If you are looking for an agency to help you find a job...or even return your phone calls, then you…read moreshould probably just go somewhere else. I registered with Express on March 24, 2017. The gentleman that I worked with was very loud and boisterous, like a used car salesman. I knew as I was sitting there that he was selling wolf tickets. He gave me this entire spiel about how they send their very best qualified applicants to what they call their "Top 20" employers (clients) and that with my great resume and experience, there's no doubt that I'd have an assignment within a few days. He said that I'd hear back from him NLT the following Tuesday, but if I hadn't heard from him, I should give him a call. Well, Tuesday came and went and I did not hear from him so I called him Wednesday morning. He was in an interview so I left a message. By Thursday afternoon, I still had not heard back. I called again Friday morning, he wasn't available. I left another message. Did not get a call back. As a matter of fact, it has been nearly 3 weeks and I still have not heard back from anyone at Express Employment.

Waste of time and energy . They will miscommunicate assignments and you'll find yourself working at 5 different places within one week or better yet , only working one day and they expect that to be livable . There is a reason people go through staffing agencies to cut all the extra fluff out but because they have jobs already , your urgency of employment isn't top on their list . Submitting payroll is simple, and all it takes is an email or a quick phone call to make any last-minute changes. They take care of taxes, employee deductions, and anything else that comes up. I say the words, "Thank God for Jessica" (our contact) at least once per month--most recently she caught a typo that I made that would have resulted in one of our employees getting shorted on his paycheck. She is also incredibly quick with her responses, and I usually get a reply within the hour. There aren't words to express how pleased we are with our service, and how much we appreciate Southern Payrolls, and Jessica in particular.

I received a referral from a very respected firm in the area! They go over and beyond the call of duty! They review all documents during my consultation time and make sure all documents are present and if not "WHY and What Changed during the Year for the documents not to be in the package." They educate you on the new tax laws and what is considered a right off and what is not a right off.
