Sat down on a Tuesday night and didn't see the waitress for about 5-10 minutes. Finally the waitress came and took drink orders. Took about 10 minutes to get a simple beer. Also ordered a mix drink and a random worker came and sat it down in front of me, didn't say what it was or even ask. I asked what it was and it was like I was the biggest inconvenience in the world to this lady. Finally got food order and it actually came really quick. Saw a manager start walking around and the overall service improved so If you don't see that expect mediocre. read more

Applebee's in Easley has decided to join the ranks of the liberals we just voted out of office. They have elected to violate our Second Amendment rights. There is now a NO CONCELED WEAPONS sign in the lobby. After speaking with the manager, he stated that they had a situation with a customer with a gun. The manager is strongly convinced that the sign would have stopped the bad guy. I am a Veteran and have appreciated the treatment by Applebee's over the years. We arrived at 4:45 on a Sunday and were immediately seated. The staff was all friendly. The restaurant was clean and dimly lit. All of our food was cooked perfectly and came out hot. Our drinks were always refilled without us having to ask. The reviews had us worried, but we had a pleasant experience- we were a party of two with a toddler. read more

I went to lunch today, I got off early and had lunch with a co worker. I had the four cheese mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken strips. This time it was much better. For an appetizer we had the spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips. I'm really not a fan of artichoke, but it was ok, not Copper River's spinach dip by any means, but it was alright for Applebee's. The pasta was cooked to more than just al dente and the tenders were crunchy, but tender on the inside. Very hit or miss. The food is always decent and the restaurant clean. Service is also usually pretty good. The problem is being seated. Twice now, both on weekends, I've been put on a wait list with ample seating available. Tonight I counted 13 open tables and booths. Not sure why there was a wait at all. read more

I recently ordered a DoorDash order from Applebee's in Easley South Carolina and it was probably one of the worst experience ever. The Whiskey hamburger meat tow days old and there was no whiskey sauce on the burger. I paid for extra crispy onions and got a ramekin of sour cream. The french fries were cut in half and tasted like they had been sitting in something all day long the smallest french fries I have ever seen. The donuts I normally get when at the restaurant is like overflowing with powdered sugar. Hey y'all. If you want a nice casual fun family dinning experience DONT GO HERE ON THURSDAY NIGHTS!! Normally I would say this is the best food and service of any of the local Applebee's I've been. But tonight Thursday night was like going to a full on bar complete with drunk lady walking the entire place with two bottles of beer. Karaoke so loud you can't hear yourself talk and people dancing the full circle of the bar!!! What the absolute what. Applebee's turned into a honky tonk overnight!!! This can't be good for business. NO ONE WANTED TO SET IN THE SECTION BETWEEN KARAOKE SET UP AND BAR. Music was so loud we couldn't even hear the waitress speak and she couldn't hear us either. Robert B, karaoke on Thursday night has been an event at the Easley Applebees for the last 12 years. It didn't become a "honkytonk" over night nor is it now. The singing takes place on the far side of the restaurant and the loudness is controlled to that area although music can be heard throughout the restaurant. not sure about the drunk lady walking around but Applebee's staff does a great job controlling anyone causing a distraction whether drunk or not. patrons are encouraged to attend the Thursday night Karaoke and many regulars do just that. Music can always be turned up or down just by asking. While karaoke is not your cup of tea, it means a lot to others. I tried the new chicken fiesta bowl at Applebees and asked for the rice to be on the side and I wanted extra veggies. I got my order curbside and the server came right out with my order. She reviewed what I ordered with me but what she said was wrong. She went back in with my order and about 5 minutes later the manager came back out with my order and asked me what and how did I order and I told her. The order was right the first time. The food and drinks were good, however we ordered the "$6" Special drinks. I wanted sugar on rim and husband salt. The server came back about 10 minutes later stated that something was wrong with the system and that they would be $6.50. We said fine. We get the drinks and they are not the $6 drinks. Not sure how many times we stressed $6 drinks and to make it even worse, there is no salt or sugar on the rims. She asked if we wanted her to bring to us to put on the glasses. Who does that? So my husband tells her no we want you to take them back. She appeared very annoyed and when we realized that she didn't know which drinks we were referring to, my husband goes to the bar and informs her of the ones that we wanted were the frozen ones on the website. Another thing she did not ask. So, I take it she was frustrated and had the manager come over to the table and she "Liz" asked my husband if we knew what we wanted. I guess the server didn't inform her that she had asked if she could bring the salt and sugar over so that we could garnish our own glasses. Not sure about you, but I've seen too many show where the staff is suppose to know what the specials are. The server didn't ask had we been there or not. Did not state the specials. Anyhoo, I went to the manager because we were just going to leave and go to the other one that was not to far away. She insisted that we stay and she would get us another server. This location is good! My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday afternoon, and really enjoyed it. Our server was quick, attentive and friendly. I would have to say, it's rather over the top to first get mediocre service. Then when you need something the employee's act like its a chore to them. I get that it's late to a degree, if its too late for you to work then don't work second (2nd) shift... When you tip you tip, right ? People get normally what they give.. To finish this, you go to have a breathe of air before You completely finish everything. Well, while you're outside you get checked on... I'm not a teenager, so I don't walk out on bills.. Ok, put that to the side, then not even 300 seconds later (5 minutes) the restaurant manager has to come "check" on you? What is going on here? Seriously? We like Applebee's but disappointed in our experience this evening at the Applebees in Easley SC. The electronic gadget at the table to pay was a terrible experience. The instruction on it's use was missing, & nor clear. We finally had to call the waiter to try to pay our bill. Surly they can get a service rep to revise it, and make it clearer. Our small steaks seemed to have a lot of grissel,& we had to leave 25% on the plate. We are both over 60, but spent a lot of $ at the restaurant. Our server was friendly but charged me 2.49 for club soda. That is the first time I have ever been charged for such in my life and I didn't even get offered a refill. My spouse and I ordered the 2 for $20. They brought our entrees out, but not our salads. Server was totally confused when we asked about them, though she took the order. I went to Applebee's in Easley for an early dinner around 4pm. There were only three other tables with customers. The "loaded" garlic mashed potatoes had the consistency and taste of instant potatoes. "Loaded" consisted of a pinch of cheese, a few crumbles of bacon and a dab of sour cream - and was an extra charge. The broccoli was steamed to mush and the salmon had no taste whatsoever. Bread sticks were decent but (again) an extra charge. I had one glass of tea (also extra charge) and was not offered a refill until I was ready to leave.
