I would recommend. read more

Ok- I have to amend my review. I referred my elderly mother to have her ice maker fix. Steve came out and stated that the ice maker was not turned on and turned it on. He charged a service fee of $65.00. Why would you charge someone a service fee for turning on a ice maker? Well, the ice maker didn't work. My mother called him back out and he worked on the ice maker again and once again charged a service fee of $65.00. The ice maker is still not working. My mother is scared to call him back out because he will most likely charge her another fee of $65.00. So my mother has paid $130.00 and her ice maker is still not working. read more

Great service! Fair prices and he even showed up earlier! Will definitely use again and refer to other people.

When I recently was notified by the tenant in my Fresno home that the dishwasher wouldn't drain, I found Appliance Repair Solutions via a Yelp search. The abundance of 5-star reviews for this company were dead-on accurate! Steve returned my call promptly, made an appointment to investigate, arrived as promised and on time, and was able to immediately fix the problem (broken glass in the drain housing). He kept me apprised by phone, charged a fair and reasonable fee for the work done, and provided a detailed invoice for my records to document the work he did. Since I currently reside in San Diego, it's very reassuring to have found a Fresno area appliance repair service that can be trusted and relied upon! Thank you, Steve, for a great job! read more

Steve showed up first thing in the AM, diagnosed the wash machine problem and returned in an hour ( and I live west of Easton) with the new pump. Super! read more

I called to request an appointment. Our home is in the mountains and too expensive to schedule. The serviceman asked my problem and diagnosed it over the phone. I highly recommend this company. Very helpful and honest. read more

I had Steve out to look at my Subzero, an undercounter refrigerator, and wine cooler. Quickly fixed the Subzero, and determined the problem with the small refrigerator was something that he couldn't fix and the wine cooler was actually operating ok. He was so honest! He could have charged me for repairs that weren't needed. He'll be my go-to guy from now on! read more

I live in Coarsegold. I have an older Lady Kenmore washer that had a washer selector broken. I took some photos and model number I gave to Stephen. He took the time to research the part number and He got right back to me with a quote for the part, labor and travel. I decided that I might as well buy a new machine to replace the old Kenmore, which also had issues with the water temp gauge, I select hot, water is cold. I don't know how old the Kenmore is but my guess is at least 15- 20 years old or more. read more

I chose to contact Steve based on everyone else's reviews & I am glad I did. He was professional, courteous, and reasonable in what he charged me. My refrigerator's freezer is working again & I have no complaints. I will call him again if the need arises. read more

Stephen is awesome! I had a broken dryer and needed it repaired. I contacted Stephen on Yelp, he replied the same day, but I let a week go by because of the holidays and couldn't get away from family stuff. I reconnected with him and he replied quickly and knew exactly who I was and what I needed help with. He and I set a date for him to come out. Over the phone, I gave him an overview of what my problem was, he told me he may have the part in his person but would need to take a real look at the dryer. Turns out it was something else. Stephen made some calls the day he visited, drove in rush hour traffic (on the 41 at 430PM), got the part and came back to my apartment to make the repair. Since then, I've and no problems with my dryer. I truly recommend him because he went out of his way to take care of me and that's the best kind of customer service. read more

Steve took care of the issue with my dryer promptly and was on time for his appointment. he also checked for other issues on the dryer, which potentially saved me another repairman visit. The fee was reasonable and the service was excellent. read more

Great honest service! I have used them 3 different times now and I have had nothing but wonderful service. It's nice that they don't try to sell you something you don't need and go out of there way to give you the best service. read more

Steve is an ANGEL!!! I called him on Thursday 1/2 hour before he closed and he fit us into his busy Friday schedule to fix our leaking Refrigerator! He cleaned up our dirty floor for us, as we are disabled, and is cleaning the coils etc too. Replacing a part and we are feeling so blessed. He is very kind, very patient explaining what the problem is and very fair prices! I definitely recommend him and his company to ANYONE! Thank you Steve Sincerely, Christin Baer Clovis, CA read more

