I am building a large shed/workshop and needed electricity in it. Ken returned my call within a…read morefew hours of making it and arranged to come out and give me a quote. He arrived when promised, is friendly and professional, and had a few suggestions on the job and the related jobs (trench digging, temporary power for the build process, etc). Within 48 hours he had provided an estimate for the entire project and had broken down the phases thereof. After I prepared the trench we scheduled the first working visit. Ken organized the permit with my town, scheduled the inspection (of the underground conduit), and the conduit (with temporary power running through it) is in place. Before he left he gave me some advice on how to proceed with my build in regards to the area where the conduit comes up through the "floor" (yet to be installed) and we agreed upon a timeframe for the followup to put in the panel and circuits. His prices are fair, he is flexible with his schedule, he provides reliable service, and his employees reflect all these values. I am excited to continue working with Dalpe Electric on the next phase of this project and many more to come!

Finally, an electrician that doesn't play games. One person operation with full accountability and…read morea 'let's get it done' attitude. Good communication either through email, text or phone. I had a bucket list of items that I needed help with. I got ridiculous quotes from other electricians, $2200, $2600, $2500. Marty came by, looked at the job and had decided the best course of action what to just do Time and Materials at his hourly rate. It saved him from underestimating/overestimating and I could manage the costs fairly. Items completed: 1. Deck Post light caps: Caseta switch installation. Also diagnosing some incorrect connections (I had made incorrect connections previously). Wiring an incomplete LV wiring run to complete a 'missing' section of lights. 2. Under deck puck lights: 15 Amp box and 2nd Caseta switch installation powering puck lights 3. Troubleshooting Magnitude MLV Transformer (found bad caseta switch and worked with Lutron support to diagnose and get replacement) 4. Installed heat tape on troublesome (ice/snow) roof section I got everything done for roughly $600.00. (I bought all the materials in advance ~$100 worth and did some "brain dead" stuff myself (like running 14/2 UF wire through existing conduit). In any event, I was thrilled with T&M as was he. I believed I saved roughly $1500 by spending an hour or two myself and having Marty come in for the rest. I think I found my new 'go to' electrician in my area. Fair, honest and hard working.

After several bids to have a whole house standby generator, I came across Alpine electrical…read moreservices from the Generac Website. After dealing with shady sales tactics from Lowes and a few other vendors, I was pleasantly surprised when the Owner Rich came down from Salem, NH to personally review my needs. He explained that the 8K was more than enough for me. Now, keep in mind that the Lowe's rep suggested a 14kw, go figure. Rich's proposal was all inclusive and very straightforward. He offered financing through Generac but I ended up using personal finances. All it took was a 50% deposit and the work was scheduled. Rich showed up early on the install date as scheduled. My town was unique in that they required a building permit, so that stalled the process, but Rich was there throughout the entire process. There was one hiccup with the gas guy being behind, but once he installed the gas lines, it was good to go. The personal touch by Rich is what sets Alpine electrical services apart from all of the other dealers. My weekly generator exercise hasn't been working properly, so Rich has been very responsive in ensuring that it's working as promised. I definitely recommend Rich and Alpine Electrical Services for your Generac generator needs. You won't be disappointed. Thanks, paul
