After a growing frustration with it, then checking both Next Door and Yelp, I decided to call Ricardo. He was awesome to chat with about the issue. He was willing to drive out to us and check it, and we were willing to pay the service charge. At his suggestion, he had me text him photos, including the model number and serial number. He called me back a few hours later. He had researched the issue and determined original parts are no longer available. (I had researched separately and had come to the same conclusion.) Ricardo added that in his experience, the aftermarket replacement parts are not the same quality and have been problematic. His recommendation was to plan on replacing the refrigerator if we still wanted that capability. No charge for his time. It was a great experience and highly recommend him.

I found them to be very timely, reliable, and knowledgeable. 10 months ago we had a washer plate replaced in our LG washer and it has been working great since the repair. Today we had a switch replaced on our glass Kitchenaid cooktop. We will call Mighty Appliance Repair again when needed without any hesitation.

    I can't recommend this company enough!…read more The Rapid Repair team fixed my dryer, a few weeks ago. As Anthony, my technician and owner of Rapid Repair, was leaving I mentioned that our freezer had stopped making ice and was leaking water both inside and outside. This is when I found out that Anthony's is certified and licensed specifically to repair refrigerators and freezers! We made an appointment and he came back a few days later and saw that the waterline was clogged and the ice maker motor had gone out. He quickly found the parts and came back a few days later to repair our freezer. The repair took about 45-minutes and stated it was a fairly common issue that happens with just wear and tear; nothing serious. He even helped to reset our water line that was pushing on our condenser fan and make a loud noise every so often. In total, we paid $200 that included parts and labor, which I feel is amazing! Anthony is punctual and gets right to work when he arrives. No chitchat, which I greatly appreciate!

Our washer randomly started leaking (heavily) yesterday. I reached out this morning and he has already come to diagnose. Unfortunately, it's more worth it to replace than repair. His fee included the diagnostic and labor, however since there wasn't much labor other than the diagnostic he was very negotiable with a lower rate. I would 100% use him again in the future if we ever have another appliance issue.

    Tech16 was selected by my home warranty so fix my ice maker. Luis showed up promptly, was nice,…read moreclean, and even temporarily fixed the ice maker until the part he ordered came in. That's where the good stops. Upon getting the part, that he ordered, he showed up at the house to install. He had no conversation with my wife regarding the repair prior to completing it. The very visible part he installed was WHITE, while the refrigerator is BLACK. Luis not only admitted he ordered the wrong part (color), he acknowledged he recognized it prior to the install. Again, no conversation was had prior to install. He then explained the HW may not change the part because technically the repair was made. A few days later he sent a text saying if WE were to order the correct part, he would graciously waive his install fee. He even said that was his way to make it right. He again stressed Henry his o ligation by making the repair, regardless of the incorrect color. He also claimed I was "making this personal" when I asked if he would be happy with such a repair at his home. Luis knew well enough the HW wouldn't correct the issue. Instead of eating the part, because of his error, he chose to attempt to pass that cost to the customer. Absolutely terrible to work with. There is zero chance I would ever recommend this firm, or Luis, on any job.

    I called First American (my home warranty company) with a clothes washer issue. When in the "spin…read morecycle", it would literally bang loudly, buck then stop. First American referred me to a vendor who determined the floor was the problem, but as a courtesy, replaced the four shock absorbers. Shortly thereafter the washer behaved worse than prior to the repair. I called First American again, and was referred to "Tech 16 Appliance". In less than two hours Luis called me, introducing himself as the "owner / operator" of the company. He arranged to visit me the next day. When Luis arrived on time as promised, he formally introduced himself. What instantly differentiated zluid from the first repair individual, was the essence of who he was. My initial thought; here is a caring man who operates from his heart, not his head. Luis asked where the washer was. When he lifted the lid, he noticed the tub was crooked (not balanced). He then carefully pulled the washer away from the wall, exposing the cap located at the top of the shock absorber laying on the floor. He said he had never seen that before. Throughout the entire process, this man explained his step by step solution, thoughtfully educationing me of next steps. Luis's great communication skills, focus and passion exceeded expectation and assured me that he could and would correctly resolve the issue. His repair worked first time. I strongly endorse Luis. As was the case with me, he will deliver as promised. Luis, like the great Tom Brady, is the one to get it done. Choose Luis for your appliance needs, and like me, you'll be glad you did.
