I bought my first home five years ago and since then, had only ever used the same popular local business for repairs. The service was generally fine, albeit expensive, but the issue was always fixed. When my dryer recently stopped working, I called and was told, rather rudely, they were booking out two weeks. I tried Appliance Pros next, and spoke with Chad. He stopped by later the same day, and fixed the problem within twenty minutes. The total fee, including parts, was $30 cheaper than a service call at the business I had previously been using. I'd highly recommend Chad's services to anyone looking for fair, fast and friendly appliance repair. read more

Wonderful service and communication throughout the process. We are an out of state landlord and I called them to fix a dishwasher over the holiday- during a blizzard too. I can't say enough. My husband shattered our glass-top stove. According to the Whirlpool website a replacement was $600. Chad got the part and replaced it for $490. He was on time, friendly, and professional. He vacuumed up all the glass and made sure the burners worked. read more

I called Chad based on the recommendations in Yelp and he was great! He was in touch with me quickly and came either the same day or next day (I can't remember) to diagnose the problem with my washer. He was back in a few days (after the replacement part arrived) and fixed it and it works great. He also gave me some good tips about custom cycles to use and gave me good input about other types of washing machines. I would definitely call him in the future. read more

Chad Is the most helpful and prompt serviceman in the service repair industry I've come across. I called him on a Thursday before the Christmas holiday week, after being let down by another appliance company in our area who couldn't meet their promise to be on time and their delays. Chad was here within 24hours, his work was exceptional, and his prices are extremely reasonable. Easy to talk to, and he explains what he is going to do before he does it. Later that evening my downstairs neighbor came up and we found out the technician did not block the pipe, so water was running steadily into the apartment downstairs and had caused water damage to the floors while my neighbor was at work. I think the technician was high at least half of the unfortunate times I had to work with him. This company may be the most incompetent I have ever worked with for anything. Like I said, I would recommend anyone that they go without an appliance in needed rather than using this company.

I just brought mine in and they replaced the bag, belt, bristles, one other thing and also help me find a replacement attachment for my other one that I cracked. Again, great service. I thought it was extra nice when I saw they were showing their kid the ropes, as this is a family-owned business that has been around a long time. When you look for your next vacuum, I suggest checking out Blow's.

Erik took out the SIM card and cleaned it with a fiber optic pen and voila my phone works. The Verizon store employee did not offer to clean my SIM card or even try a different one which if that was the problem is very cheap. Erik is very knowledgeable and will get the job done .

A lady in the office who was rude form the start stated they would call to set up a time for service. They never called, one morning a tech just showed up and called from our driveway. I watched and listened to him on our cameras complaining and talking/mumbling about how we weren't home. We were told they would call back to schedule another day. After a week they didn't call, so my wife called in and was instructed that they would call to schedule a day. They did the same thing again calling from our driveway. The service tech was frustrated/annoyed that we were unavailable when I talked to him on the phone. I called into the store and was told I had to speak with the service manager but he was away from his desk. 5 hours later he called back. His name was Gary, who is by far the rudest most unprofessional manager I have ever spoken to. After explaining my frustrations with this process now taking almost three weeks he started talking over top of me and down to me. He would not let me say a word and started to yell at me and then he hung up on me so I called him back and he said to me, "we can do this all night." Asked to speak with the owner and then he told me he was the owner and hung up. Do not go to this place or call them they all have horrible customer service, which is driven and taught by the owner.

