Giving Applebees a 5star rating even though it wasn't perfect. We ordered the Two for $26 steak dinners. Onion rings appetizer were great. My steak was perfectly done and tender and juicy. Fiancé upgraded his meal. Unfortunately his steak was fatty and chewy. We alerted our waitress who had the manager come to our table. Manager apologized and removed meal from the bill. So not a perfect meal, but situation was handled perfectly. read more

Friday night, after a movie my wife and I went in for a drink and a snack. 4 other customers were there. We were seated in an area by the windows and the background music was so loud that we could not hear each other. I ask for the music to be turned down and the second time I asked I was informed that corporate would not allow the music to be adjusted. Good value and good menu selection. I go to Applebee's maybe two or three times a year. Last week, me and a friend of mine were coming home from a trip and we decided to stop at this particular Applebee's. Like any suburban Applebee's, the parking was easy. We were promptly seated. The menu had a wide variety of items. Service was average, may be a little sub par. The food quality was decent. What struck us was when we got our bill we couldn't believe how cheap it was. We had salads, appetizer, and main entrees for $23 a piece, including tax and tip. Applebee's was quite a deal for a decent meal. The key question we discussed going home was, "Would we drive 20 minutes to go back to this Applebee's again?" The answer was yes. I must admit after making the rounds of chain restaurants, this one was the best. Outback, Chili's, Cracker Barrel, all had major problems. A completely burnt burger at Chili's, cold raw center of my steak at Cracker Barrel (ordered it medium), terrible service and tiny little portion at Outback. I had the sirloin at Applebee's and it was perfect, cooked right and very tender, vegetables were cooked right, and for $1 more I got a plate of shrimp. They were great too. Waitress was so alert and was taking care of the area I was in like a champ. The manager was making the rounds and monitoring the whole operation. When you walk in it is a typical Applebee's, like the local decor and etc. We were seated pretty quickly. But the waitress we had took awhile to get to the table. In addition she never refilled drinks. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. I ordered medium rare and received medium well (closer to well)-see picture. The green beans were so over cooked they were on the verge of being mushy. The mashed potatoes were decent, good flavor. They are chunky mashed (just FYI). I also ordered dessert, the triple chocolate meltdown. That dessert was probably the best part of the whole meal (hence 3 stars instead of 2). I realize you don't go to Applebee's for a five star meal so I feel my expectations were realistic coming into this. I've been going to apple bees since I can remember. The food we received today was inedible! I dined in and had multiply flys trying to land on our food I don't ever remember the food tasting this bad. Almost like it had gone bad. I like the Asian wings and they were nothing like they were a couple months ago. I could say so much more but take my word RUNN from this place just imagine how many flies are in the kitchen! Second takeout order in a row that has gone poorly. Last week given the wrong meal and had to return from home to swap. Could not comp because the purchase had been rung out? Could not credit account. Asked me to wait while they gave my gift card but could not because entire meal break was spent driving back and forth. I usually love Applebee's. Almost any of their stores the atmosphere and the food are pretty good. Now to this store, one in ten. What I mean by that is this location manages to get one in ten meals close enough to be called ok. After visiting this location many times I have become convinced that their grill cook was trained in a crematorium. Solidly, 1 in 10. If you order a steak rare it comes mid well, mid rare equates to well done, and usually the sides are cold by the time you get them. As for tonight's visit we tried a new concoction consisting of grilled chicken Brest, mozzarella sticks and covered in a sauce very loosely posing as marinara sauce. Yes I realize you don't go to Applebee's for fine Italian dining. Burnt. The chicken was so over cooked I needed a steak knife to get through the meat. The mashed potatoes, well a tad more water and we would have had a lovely soup. The garlic green beans were raw, had no garlic flavor and were beyond salty from some seasoning and bacon mixed in. I have been to applebees in many areas and states. Have never had bad service or a bad experience this visit, i waited 30 minutes just to be asked if i wanted a water. The waitress was also clearly in a frenzy and even verbally said we would not be receiving good service. I would not come back to this location again i would rather go to mcdonalds read more

