It might not be the biggest, most glamorous store you associate with Apple in big cities, in the large old/new buildings - but this store, the only one in the Stockholm county (located at Täby Centrum a shopping mall just outside the city - interestingly shopping centres just outside the city are common, and are large too probably down to high taxes) but this store is still pretty good, one of three in Sweden. The store is pretty large, it is split into two different parts with the back of the store selling accessories for your phone including cases and screen protectors and being home to the "Genius Bar" - meanwhile the front of the store is dedicated to staff members who greet you with a smile and the latest Apple technology - the selection of the latter is probably just OK, with other stores having more tables packed compared to just a few models of each unit which is ample for a store of its' size, in its' location. I'm really surprised about some of the bad reviews this store gets - it is a real shame they don't have a location in central Stockholm but for a mall location this store is pretty good. For some reason, the Genius Bar does appear to be a little small and it seems it always booked up - for some things I can't even get an appointment at this location which I could back home in the UK, probably down to the nature of my problem - sometimes waits of just under a week are possible which needs working on. Overall, a really cool Apple store which "I'm a fan" of, it might not be as near-perfect and glamorous as its' other worldwide locations, with friendly staff and a good overall feel it does the trick - but could work on the stock of Apple technology to match other stores and waiting times and what the Genius' can actually do. 4* read more

I went to buy a laptop and had booked an appointment. We checked in at the store and they said someone would be with me soon. The store was pretty empty but lots of staff were stood around chatting. No one came to talk to us. Meanwhile, people without appointments came in and were seen immediately. We waited for 40 minutes and asked a number of times if we could talk to someone as I really need a replacement laptop. We left without being seen. Super unimpressed. I expect better from somewhere that is supposed to have premium products and premium service. read more

Apple is supposed to pride itself on fantastic customer service. Täby obviously missed this memo. This store was crammed (it was Saturday) but my main issue was the staff. The staff did not give me that Apple level of service I am used to, left to get some things during payment and didn't say why, and talked with each other whilst I was being served. Also the little terminal where they take your machine was super slow (running an old version of iOS). It also took me about 10 minutes to get some service and actually pay for the product I picked. So overall, the store was very fresh with a great selection of products but the staff could have done a lot better. Maybe don't visit here on a Saturday. read more

This is clean Apple-style. A large store in a very large shopping mall. The staff is nice, like in any other Apple Store, and the experience is the same like in the states. This particular store is very large, compared to, for example, the ones in Germany. The Genius Bar is very wide, which means they can take on more people at the same time. The shelves for covers and bags are huge, and stretches three metres up to the ceiling. Not too crowded, you perhaps expect it to be more people in there, but it's not. This is officially my new favorite store. read more

This is the worst Apple Store I have ever been to - in the whole world! It's as if was ran by a different company. Every time I have been here asking for support they have been extremely rude. They seem to have no customer service whatsoever. There's this female manager who appears especially unhelpful, and who both times that I have been there has been particularly going out-of-her way to be unhelpful. Once I went there to get a battery replaced as it was one of those where Apple shipped faulty batteries (and was subject of a class action suit), and was basically accused of making it up. And then when they so "kindly" agreed to replace the battery, they ruined my phone! Fortunately I had backed it up, but there were a few days of photos that I lost. This store seems to be manned and managed by morons. The second time my headphones plug broke a week after I got my new iPhone, and they said I had broken it "on purpose". Duh? Why would anyone do this when they had spent over $1000 on a new phone??? Advice to Apple: Try and hire some service-minded people in Sweden as you do in your wonderful locations! read more

Great looking store, nice people who are completely disorganized and incompetent. I scheduled an appointment (1200) to check the battery on an iPhone. As it turns out, I didn't need a new battery, and then asked if I could have a new screen protector installed. I was told to wait where I was sitting (at the Genius bar) and someone would come and help me. I was scheduled for a second appointment in the store for 1230. Forty minutes later (1310) I was still waiting and then received a message that my appointment was cancelled! All the while, the first representative who assisted me was walking by me...assisting other customers. I went to ask a different representative for assistance. She went into the back and returned about 10 minutes later with another representative who said that I had a "shopping appointment" and should have been at a table about 10 meters from where I was sitting!!! Apparently it was my fault for not knowing the names for each table in the store...even though I was instructed by the first representative to sit at the "Genius bar" and wait there. I was then turned over to another representative (my 5th for this visit) who would install the screen protector. He was helping another customer which involved a long personal conversation while I waited. One of the previous representatives came back and asked if I was being helped...I said I was still waiting so I was then referred to yet another representative who installed the screen protector. In all, I spent just over 90 minutes in the Täby Apple store, to get a screen protector installed...I talked with 6 different representatives, all of whom seemed completely oblivious to what was going on around them. This store clearly needs some leadership, communications training, and a bit of organizational restructuring! read more

Lots of people, not enough Apple employees. I wanted to purchase an iPad, had to stand in a queue in order to get on another queue to get to the 3rd queue. Waited for like 15 mins, left without a purchase. Worst Apple Store experience in my life. read more

Avoid this Apple Store. Maybe better to fly to US and get service while they are 'fully booked' every time you visit.
