I haven't been to Applebees in years since they are no longer in the city that I reside so I was enthused to give them a try since I use to love them. I ordered garlic Parmesan bone in wings and mozzarella sticks for the appetizer. The garlic Parmesan sauce was overly buttery and didn't have the actual garlic parm taste. As my entree I ordered the beef nachos. There was barely any beef in the nachos and it arrived to my table cold. Not entirely cold but definitely not hot considering the wait time. My husband and I tried this location several times and it made it to the "3 Star Rating". The hostess is friendly. Shawn is the only friendly server we've met. Bartender/Manager couldn't even load my points for rewards (smh). We do not recommend the following as they are all over-cooked. My husband said something to our servers and they just say sorry! Steaks being a sirloin or ribeye are grizzly and hard. Fish (Salmon) was terribly overcooked and no flavor either. I asked for the Manger and she did come to our table, and said and I quote "I just had a meeting this morning with the employees, sorry they didn't listen". Appalling! Not, can I replace your steaks or fish or offer you a coupon on us on your next visit, which would have been the right thing to do. Nothing other than apologize for the employees. My family and I ate there a few months back. We were pleasantly surprised by the service of our waitress, the food was amazing, and the wait time was short. When we went to leave, the car wouldn't start. I came back in to ask them if I could potentially leave it overnight until I could get a tow. The manager jumped right in and offered to help. Went into the curbside to go myself and ordered riblet platter with coleslaw and fries, got steamed broccoli (which my husband is allergic) and soggy fries. I ordered queso, crunch shrimp with broccoli and fries, no broccoli and no fries. I did get the extra lemon I asked for. No napkins, no silverware. I was there waiting and only had to walk across the parking lot to the hotel we were staying. All the food was cold, thank goodness we had a microwave in the room. We got there around 9 in the evening and the hostess had a table ready for my husbands wheelchair when we got in the door. The waitress was at the top of her game. We didn't have to wait to long before she was there taking our drink orders. She gave us a respectable amount of time between getting drinks and asking for our order. We got the 2 for $20/$25 menu and got the appetizer. There was enough time between the appetizer and the entrées that it didn't feel rushed. We never saw an empty cup and that is saying something.
