Newly remodeled and clean!! New staff! Food came out hot and flavorful. This place reminds me of what Applebee's used to be. Come visit Sam at the bar or grab a table!! Shocking recovery! read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Shiny new bar ! - American Near Me - Union City, Tennessee

Ordered Takeout. Waited 45 minutes. Got home, and the Salmon was way overcooked with way over salted Broccoli. Linda's "Wings" were cut up Chicken Nuggets. Tried calling the restaurant, and apparently the phone is off the hook now. read more

Not a very good experience. The greeter was mad about someone in the server group, the server disappeared for a while. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. The strawberry balsamic chicken Salad had no strawberries at all. None. The Trio I ordered was cold. The greeter later had dinner herself - from somewhere other than Applebees. If they won't eat there , maybe you shouldn't either? Very disappointing. Probably should be a 1 rating. read more

Said was open until 11 pm doors were locked at 8 pm after driving out of our way to eat

I went and sat down at a table at the bar .. 3 different servers passed by me and the bartender never even acknowledged me being there.. got up and left.. Applebee's DO BETTER read more

Worst Applebee's I have been to. Ended up leaving due to no service, not even a drink order after about 20 minutes of sitting down.

dont understand how this place stays open. There were maybe a max of 6-8 tables seated, we stood at the door waiting to be seated for 7-8 minutes before giving up and leaving. the bartender & waitress both told us someone would be right with us whe we came in. That same waitress walked past us 2 more times before we left after not being seated. read more

This was a nice Applebees! The server was great, very friendly & quick. Beer was cold, food was hot & cooked just right. And it was clean, not rundown, etc. all the things one could hope for when going to this chain. After a long weekend of family & funeral food from the ladies at church.... I Needed a beer & hot chicken sandwich with perfectly cooked bacon! read more

Very poor service! Not even a hello at the door. Not even one worker in sight at this location. As we walked out someone finally got sat at their table. read more

Picked up carry out curbside to go. After waiting 15 minutes past the time noted on my email confirmation, I went inside to get the order. There were flies everywhere, which should have been the first red flag. The food was cold and over salted. Not the Applebee's that I came to know and love in the past. I've certainly will not be back and would not recommend this location. read more

The server was very helpful and on task. He checked on us often and has a good attitude. I think his name was Ethan? Tall, quiet, and well mannered! read more

We like going here to sit and watch the game and have a few appetizers and enjoy the atmosphere period. They always have such a great service and the food is really good and so well cooked. You don't think of Applebee's is having such amazing food but this one does. read more

So bad never eat here the food is not even close to ok and they didn't even get it right . It looks sad on the outside and in side . Save your time and money stay home and make a sandwich. read more

Great Applebee's! Food and service was wonderful. Welcoming atmosphere. 2 for 25 is a good deal.

Went for early dinner with coworkers. Had the bourbon street steak, medium cook. It was cooked to medium but the texture leads me to believe it was frozen then defrosted. The fries were just above warm. I also had the house salad. The salad had a lot of brown edges. With tax and tip $25. Would I go back, no. The waitress was friendly and mostly attentive but because it was not too busy, most of the staff, including our waitress, were sitting around on their phones. Do I recommend? Only if you want that chain restaurant meal. read more

This was our first time here and we weren't impressed. The food was okay but nothing special. It's been a while since I've been to an Applebees and I was hoping it would be as good as I remembered but it wasn't. We ordered the Classic Combo appetizer. It comes with Boneless wings in the flavor of your choice, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Chicken Quesadilla, and Mozzarella Sticks. The wings were very dry, the quesadilla barely had anything inside and the mozzarella sticks were very gummy. The only part that was decent was the spinach artichoke dip and chips. Our sons got the kids pizza and it was extremely greasy. My sister ordered the French Onion soup and she said it had no flavor at all. We were not impressed with the food. I did give it some stars because the waitstaff was very nice and checked on us often but not too often. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. Overall, it will be a while before we decide to go back. I hope they can improve their food in the future. read more

Most of my group got the broccoli chicken Alfredo, needless to say it was tasteless..like noodles in water!! The sauce was watered down so bad and it didnt even look good. Our server was great but the food was awful. This is why APPLEBEE'S is never packed..better get it together before it's to late! read more

We walked in and stood and waited and waited, the staff was all standing around talking and ignoring the people at the door. And it SMELLED AWFUL like something vinegar-y. After about 10 minutes, we gave up and walked out. read more

Restaurant was hot and unappealing. The front door's window is cracked (should have been the first clue). Was seated quickly but waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink. When we got our drinks, they were already watered down. We ordered our appetizer and meals. Waited another 20 mins for our appetizer. Usually either the food comes out about 10 mins after the appetizer but no, we waited almost an hour. The waitress, who was nice, didn't check on us other than to tell us they had to make more tea and the kitchen was behind. The restaurant wasn't that busy so I'm not sure why it was behind. When she brought my husband another tea, she didn't bring me or my daughter another drink. Guests around us had to ask for silverware and the waitress told them she had to give them plasticware. Once we finally got our food and it was subpar. The steak was chewy and stringy and garlicky potatoes and green beans weren't garlicky at all. None of us could finish our food. Def not worth the $115 for 3 people. read more

Rich has been the most attentive bartender! Such a warm welcoming visit! Thanks, Rich!

