When we got there it was packed but only took 15 minutes to get seated. We almost immediately ordered and it took us 45 minutes to get our food. We weren't worried about how long it took. When we did get our food it was soooo scrumptious. I definitely recommend the combo because it isn't an extraordinary amount of food even though it looks like it. Hello everyone - really, what am I missing? I still stop in to my local Applebee's Grill + Bar for the wonderful late-night happy hour. How could I not be happy? The full-sized appetizers are half-price and they have a selection of adult beverages on special. Due to my work hours, I am grateful I have a place to stop and eat in the later hours of the day; I am grateful for the good food and drink that doesn't break the bank! I sit at the bar and the service is good! I have had 3 different bartenders over the past couple of weeks and they have all been great! The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. There are TVs everywhere broadcasting whatever sports happen to be on at the time. I look forward to unwinding at the Williamstown Applebee's after a long day. Our waitress was non existent. Asked 3 times for a water. Walked by us a few times never looking our way. Finally brought water as we were paying. Never asked if we needed boxes and I would have liked to take the rest of our food home bc i couldnt finish it all. Walked out with no food and no 'bye- have a nice night' or anything. We've been coming to the Williamstown location for years. This recent month I came in with my daughters twice. The appetizers were terrible. The wonton tacos were cold and the shell was not shaped normally and it wasn't even holding the food right on the inside. My daughter's kids meal came out 20 minutes later. Tonight we decided to give it one more try. My husband and I both ordered the 8oz steak medium done. My husband's was perfect and mine was not cooked all the way. It looked completely raw. read more

If i could leave less than 1 star, I would. The past several times we have been here, the wait and kitchen service have been declining. We gave it one more shot tonight, since it is close and our family was together after more than a year apart. My husband's "pink" burger arrived extremely well done. We sent it back. After 20 minutes of waiting for him to get his dinner (our sons and I had been served our meals about 30 minutes prior), we asked for his meal to be canceled, paid our tab, and left. At the Mays Landing, NJ location, the food did not disappoint but the service was even more outstanding! Not long after we arrived, our waitress was swamped with non-stop arrivals. The manager, Brent Yants, was more than helpful not only to my husband and I, but also to other customers as well. Lexie was our waitress and was polite and friendly. The food was good until I went to package it up. in my cheese was a long hair. Lexie tried to do everything to help. The manager did even come out to speak with us at all. We received a coupon for a free dessert that we won't use. I'm not much of an Applebees fan to begin with however, I've had great experiences with certain locations, this was not the case here. First off, service from our server Dallas was pleasant. He was attentive, friendly and checked in with the table frequently throughout our visit. We ordered a Shark Bowl beverage and was quite surprised to see it brought out the way pictured below. Not only was it lacking normal color (due to it being excessively watered down) but the glass wasn't even full. We also had to ask for the gummy sharks, not a big deal though for those. Wings/burgers were as you'd expect, flavor was there, cooked well but unfortunately the fries were tasteless & cold. Unlike Dallas, the same words wouldn't define the unprofessional behavior conveyed from one of his colleagues. A server (blond hair, pulled up in a bun) was openly bashing/criticizing another employee while talking to her table. This wasn't one comment, it took place for 20 minutes, all while that side of the restaurant was full of customers, very easily being subjected to hear every detail of how her coworker performs poorly at her job. Completely unnecessary and clearly shows the incapabilities of upper management handling their employees. Whether they don't pay enough attention or just blatantly disregard situations like this, your staff should be trained on what not to say in front of customers. From comparing other reviews, this branch is certainly failing in more than one aspect for good reason. To conclude, I won't be back to this place, there are much better places up the road to find that will be worth your time. read more

I don't know why everyone talks so badly about this location. I came in with a party of 3 during the dinner rush on a Friday night and didn't even have to wait! I usually go to Deptford location, but I decided to give this one a try. My serve Matt was very kind and attentive. The food was pretty good and the GM even came out to greet us. She was so funny and nice! I recommend you give this location a try. The staff is highly welcoming and kind. The place was also pretty clean. No complaints here! read more