I waiting over an hour for my food and still didn't get it. My son who is 2 was getting restless waiting. the waitress took my order around 2:00 and at 3:10 still nothing. This is very ridiculous. We usually stop at Apple B's as a travel staple but I have to say after visiting this one my stomach turned a bit. The service was slow and not really helpful. Once the food was served she only reappeared after one of us got up to get her attention. The problem: half a stick of butter on top of the steak. Ummm yuck! The other entrée ordered was ok. After dinner I got up to go to the restroom and nearly slipped on the very greasy floor from the kitchen to the dinning room. Mind you the bathroom floor was probably mopped with the same non-grease cutting formula. Need I say the bathroom was filthy. Taking another path to exit through the dinning room I realized how in total agreement with another post on Yelp that this place would not pass the Health Inspectors review. Food was okay. Not bad for the price. Wouldnt reccomend the brunch burger unless ya reallyyy like eggs. Our cheese dip came out a little less than warm but our server corrected it right away. Went here with my 6mo daughter and my parents. My daughter was in a high chair next to our booth. Towards the end of the meal our waiter and the hostess pushed the tables that are right across the aisle from us to seat a large group.. this would not have been a problem if my daughter wasn't sitting in the high chair. The large group made it impossible for people to use the aisle (which is right in front of the bathroom so people had to take the long way) the wait staff would carry trays of hot food over my daughter's head and try to squeeze through. A man using crutches couldn't get by so he was forced to go the long way to his table. We were very upset about the fact that they were putting our daughter at risk of being pushed over or having something dropped on her. We left very quickly and a woman on the wait staff came over and apologized and said they aren't even suppose to sit big groups there. We explained to her that if they really needed to put them there we would have been happy to move but it made our dinning experience very unpleasant and frustrating. Seriously just awful. I brought my family here during a soccer tournament weekend because the hotel offered a deal and it was a disaster. Literally the only thing that tasted good was the mozzarella sticks we ordered. We waited forever to have our order taken and the whole place was very unorganized. They forgot half of my daughters order, brought the wrong drinks, and the steak my wife ordered was grey and the strangest looking chunk of gristly meat I have ever seen. Totally inedible. My wife is from Italy and likes to experience new places here. She kept asking to go to an Applebee's because we see them everywhere. She no longer asks to go Applebee's anymore. read more

i have heard this place called Craplebees in the past and not wanting to experience the crap i have stayed away. my exhusband worked for one many moons ago and said that their food was really sub-par so i have stayed away. it is a chain. so i have stayed away. but. today i had lunch with my new boss here as my Welcome to work lunch. and i was pleasantly surprised. it really isn't all that much crap. the service was great. our server was very nice and attentive. the food offerings on the menu were quite typical of a chain but still surprising. they had a pecan encrusted chicken salad that kathy had that sounded (and according to her, tasted) quite yummy. and i had an oriental chicken salad that too was nice. the dressing was light and not poured on aggressively. and i was offered more if i wanted. all in all, i would say that it isn't Totally Crap. and i would go back. (of course 5 guys is in the same plaza so it would have to be special circumstances but...) better than TGIF and it's ilk. yay for not getting 2 stars. read more

Terrible location. Love Applebee's. The chain has come a long way by modernizing locations and menus. This location was modernized but not managed. Took 5 minutes to be greeted at the door. 5 minutes to have drink order taken. 5 minutes to receive drinks and order. I ordered a soup and salad and requested to start with the soup. 15 minutes pass. No soup. I reminded the waitress that I wanted to start with the soup. She said OK. Then she goes to the computer and rings in the soup and immediately goes to kitchen to retrieve it. So she forgot, and voila, salads come out after that. Drinks remained empty the entire meal with no visit. from waitress. Entire dining experience was over an hour. It appeared that no management was in sight. I will continue to be a loyal customer, but never at this location. read more

My boyfriend got the quesadilla burger, but where was the patty? They put a slider on it, so it was all tortilla. He told the waiter and when he received a new one, it was the right size this time. I only go to this Applebee's on Wednesday nights for Trivia, which I think is a nice fun offering that they have. They have great specials on Trivia night - some of which are typical of any weeknight - like half priced apps after 9 - and certain drink specials. The food can be hit or miss. Portion sizes are not always even from week to week on things as simple as how much fries you get with your dish. Most servers are very good - typically you see the same servers for Trivia - usually now we have one waitress, Sarah - who is fantastic - takes care of anything and everything you need. read more

The entire experience was fantastic from the minute we walked in the door. It was 4:57 and the sign on the window stated the early dining menu ended at 5. There was the hostess and two men with nametags standing at the podium discussing the evening to come. They stopped talking immediately to welcome us. I asked who was in charge tonight and Al said he was. I asked if we could still order off the early dining menu, and he said yes and to let our waitress know Al ok'd it. We were seated and our waitress Rachel came immediately over and took our order, even helping us with substitutions on what we were ordering, since we are watching our carbs.
