They are located in a remote area, so there is no cell service, and wifi is only available right by the office, but they do have a great selection of loaner DVDs, which kept my hubby . They have a gathering space with movies and popcorn, an onsite store. They even had a great DJ on Saturday night.

That said, this is the sort of place that we want to go camping all the time now! We're definitely not go out in the woods and sleep on a camping pad under the stars type people. We're more camp where we can see the car and have a bathroom around type people. This definitely trends towards the latter. This little campground is about 17 miles past Bron Yr Aur in Naches and is an absolute gem of a spot. Upon checking in, you find they have a small store with plenty of food and beverage options. They have spots for tent camping, cabins with beds, and plenty of RV parking. We went up here for a friends birthday weekend and opted for one of the small cabins. It was named "mamas place "and was lovely. The cabins are newly renovated and have small kitchenette's, a nice TV, And most importantly were warm! The two that we saw in so I did not have bathrooms, but there is a shared central bathroom and shower house that's close to everything, and is also heated! On the grounds, they have a small beach area where the kids could go throw rocks in the River and during the summertime everyone is able to get into the water to cool off. They have tons of play equipment for kids to run around and play on, some awesome area for people to ride 4 x 4's if they brought them, and they even have a meadow type area where they hold weddings. It's incredibly picturesque with the river in the background and the cliffs behind it. Go out there at night and check out what they called the fire flies - a bunch of lights set up in the meadow the dance on the trees. It's pretty awesome! You are just close enough to be able to run into town for something you forgot, but also far enough away that your cell phone isn't going off all the time because the reception is bad. This is actually about as close to perfect spot as we've been, and we're really excited to go back!

First off I rarely give 5 stars (unless it is exceptional service above and beyond) so this rating…read moredoesn't imply I was disappointed. I recently had a less than stellar experience at another BMW dealer in eastern Washington. I didn't even know this place did BMW sales/service. The wife's bike needed some work done. I called and Jim in service helped coordinate the date and parts arriving on time. I paid ahead for parts( no big deal) and scheduled the appointment. Brought the bike in and they were ready for me. No stories about having to wait for other customers or anything. First impressions: it's big! Huge inventory. Not. A bunch of gear, but it's alright. The shop! Wow! Clean, orderly, professional, and this was during their lunch break. So far so good. I waited out in the showroom and was approached by most of the sales folks. Very nice guys who obviously love to ride. I never felt like I was being sold something. We just talked bikes, and riding. I would like to point out I'm still pretty raw about my previous experience at the other BMW shop, and I tend to get angry about it quite easily. All of the guys here were very professional and never once said anything bad about another dealer. Good on them. It's easy to get sucked into a customer's ranting bash fest and you didn't. Took 2.5 hours to do the recall work and the other repairs my wife's bike needed. Shop rate was the same as any other mainstream dealer. The bike looks in top shape. Thank you Desert Valley, you have yourself a new customer who is very happy with your service. On a side note, they pretty much have the coolest urinal in all of Eastern Washington. You'll have to see for yourself on that one

His temper, lack of communication and erratic behavior caused my mom and dad to bump the guide's sled. Overall, the equipment was poorly maintained. Specifically, my sled stopped running because the spark plug wires fell off. Both of the guides' sleds broke down and our group was left alone for 45 minutes while the guides tried to fix the sleds. The guides eventually took my mom's sled and made her ride as a passenger with someone else for the rest of the day. Now the guides are quoting my parents for damages in the $1,000. Our experience was more of a slow ride up the hill than a fun filled adventure through the outdoors. All and all I would say their lack of professionalism caused a huge headache that I will never forget. Avoid these people like the plague, especially if you wanted a family experience.

We had a Groupon for the moonlight excursion. I called a couple of times in the weeks leading up…read moreto our appointment with questions and was directed to visit the website for pretty much everything. We were told to arrive 30 minutes early, but they didn't let me know that I was supposed to go to an address other than what was listed on the Groupon (which turned out to be a Safeway in North Bend - you're only supposed to meet there if you've previously arranged for a ride). We called from North Bend and found out that we were in fact 30 minutes away from the cabin so we had to rush to make it in time. The staff was super laid back and all seemed to be in good spirits once we arrived. They got us suited up and on the snowmobiles within 15 minutes. There wasn't a lot of instruction, but the machines aren't complicated at all. There were 6 people in our group and 2 guides...one guide up front and one guide in the back. I was the slowest of the bunch (average speed of 25 mph...maybe a little faster) and the guides were pretty nice about it - someone stuck it out with me the whole time. Our two hours flew by and before I knew it we were back at the cabin. It was definitely worth the price I paid for the Groupon, but I think the normal price is wayyy too much. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a fun way to enjoy the Snoqualmie Pass area. The staff is nice and the scenery is gorgeous.
