I got car side to go a few months ago and waited so long, finally I had to call and they came right out so I assumed this was a one time deal. Inside once, same scenario. Long waits and it wasn't even busy! Today I ordered car side again, I waited over TWENTY MINUTES past my scheduled time my food was supposed to be ready and not a soul in sight. We met some friends there and Sat at the bar-Lizzy was our Bartender and we had the best service! So happy and great customer service. Being in the industry almost my whole life-it's rare to find such an amazing bartender who sincerely cares about her customers. We will be back to see her!! This is a Local restaurant chain. I Placed my order online. When I Arrived went inside because I had to use the restroom. I was greeted and provided my name. Use the restroom while they made my to go Margarita drink. When I came out I only waited a moment. I noted there was a computerized check-in for takeout that I did not use because I didn't realize it was there. I ordered the chicken penny pasta, The Oriental chicken salad, steak with a side of broccoli and margarita. And not go in farther than the pickup window. I can't speak to the ambiance of. I looked crowded for an afternoon evening and the vibe felt fun. Overall clean, well it, and smelled good. I think Applebee's is a great deal when you need a meal and drink quick on the go. I've been to Applebee's quite a few times and it's usually a hit or miss. Their happy hour + $5 sips are a great value. This location has been consistent with their quality. This Friday night was one of the best meals we've had at Applebees. Service was incredible, food came out quick, music wasn't blasting, and the food was phenomenal. Loved that they added the boneless wings as part of their happy hour at this location. Christmas drinks were tasty as well, but beware as it's not always consistent with how strong it is. read more

Stopped by the Applebee's near Marketplace Drive in Caledonia for a drink and a bite to eat. We sat at the bar with our bartender Jenn waiting on us with a super-nice warm welcome. Jenn made us a specialty drink...man was that a damn good drink! There was a full bar, yet Jenn kept her cool demeanor and she was pretty attentive to everyone she was serving. It's 10 pm and just leaving Applebee's and if you want good food you may want to visit another location. This location is in Caledonia,MI. Had to send my mozz sticks back to be re-cooked and I didn't want chopped tomatoes on my hamburger. I ordered from Applebee's through door dash at 8:13pm. My dasher (who has no fault in this) picked it up the minute it was done at 8:19 and drove to my house. They arrived at 8:31. I don't know why or how my "tacos" were FREEZING cold. This is not the dashers fault seeing as they got the order right when it was done and I only live about 10 mins away from Applebee's. This is ridiculous. If you live in the Grand Rapids Area, DO NOT go nor order from Applebee's on Marketplace. They look like a literal child made them. Actually, that would be disrespectful to children everywhere to be honest. But what can you expect from a place that floors are a sticky mess, they're tables are hardly ever properly cleaned and on top of that, the employees don't have the best attitudes and personal hygiene given there thick and often peculiar smell. In the end, I guess I was the dummy for even giving them my service and money. Never again. I went to this Applebee's on December 23rd because I was out shopping with my family and I didn't want to go home and cook. The restaurant was not that busy when the hostess (if that's what you want to call her) sat us. After waiting about 15 min waiting for someone to serve us, we left. 2 families came in behind us and got served right away. Apparently the hostess didn't tell anyone to come and serve us. Picked up curbside to go. I have not gone to this Applebee's in a couple years because of the service and they constantly got orders wrong and didn't pay attention. I made the decision to try it tonight. I should open every single package before I leave there because once getting home, one of the orders was wrong. Why have the options list to add or remove something when ordering online if they're not going to read it and follow it.? Needless to say we had to throw that item out. Andy- Manager He is exceptionally rude and unfriendly to talk with. Today is the Lions playoff game. When the Lions fans at the bar cheer he comes out and not asks, but bitches for them to quiet down. Excuse us? This is the Lions and the Playoffs. When questioned he won't explain himself like an adult. He mumbles under his breath and then asks the bartender to quiet the bar area down. This is not the first time. In understanding he has no respect from his staff either. In my opinion to keep this restaurant in the good graces of our avid Detroit fans he needs a check and balance from his superior. I'm new so This will be my first time using Yelp. So I can put a fully review about Yelp after receiving my food. My ratings about Applebee's is sometime your service is not very friendly. At one time or another I receive the wrong order tried to call and the manager under the store manager Was kind of rude. So the manager the next day I spoke with stated he would leave a gift card on the managers desk in their office and when I called there was no gift card that was left for me. Weren't seated in any of the 5 empty booths or tables had to wait 10 minutes for the kitchen to "catch up". Walls and menus had chunks of food stuck to them. Small black hair found in my daughter's ranch dipping sauce. Very dirty gross restaurant overall won't ever go back to this one. read more

Applebee's is the restaurant I go to to catch up with my friends. There's many different options on the menu, so it is good for everyone. I love that there's also a bar, and that it's kid friendly. Food is always really fast, there are always plenty of helpful servers. It's perfect for lunch or dinner. read more

Since my initial review of this Applebee's location, it has become a regular place for us to go when we aren't looking for any surprises, just good food and a nice atmosphere. We visit this Applebee's once a month, at least, and it is always a pleasure. I recommend the three cheese chicken penne, and the lime chicken. Hubby tends to go for fish and chips. The spinach artichoke dip is very good, as is the appetizer platter. For drinks, hubby recommends the Purple Rain, and I flip-flop between the sangrias, and the Main Street Rita Freezes... the Mango Strawberry swirl one is the bee's knees! So We usually go here as a go to dinner for the family. However this last time we went our server was so slow then they brought our appetizer where he look like he just dumped a whole jar of barbecue sauce on the tenders it was absolutely awful I got one refill my husband had no meat on his ribs it wasn't even beef jerky at that point. I understand the age of Covid has changed a few things, but our experience was totally out of line! Having a deaf/blind daughter, I am her eyes, ears & guide. While carefully navigating around a large group of people outside, we, as a masked group of 3, entered the roped off lobby area. BEFORE even asking about our party size, I was reprimanded by the hostess that I was not practicing proper social distancing,!! My misstep?? I had guided my daughter on my arm into the restaurant. (The white cane was being used, as well)! I explained to the hostess that my daughter was blind & I was her guide, but she did not care. "Well, that's the law," she said with a snippy attitude. She then pointed to our table on the lower floor, reminding me to exercise caution on the steps! I am under the impression that the American Disabilities Act trumps social distancing guidelines and all employees should understand disabled people have rights & deserve common courtesy. This is my new favorite Applebees. I appreciate going somewhere that I have this very attentive service and attention to detail, as many of the servers and hostesses do. My favorite server there is Kandi, very informative and helpful with selections, and making sure your drink stays topped off. I always tip extra for service like this because of the extra mile. But one of the servers there named Tyler I believe was absolutely horrible, non-attentive, quiet, no check-in, no refills, overall a bad experience. Don't be a Tyler, be sweet like Kandi. read more

She called one of our party an "a**hole". She repeatedly made it apparent that she did not want to be there or on this on this earth.