We had an…read moreissue with our dryer, called up Home Depot, and they issued out a claim with the service provider being Homemakers Villa. Part of the process was that Homemakers Villa was to call us back to coordinate times they would visit but we had not heard anything from them. My wife decided to call them and ask about the status and to get a better estimate of when they will come provide service because she wanted to get laundry done. What she faced was the most incompetent and rude people in all of the Fargo-Moorhead area. The service rep, Lisa, was getting after my wife because the order they received was not complete. She constantly berated my wife in telling her that everything is all wrong and that it was up to us to figure it out. I could hear the nastiness spewing out the speaker of my wife's phone and I had enough of it. At one point Lisa said to my wife, "it just says concession on this. What are we supposed to be consesshing?" Wow....just wow. I then spoke with the manager, Gary, who proceeded to tell me that it's not their job to qualify and validate their order and it was up to me and my wife to go back and get everything squared away. Mind you, they never told us what actually needed to happen. They were hostile and rude and straight up said that "big box stores screw up everything." I informed Gary that I will suggest Home Depot remove them from their service provider list and he said that is fine. Apparently they don't care about their clientele. They don't care about the work that they do. They don't care to do what is needed, let alone go an extra mile. How in the HELL would I EVER trust a company like that to perform any sort of service? In my 20+ years being in or around retail, I've never experience such a terrible experience. If you have to have services provided by this company, do yourself a favor. Call wherever issued the service provider and recommend someone else. Otherwise you are going to be dealing with a situation that is going to make you frustrated and angry. It's remarkable that a company like this still exists in the FM area.

Roto-Rooter is all I'd ever heard of but mostly because of their commercials, not reviews. Looking at some online experiences, people were estimating $300-$400, my jaw dropped! Instead, I first called a local company who didn't give me the time of day and was very rude so I decided against them as well. (A little side note here, I can't stand when you tell someone that you just want an estimate and when they give you one, and you say, "I'm gonna call around and get some more, thank you" they go on the defensive and start bashing every other company in town. To me, that's just childish; tell me what sets you apart from other companies in the area and be dignified about it.) Ok, back on point now... I called A-1 a little past 10:00pm and the man I spoke to (I wish I remembered his name because he was great) gave me an estimate and explained what he thought might be the issue. He answered all my questions and said he could have someone out at 8:15am the next morning. I was surprised because the last place couldn't even get me in the next day. Morning came and Tyler from A-1 showed up on time, assessed the situation and within 5 minutes, was laying down drop cloth and rolling in his machine. About an hour later, he was done and now everything drains correctly. The best part, the price I was quoted, was the price I paid! I won't give specifics, but let's say it was probably a little less than half of what I would've paid with Roto-Rooter. Bottom line, a great local company that knows how to talk to customers on the phone, show up on time, and get the job done at the price that was quoted.

The vent runs east and west on the south side of the room he snakes the plunger north a foot from my daughters room in electric cords running from breaker to her room. How can you claim to clean vents when you don't even put the snake plunger in the vent. It's the simplest and easiest job in the world. I used a coat hanger to pull it ouT grabbing the head of it from the hole In The ceiling. You could've burned down their house by starting and electrical fire or ripped the electric cables out of the breaker. I bet you were pulling hard because the cables were pulled into the truss behind the head of the snake. I pulled the head to the hole in ceiling by door. Look two reviews down. Ashley M. She states he was awful. And he left the snake plunger stuck in ceiling. In pictures over head view of this guys shotty work. And the vent above dryer showing he didn't even stick the snake in the vent. I spent three hours getting the snake out of rafters and away from electrical cables

Our GE refrigerator was freezing up under the deli drawer causing a big sheet of ice to form that would then melt and leak all over the floor. I called a well known appliance repair service that said they would come out the next day but that we would be charged an hourly rate plus travel time. I called Chad and he spent at least 15 minutes with me explaining what he thought was the problem and how to check it out ourselves. He said that if we preferred he would come over but would have to charge us for a service call. Otherwise if what he suggested didn't fix the problem to call him back. Well, that was over 3 months ago and we haven't had a problem since. We will certainly call Chad in the future for any appliance repairs needed! read more

When it comes to service I appreciate someone who is honest and provides great service. Our refrigerator quit the day we got back from vacation, and we needed a quick fix. Chad at Appliance Pros was great. Chad was able to get us in the same day I called. Chad also said he would tell me right away if he could help, or if our refrigerator was a lost cause. Luckily Chad was able to fix our refrigerator. Chad was professional, friendly, and probably best of all, had are part on hand. I will definitely be using Chad again in the future. I received a recommendation to call Chad when my washing machine started leaking from a friend, and am I ever glad I called him! I called Chad on Monday and he was out Tuesday afternoon, took a look at the machine and in less than 5 minutes knew EXACTLY what was wrong and said it was fixable. He even had the part with him!
