I had the Cajun salmon, mashed potatoes and garlicky green beans. The green beans were limp and soggy. The mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor and the salmon was okay. My husband had the ribs snd he said they were the toughest ribs he has ever had. They had a thick coat of bbq sauce. The fries were average. We told the waitress twice about the ribs. She was apologetic but did not offer to get the manager or anything. We will not go back to this location. read more

This Applebee's meets the expectations you would have with other stores. On this occasion we found our waitress Katie to be outstanding. She was very friendly and professional. She kept the refills coming on time and was diligent about checking on us. For lunch I had the Oriental Chicken wrap. This infuses the oriental salad and chicken into a wrap. This was delicious! Give it a try if you like this salad. On the down side I was disappointed in the housekeeping. The floors had crumbs and napkins. The waitress station was very disorganized. I was taken aback when the bus person wiped the table residue onto the floor and chairs in the table across from us. Last friday my son, my daughter-in-law and my daughter took me here for Father's Day. It's been almost a year since i've been here before; I have no idea what has happened. The server was very pleasant, but a tortoise would have been faster. It took him at least 10 minutes, if not longer to get my son's beer and to come to get our order for our drinks, and then a good 5 to 10 minutes before we got the drinks and then even longer for the food arrive. The food was lukewarm at best. As for my ribs, I ate about 4 and thought, nope, I'll take it home and heat it up so I can have hot ribs. My daughter's mashed potatoes were absolutely cold. My daughter's onion soup was lukewarm at best. I don't understand what has happened. But I can guarantee you I will not be going back for a long, long time if at all and it's really sad because it used to be a great place. This was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in years. Do not eat here. First as a professional corporate establishment you should hold your employees to higher standards. Having a female bartender with hardly any teeth and the ones she did have were rotten should have been my first clue to leave. In my experience bartenders are usually some of the most professional, skilled and presentable workers of an establishment - clearly this place does not follow the same industry standards of approachability. This one couldn't remember orders and had to repeat them several times. I had a difficult time understanding her and kept having to ask her to repeat herself. Additionally I watched her cough into her hands and handle items in the bar without washing her hands. My order (and several others overhearing conversations) came out wrong and/or cooked improperly. There were also gnats flying around (clearly a sign of lack of cleanliness) and one drink refill had said bug in my glass. My steak was also stringy and gritty which makes me question the quality of food being served here. The corporate office should look into this place, the health department should do an inspection and the management team should think about the presentability of the employees they are hiring. read more

For 3 of us ordered we were pretty happy with service and menu and the quality of food. I have tried cajan shrimp and steak with fried potatoes and veggies. It is great. You need to try this. What was incredible experience from a surprising place! We were staying at the Comfort Inn and noticed that we could use our door key to get 10% off at the local Applebee's so that's how we decided to head that way for our last day in Auburn. We were immediately and warmly greeted, seated, and waited on at Applebee's. Our table was clean. We were delighted to be able to see the Olympics on three different flat-screen televisions. I had a hard time deciding what to eat because there were SO many menu options. M got a steak with shrimp for about $14. I got a quesadilla burger for about $9. We both got vegetable sides and enjoyed them the best out of all of our food. My quesadilla was SOOOO salty to the point of being inedible. I ate a quarter of it and M tried a bite of it too. Although she initially thought that her steak was salty, she agreed that mine was overbearing. We both agreed that we couldn't taste the meat. Our server came by and asked how our food was. M answered for the both of us and said it was "fine." A few minutes later, a manager noticed my plate pushed away from me and asked about it. We explained that it was too salty. She admitted that they've had some really salty steaks lately and that she will tell the cook to be easier on the seasoning. She offered to replace my meal for me, but I declined her offer. Next, she said that she would take the quesadilla burger off of our bill. We both said that wasn't necessary, but she did it anyway. In the end, we both ordered milk shakes (that we thought were far superior to those from Steak n Shake) and left feeling REALLY good about the amazing service experience. Worst recent dining experience we've had. 7 top of hungry patrons, and we were ignored for 15 minutes after being seated. Then we asked a hostess about it and took another 5 minutes before the bartender reluctantly came over to serve us. The manager did approach us to apologize, so that was appreciated. please note that the location and addess are incorrect. this restaurant is actually located in the walmart parking lot next to steak n shake. i ate dinner here the other and was pleasantly surprised by applebee's menu. they offer the 2 for $20 deals but not are also carrying some southern dishes. i ordered a type of steak n shrimp over rice with red beans meal and it was good - definately hit the spot. also had a few $2.50 margarita's. ive been here on a few different week nights over the years and they always seem to have really good deals. the people at that site at the bar give me the feeling they are there to pick up whoever they can.....coworkers (male and female) and i have been eyed a few times from both males and females. could just be we are out of towners intruding on their hangout. either way nice place to grab a good meal. read more

I've been going here quite often lately and the service and food has been excellent!

We decided for lunch we made there just 345pm. I know close at 4pm for lunch. but it was too early to close 15 minutes early. Waitress said we can not have lunch since it is too late but we were there before 345. we already decided for what we want for lunch but no they won't let us have lunch even we were there 345pm it was not even 4pm. It kinda pissed me off. Dinner was looked good on menu but turned out it was so awful the one new menu. I don't even like their rice and some little burn shrimps. I end up gave them to my boyfriend for his leftover for his lunch at work next day. I was not very happy and very disappointment because they won't let us have lunch while it was not even 4pm.
