We decided to stop at our local Applebee's after my grandmother's funeral to have a chance to catch up and get a bite to eat. There were 8 adults and2 children ages 6 and 2. The restaurant was not busy, we asked to be seated at tables instead of booths so it would be easier for us to move around. They made the yound man that greeted us go and sit the room up, well he did but it was 100° outside and about 90° in that room. He asked the manager to turn the air on and she said couldn't, so the young man, my son in law and nephew went and helped him fix a new set of tables. We grab our menus and heading to the new area (much cooler). So we sat there about 20 minutes waiting on our waitress to come get our drink and appetizer order. Finally she took the drink order for my end of the table, but she took the drink and appetizer order for the other end. So, half of us got drinks and the other half got drinks and appetizers. When I asked why our appetizer order wasn't taken she responded "you could have order with your drinks". I WASN'T ASKED IF WE WANTED APPETIZERS!! But I kept my cool. After about another 20 minutes we got out dip and chips had to ask for plates and silverware. We ordered our food which for 8 people was not a difficult order. We sat there talking, a few got up and went outside to smoke, my sister drove to Wal Greens and picked up some medicine and a few things. STILL NO FOOD!! So finally After we told them if we didn't have out food out in five minutes we were going to leave. Well our food came out. Boneless chicken wings were raw, to ppl in our group noticed after eating a couple. Green beans taste like rubber with sugar on it. 3 of the adult plates were ok but by the time we got them we were aggravated and wanted to leave. The kids food was good, but you really can't mess up microwave pizza and French fries. Drinks were good. Shout out to the bartender (he brought us our drinks to the table because they sat on the bar ready for so long and he apologized to us). Oh and we asked for steak sauce 5 times and never got any. Now finally our waitress was alright she did a good job trying to help us, but I will say 5 different tables came in was served and gone before we got our food. Two 4 top tables 3 ladies at the bar drank and ate before us, 2 gentlemen that sat by us and another 4 top with a child, ordered ate and left. In conclusion there was a waitress named Destiny that was extremely rude, rolled her eyes talked under her breath. You could tell she is just naturally rude. When we asked for the stesk sauce the third time she just turned and walked away. I guess she or someone went and got the manager and she came to our table and asked is everything was okay, i told her the issues about our food and we expressed how our waitress and the bartender was good. But then i told her Destiny was rude as hell, she seemed so shocked. Asked if she was rude "here?". I told her yes she is rude and unprofessional. I guess that enough complaining for today. We were willing to give Applebee's another try tonight and they disappointed us again. We went early because we were going shopping afterwards. They seated us and had plenty of menus and specials on the table. We had time to find what we wanted and decided on entrees. But, all the servers were too busy talking at the bar to notice that we were ready to order. Not only did we not get greeted in 20 minutes but the host said "thanks, have a good evening" on the way out the door! I'll first start by saying Justin, our server, was wonderful and accommodating. However, that does not make-up for the poor quality of food we had to endure. A main complaint was our appetizer; we ordered the pretzels and cheese dip. The order came out with nearly no cheese dip in a large bowl. We asked about this and the our server said that it was the correct portion. We asked to return the appetizer as the portion was laughable for the price. That's when he brought out another bowl of cheese dip, effectively solving our problem. Unfortunately, the bowl was plastic and the cheese promptly melted the bowl right in front of us. The service was right on the money, but the presentation of the food and its execution was off (by a large margin). Corporate needs to get this store some help. read more

This is your basic chain. It's clean, the service at the bar is the absolute best. My boyfriend & I got the dumplings which were ok. And the cheese sticks which were great. I was so excited when we came here to find something familiar. We eat there often in our home town. The lady behind us was having an issue with something on her cup and drink, they left without eating. We had to wait forever on our food and then when it came out it looked gross. We told her we could not eat this and they should be ashamed letting this out of the kitchen. This restaurant needs to be checked by the City and who ever owns this needs it to be closed. There's no excuse, I've eatin at Applebys all over the US and other than bad service I've never seen food like this. Never offered to fix it and then charged me for the fries which were subpar. I know someone is gonna get sick here. And yes I took pictures The beans are almost clear and are very brown on the ends. The others were not cleaned and the carrots were white, almost dehydrated. Food and service was unbelievably disappointing! Food was served, husbands fries were the bottom of the fryer basket crumbs. They brought his burger to the table and stated they would bring more when they cooked more.. what? Why even bring it to the table like that? While at the table 10mins later bringing the fries, they asked if he would like more Pepsi, he stated yes.. the same server refilled the neighboring tables twice with drinks and never brought my husband another one. As an appetizer he got boneless wings.. he asked for them not to be hot, just wanted plain. Server agreed to this. When brought to the table they were covered in Tabasco hot sauce.. we sent them back, they brought them back and stated that was the only "mild" ones they have. What?? Omg?? We were also told you had to TELL the server you wanted it "express". lol what's the point of it having its own page on the menu that says EXPRESS LUNCH OPTIONS?