Horrible experience never coming again! So last night when we went to this applebees the three of us, my parents and I all got the same thing the new beer batter cheese, steak and when my dad cut into his blood came rushing out all over his plate! My mom could hardly cut into her piece of meat because it was complete grisle, and you could take your finger and stick it in the nasty beat red meat and it be freezing cold like it just came out the freezer. Came here with my brothers and sisters with our significant others. Walked in at 11:19 on a Friday night came here because it said on the website they closed at 1 am. Soon as we walked in hostess with long red box braids told us " please be mindful we are closing soon" not even a hello welcome nothing. It was really awkward definitely not warming. i was confused because I thought maybe it was our mistakes so I looked up the time again. it said 1 am so I asked nicely if they had changed the time or something because online said something else. She says and I quote " when it's not busy we close early" made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. She then processes to pound our silver ware on to the table. A second group came which looked like she knew them it was nothing but giggles and smiles with them.. also didn't look like they got the same "warm" treatment we did. This is probably the last time we go to Applebee's in Williamstown.... we both ordered the 3 course meals, our salads had barely any dressing on them, our appetizers (spin artichoke dip) had no cheese on top when it usually does and the boneless wings were not covered completely with the sauce- then we were served our entrees, the BBQ brisket tacos were COMPLETELY cold and so was the fries! The whole time we were here we were watching the table next to us send back their food 3 times, I didn't want to bother my waitress, bc I, myself am one. So, I really like Applebee's as a restaurant chain, but this location is absolutely terrible. They don't even provide you with the right amount of food you're supposed to receive for each dish, especially when ordering car side to go, I usually get the 4 cheese pasta and honey lemon pepper chicken(it's super delicious) but they don't even cover the bottom of the carry-out container and or plate with the pasta. Very cheap for this location, considering how busy it gets. They should know how to order depending on their schedule and how busy it gets, so that's not an excuse. Would not recommend, especially on busy days/nights. read more

But somehow they never forget to upcharge for added items. This applebees needs to be shut down. Nothing but disappointment time after time. Two of us ordered a 2-orders-for-$25 special, of which one of those orders was ribs. Additionally, one of us ordered fish and chips and substituted sweet potato fries in place of the chips. When all the orders arrived 45 minutes later, the ribs and the sweet potato fries were burnt. When we complained, the waitress said she would call the manager. The manager showed up almost half an hour later and said "We'll replace the ribs, which should take 10 minutes, and the sweet potato fries will take 2 minutes." We said that instead of the ribs, we would opt to have a sirloin instead. The replacements only arrived another half hour later, and by that point we had just shared the fish and chips order to satiate our hunger. Because of a lack of appetite due to how long we had been there, we asked for to-go boxes and the bill. When the bill arrived, not only had they still charged for the 2-for-$25 deal, but they charged an additional $11.95 for the sirloin. We called the waitress again, and once more she said she would call the manager. We said not to call him, because we didn't want to see him again; the manager is the real problem here. When all was said and done, the only compensation we received was removing the already bogus additional charge of $11.95. A good manager would have removed the charge for the original order that was burnt, or perhaps provided some other kind of monetary compensation, given the outrageous amount of time we spent here. Unless the management changes around here, we can't recommend this Applebees to anybody. read more

I placed an online order for pickup and was told my order would be ready by a certain time. I arrive early for the pickup in acknowledgement of the busy nature during the pandemic. However sitting in the parking lot for over 2 hours is a bit much. I wasn't the only one either, another person had been there for over 4 hours waiting for there food. Food is typical chain food so I don't get too adventurous with ordering. Stick with the burgers, appetizers, etc. Service is a bit poor but car side is wonderful. Food is always packed correctly and it's nice not to have to pile out of the car with kids in tow. read more