Had a gift certificate so we thought what the heck. Bad restaurant clues: 1. An unusual, unidentifiable aroma. 2. Dirty tables & booths (crumbs & sticky). 3. No napkins, condiments (except packets of salt & pepper). The 1 star is for the baked potato because the fatty steak & vegetables weren't even worth a gift certificate. The staff was friendly though. Why didn't we just leave? 100% because I was hoping that steak was going to melt in my mouth. read more

Excellent service, food was a bit slow but it was a slow Sunday evening. Waitress was great table touched at least 10 times and the manager table touched 2x. Old reviews appear to have been rectified. read more

It's a corporate place is a small town. Personally haven't had decent services there since I moved to this town 3 years ago. Drinks specials can be cheap. That's the ones upside. read more

Great food, prompt service. First time at an Applebee's in a while but we will definitely be back soon!

We stopped and ate here and everything was great! My Bourbon Steak was fantastic! My only grip would be getting the main course before having time to eat our salads! All else was great! read more

After our 18 wheeler broke down and we were stuck outside in the heat for hours, we stopped into this Applebee's for some lunch and much needed refreshments. The staff here was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious, served fast and hot. Highly recommend read more

Went there today at around 3 pm with my partner, the bartender/hostess seated us quickly. We were the only customers there. Waited 10 minutes. No one came to even ask what we wanted to drink. 10 minutes of waiting + only customers in the building just doesn't add up. So we left. read more

This place was terrible. I went for my 21st birthday and was there Over three hours. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks after the 30 minute wait time to be seated then we received our appitizers before any silverware napkins or drinks were provided. Spoke to the manager and he couldn't care less. THIS PLACE NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT read more

We are here after church. I had a blackened 6oz. Sirloin and my husband had the chicken and broccoli alfredo. We also had the spinach and artichoke dip and chips. Everything was prepared perfectly. read more

Was a little skeptical to eat here because of the stars, but gave it a shot anyhow. Ordered Togo. Food was so good. I got a sirloin and I have the hardest time finding a decent steak, but this one was perfect! Very pleased! read more

My steak strips were cold and the lettuce was wilted the place is really outdated and dirty. Won't be back.

*Since this is a chain restaurant, this review is based on customer service. The food is the same as other chains.* Its probably one of the smallest Applebee's Ive ever ate at. I've been twice three times in one week only to not be greeted at the door and usually wait about 5-10 mins before someone even asks me if I've been taken care of.... so much for customer service. Once at the table the staff and fast and curious, but once you order you food, prepare to wait FOREVER to get it, and I do mean FOREVER!!!! This place also serves as a late nite bar (well up until midnight) which isnt bad if all you want to do is drink. read more

Showed up. Went to table. And it took 10 to 15 minutes for the waitress to come see us. We put in our order. About 5 minutes later I got my drink. Them they came back and said "it will be a minute regarding the food". Well. We asked how long is a minute? They replied well. Our computer is updating so we can't put the order in the system. We asked how long and they said 30 to 45 minute before they would look at our order. Our waitress decided to not even come back to see us when we were trying to pay for the drink I had received. Bad service and bad update times. read more

The only good thing about this place was the server so therefore she gets the stars. She went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was a good one. However, she had to personally wash the silverware to ensure that it was clean. I picked 3 sets and all were filthy and had food still on them. The entryway floor was so sticky and it seemed it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The overall cleanliness of this place was horrible. I'm surprised the health department hasn't closed it down. The food....tolerable. Will I be back? Nope. read more

Monday evening, Union City, TN. April 25, 2022, 8PM, five in our party, two under 16. Nasty booth and seats, old food, crayons and trash nestled behind us in the seats. One Bourbon Street steak with potatoes and broccoli, was burned on outside, raw on inside, never got broccoli. One Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, too strong of seasoning to eat, one order cheese sticks were luke warm, two bowls of soup and salads, soup was refrigerator cold!!!! Vulgar, foul and loud noise coming from speaker over our heads! All was reported to the waitress, she said "well at least you had those salads", walked away with a nervous laugh and returned with our $81.00 ticket! She seemed as though she couldn't have cared less! No apology, just how it made her mad and she was going to let them have it!!! Her name is Lauren. Refills were charged as new drinks at $2.95 each!! We tried to eat what we could but it was just nasty! We left hungry and very upset! Just remove the "grill" from your business name because it's no doubt, just a bar! That stuff we were served is not worthy of being called food! Now we remember why it's been 15 years since visiting an Applebee's! Never again! read more

I have read the reviews for this establishment, that were written before the pandemic, and they were not good. Don't know if they have new management or what changed. I have eaten here twice in last 3 weeks with my wife and parents. It was excellent both times. Food was good and hot. Service was great! We will go back! read more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever experienced at Applebee's. I had to speak with the manager to even get service. I should have walked out then but I decided that the young lady who seated me was going to take care of me when in fact that was not going to be the case. The salad, Oriental chicken salad was the worst I've ever seen and by far the smallest and I did not get the fried chicken but got the grilled chicken which is not what I ordered. I'm just so disappointed and will never ever go back to this facility again. read more

Good sservice.. good food. We come here frequently love it. We mainly get half priced apps

Cold food, waited for too long for refills, sketchy decor and not the cleanest facilities. We are from out of town and thought it would be a safe bet for average food... didn't even meet those expectations!! read more
