Mario is great. I called him about an issue with my Samsung fridge's icemaker and he gave me some recommendations on how I could fix it myself to try to save me the cost of having him come over. When those didn't work, he was able to slot me in the next day and came up with an ingenious idea on how to fix the icemaker. The fridge is now fixed and I'm getting ice again. Great guy to work with and would recommend. read more

I called for assistance when they opened and was able to get an appointment the same day. Mario communicated every step of the process. Will use again in the future. read more

Well, Mario is driving home now after saving our company's most important project. I called him in desperation after calling around to other places that thought I was talking about a water heater, not our 10 Ton industrial water-to-air heat exchanger. I called Mario this afternoon and he fixed it TODAY (warning - don't expect that - the fact that he came out at all puts him head and shoulders above the other folks that I had called). He arrived with meters and gauges in hand. He had not seen one of these units before (I believe), but examined it and took a first principles approach to it - identifying every element, not jumping to conclusions. After he was able to add some Freon (first addition in 14 years) in the exact correct amount, the unit jumped to life, remaining stable and being ready for service. Mario was engaging, but focused. While he was working, someone had called him for some advice - something for which it seemed that he likely was not going to get paid - but he unselfishly offered insight while he completed my work. Mario listens - he doesn't go out of his way to tell you how smart he is - he just gets it done and moves on. read more

Mario came and looked at my stove range, listened to my problem, assessed then gave me details on what would be needed to fix. A few days later he came back with the parts and fixed my issue. I'd recommend to family and friends. The repair took no more than an hour. read more

Great service with my old samsung dryer, gave very useful tips, will be the first to call for future appliance issues

Mario the repair technician arrived on time he had given me a Yelp estimate of $35 which turned out to be for the service visit.mario the technician was an amicable fellow and In less than 1 hour he was able to diagnose the problem ( a burnt out temperature sensor. He listened carefully when I explained my concerns about the Yelp app estimate not being Ing clear that it was only for the service call.1When I asked him how much the $fortunately Yelp had a 10% off for the first visit (yay) Yelp! Mario offered to repair the microwave for $180 which I declined. I plan to buy the temperature sensor Mario identified and repair it myself. I wish that I had been notified the increase in price above the estimate. Sensing my frustration mario offered to get the sensor and reassemble the microwave gratis which I accepted. The microwave looks new and works GREAT! THANK YOU MARIO! read more

I called requesting a quote for my fridge that was not working. Not only did he arrive 15 minutes after I called, but he also took the time to walk me through the problem and how to fix it myself if it were to occur again! On top of that he gave me a great price. read more

Our washing machine stopped working & it was on Labor Day weekend. After calling several places that were all closed for the holiday, I came across the Appliance rebuilders repair place. They had good reviews, so I called. Mario picked up the phone right away. He said he was on another job, but as soon as he was done, he could be at my house in an hour. He was there when he said he would be. He fixed both problems we had with the washing machine, explained what was wrong & showed us how he fixed it. He only charged me $80, but I gave him a tip of $20 for the great service, & fast response. read more

Mario is an affordable honest repair man. When our refrigerator stopped making ice and cooling off he came out diagnosed the problem and told us how to fix it. He didn't even want to charge us for the service call. I will call him again and highly recommend his services to all. Thank you Mario you are a pleasure. read more

Mario is a very standup guy. highly recommended I had to other quotes and they were double the price of what Mario charge highly recommend him read more

Mario is great. He is on-time, honest, and skillful. He fixed my commercial ice-maker without over-charging me. Cannot recommend more.

Mario came to my home for the service. He is a very friendly man. He was very professional. He showed exactly what's wrong with my fridge and the part that needed to replace. He even showed it to me in case I want to fix it myself to save me some $$. He fixed my washer pretty fast too. Just by me showing him what is the problem with the machine, he knew exactly what's wrong with it. He fixed my washer in less than 45 minutes. I do recommend him for any home services for appliances. He is very knowledgable. read more

Showed up the same day to take a look at my dryer and gave me a quote. Ordered the part and was back in 2 days to finish the job. Worked quickly, dryer repaired and all at a reasonable rate. read more

Mario is competent and trustworthy He came out in the heat wave to check my refrigerator and showed me that it was my fault the compressor wasn't working. He didn't charge me because I'm an existing customer. Bonus points for responding to my text during the weekend when I was not expecting to hear back until next work week! He's very honest and provided great service on both visits he made to my home. Highly recommended. read more

Mario was so great to work with! My washer wasn't spinning or draining, and my landlord recommended him to me. I called him and he was over within an hour. He explained the potential options and associated costs when he arrived and did a quick glance at the machine. We tried the simple option first, and he identified the issue, fixed it, and BOOM the machine was working again. He took the time to describe what the cause of the issue was, how to avoid it, and extra aftercare to do for the machine before running my first load. I had further questions about other issues I had been having with my dryer, and he explained in detail what was likely the cause, where to get the replacement parts for a reasonable price, and other tips to take care of the machine. Super knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. I highly recommend and will be a return customer. read more

