I needed a Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and of course their recommendation was Dr. Benaifer Preziosi,DMD who I can recommend and state the this Oral Surgeon is the most professional, knowledgeable and patients oriented person I have ever met and my respect for her ability and skills provide our community with a great asset. Along with DRS. Clark and Bloch they also recommend INFINITE ENDODONTICS to preform root canals on several of my teeth. Once again, their opinion and contact with this practice in 222 New Rd, Suite; 203, Dr. Spencer Saint-Cyr, DMD proved to be one of the most professional and equipped practices with the newest CT Scans and a staff that are trained to handle the delicate procedures of Root Canal. They immediately attempted to ameliorate the bill with upgrades as soon as I sat in the chair. I have FULL X-rays that are only 18 months old, guess what? According to the mouth mechanics there I needed "new basic ones" Even more comical, the regular normal cleaning I was scheduled for was "only going to do harm" and I needed a upgrade to a "deep" cleaning to handle my disease ravaged mouth and gums for an additional $200 dollars. Finally, and most hilarious, they refused to give me a normal cleaning and stated I can make another appointment at another time for that special "deep" cleaning. (FUN FACT** I am 40 years old with not one single cavity or any advanced dental procedures in my entire life) Do you, your family, your better spent time in a professional dental office and your wallet a great service and resolve to pass on this mouth mechanic garage. So, my parents took me to whom I knew as "Dr. Rob" (didn't know the spelling till later on in life) and it changed my life when it came to dentistry. Now I show no fear as an adult, still with severe anxiety. He was experiencing severe tooth/gum pain along with some minor ear ache. I explained how he wasn't sleeping well and that we needed an X-ray and a treatment plan. The medical staff, Marie, was extremely cold and off-putting. As with any new experience (especially the dentist), my son was very nervous. He expressed anxiety and fear - and wanted me to be with him during the x-Ray. She threatened my son saying "I'll make mom leave and go sit in the waiting room" multiple times before asking me to step out. When I asked to stay with him for the X-ray I was told "No" and asked to wait outside. After not getting an X-Ray, the staff took my minor son back to the exam room where he was examined by Dr. Raab. Less than five minutes later Dr. Raab met me in the waiting room and told me the tooth needed to be extracted. That the alternative would be a root canal but in my sons anxious state, that was not a good option. Dr. Raab extracted a permanent six year molar from his mouth after his staff member Marie refused to allow me to calm my child to obtain a necessary diagnostic test to make an informed medical decision. He did not give me any type of informed consent and just basically guilted me into thinking the extraction was my only option. I should be able to trust medical advice from a doctor and his staff. The experience was nothing but bullying and medical negligence to get me out the door and collect a payment. When I got home with my son and he finally calmed down from the traumatic experience, he informed me that Dr. Raab put his hand over my son's mouth and held him down. Almost to the point where he couldn't breathe. He will be reported to the Board of Medical Examiners; his practice will be reported to the Better Business Bureau; and I've contacted a medical negligence attorney. Please do not bring your child(ren) to this dentist!!