Incredibly fast response to my request for a quote! My washing machine started acting up last night, and I was able to schedule an appointment for today. He arrived within the time frame given (on the earlier side too!), checked out what was going on with my washer, but was up front in saying that it was better to not fix it, because it would be best to replace it due to the age of the machine and the cost of the repairs. He also gave me some good guidelines for buying a new machine so I can get a longer lifetime out of the new one. He was polite and pleasant, I will definitely will be a repeat customer should I need appliance repairs in the future. read more

Very pleased with his work. Came out the same day we called, half an hour early. His prices were very reasonable. I will use him again if need be. read more

Stephen is awesome. He came out on time and accommodated my request for a late appointment, took apart my appliance (fancy and awful brand), and told me he couldn't fix it and even if he could find the part it would be worth it cost wise, he also advised me what new brand to buy. I had a microwave that wasn't popping open and he went out of his way to find a way to make it work when I was ready to buy a new one and was friendly, professional, and honest. read more

I understand now why all of the reviews are 5 star. From the first call, to me having to change a pretty long appointment, to when he first arrived...over and above. Extremely nice, honest and efficient. We found ourselves a lifetime appliance repair company and don't hesitate to look further...he's your guy. read more

Excellent service and reasonable. Fixed washer on the same day that I called! Friendly and gave helpful information! Very happy!

Amazing service! Steve and the other guy (I'm so sorry, I did not get his name) showed up right on time for our next day appointment and were able to diagnose and fix both my washer and dryer immediately AND had all the parts on them necessary to make the needed replacements! Final price was less than the estimate I was given and they were done within an hour and have really helped clean up my washer (it had been sitting for about a month unable to drain, so... gross). Very understanding and chill, extremely competant, obviously very experienced! Highly recommend and will DEFINITELY be sticking with them in the future! read more

You don't need to go anywhere else... I was having problems with my Refrigerator. I called about 4;30pm he set up an appt for the next day! That night my AC went out too!! I called and left a message, and Steve worked me into his schedule the same day. He was very knowledgable and had our dishwasher fixed and mounted correctly (poor job from previous homeowner's insurance repair) within hours! EXCELLENT service! read more

Great (and more importantly) honest service! My disposal stopped working and then effected the draining of my dishwasher. A friend told me I needed a higher horse-power disposal - which I bought. Steve and his brother (didnt catch his name) were on-time, and went right to work. They immediately found that I had some wayward piece of metal stuck in the disposal and removed it. They COULD have just said whatever and charged me more to replace it (I wouldnt have known the difference), but they were honest and recommended I send the replacement disposal back...saving me about $250!! He also moved the drain hose to the proper height, fixing my draining issue. Needless to say, they've made a life-long, loyal customer out of me. THANKS GUYS!! read more

Steve came out on relatively short notice and squeezed us in today. He called me when he was on his way. He had his brother with him (his name escapes me, sorry!). They were very kind and knowledgeable. The diagnosis on our oven was not favorable but they gave us excellent tips on places to go to look for a new oven. read more

Steven was very prompt in responding to my inquiry about our refrigerator not being cold anymore. He told me when he'd come to the house and showed up exactly when promised. Turns out the fan motor needed replacing. The work was done and we had a cold refrigerator just a few hours later! Will definitely call upon ARS again for future needs! read more

Called a few other companies(what a joke) before I found Appliance Repair Solutions I called spoke with Steven and Immediately sensed that he knew what he was talking about quoted me a very reasonable price to come out and look at my microwave He showed up right on time (very rare these days) inspected my microwave and made his professional recommendation including the best places to shop for small appliances. I bought a new microwave and he was able to stop by the next day and install it with no issues. They will defiantly be my go to company for appliance repairs in the future should I need them. read more

Because the fridge always goes out the day before company comes in to town for the holidays! Steve was awesome, answered on the first ring, was at the house an hour later, fixed by mid-afternoon. Price was extremely reasonable and holiday family crisis averted! He even vacuumed an embarrassing amount of dog hair out from the coils under the fridge. I would absolutely recommend them for any and all appliance repair needs. read more