Mario came out and gave me a quick but thorough estimate on the repairs needed on my washer. It turns out that the repairs equal more than what I want to invest in the washer do I will be buying a new one to replace it. I really appreciated his honesty and knowledge. If any other appliance repairs come up, he will be the first one I call! read more

Mario, is the best , we called him and told him the problem we had with our washer machine, he immediately came and fixed it in 30 mins. Anyone who needs help fix simple or repairs definitely give him a call first before calling the big name appliance service technicians. The price on the repair of mine can't find it anywhere else. The best of the West!!!! Keep up the good work, Marion (Super Mario) -Sarn( the homeowner) read more

Mario at Appliance Rebuilders provided outstanding service on a tricky repair issue. Our 20-year-old Thermador downdraft range hood had stopped working. The official Thermador repairman was useless--had me buy several hundreds of dollars of used parts but with no real idea of how to fix things. I called all around for other options and had almost given up on finding someone willing to look at it. (Most appliance repair places do not service downdrafts.). But Mario at Appliance Rebuilder was willing to take a look. He came right out and (unlike the Thermador guy) quickly diagnosed the problem and came up with a plan to fix it. He arranged to come back the next week with an assistant. He spent a busy few hours in my kitchen and crawl space. And he fixed the problem! Before meeting Mario we had almost given up--but now our vent is functional and we're back to having a fully useful kitchen! Mario is smart, reliable, polite, and creative. I recommend him very, very highly. read more

Mario was awesome! Our fridge stopped working 2 days before we noticed. He was quick to respond and offer tips over the phone before the visit given Covid19. Once he was here, he was quick to diagnose and fix the problem. I'd highly recommend him and his business. Thank you Mario! read more

I called three different refrigerator repair companies: one didn't call back; one didn't work on Samsung; and then there was Mario from Appliance Rebuilders. Mario actually answered the phone when I called rather than needing to wait for a call back, and he was able to fit me on the same day. He knew exactly what the problem was with our fridge and was efficient and thorough with the repair. He went out of his way to make sure the glass shelves were properly cleaned when we were putting the fridge back together. Even though it was late and he still had two more jobs to complete, he took the time that was needed to make sure the job was done perfectly. And the price seemed incredibly reasonable for the time and energy he spent ($100 for over an hour). Thank you 5 star Mario! read more

Mario and his assistant were great! They definitely made a bad situation an enjoyable one with laughter and a commitment to fixing our washing machine. I would highly recommend them! read more

Mario called me back during his time off to discuss the issue I was having. I had to completely turn off my water so he acted really quickly where others wanted to schedule appointments for a couple of days out. He understood the urgency and explained what needed to be done, texted a drawing of his proposed fix and provided an estimate. He was hired and came out the next morning to complete the work. He was professional and really worked to make sure I understood what he was going to do. His price was quite competitive and I'm very pleased. Would recommend. read more

We have an Avanti wine fridge that has been problematic for many years. It has a freon leak somewhere, which requires the freon to be replaced every 12 months or so. Mario was the first person to offer to actually detect and fix the leak rather than just replace the freon. It was a fair and smart offer, although we ended up declining because we didn't want to invest that much in fixing a crappy wine fridge. So we ended up having him replace the freon. He was nice, professional, and we think he did a good job. Would use him again and recommend him. read more

Mario was responsive and nice when he first came to diagnose the problem. He even went online to show me what parts maybe needed and where can get cheaper ones. However, upon confirming to his quote, he never called me to give the schedule. I had sent several text and also called him, no answers !When I finally held him on phone on August 8, He then told me he did and he's coming on August 10(last Saturday), frankly I was surprised. On Saturday, I called him around 9:00am to ask when he's coming, he said noon, I waited until 3pm, and called again, he said he would come when he's done with the work on hand. He never show up nor call me to say anything. I don't understand the way he's doing business ! He can call me to let me know if he's not coming, or if he doesn't want to take this business. Not just waste my time to wait for the whole day! I feel like a fool to believe his words and wasted the time to wait for him. update : Mario finally called me this late afternoon and apologized for not showing up on Saturday. He said he could come right away. I asked him if he's serious? as I don't want to be fooled again. He came and started to repair, I can tell he has the skill and knowledge. He also helped to clean the cooktop and underneath. I really appreciate these extra work ! I told him, he has good skill but needs to improve his way of running business. He should call clients if he can't be on schedule. Most people will understand and accept reschedule. I really hope he can improve it ! My stove is working again, thank you, Mario.. read more
