I left my computer in this place a month ago. I was in Paris on holiday. I told the business owner I needed to collect computer by leaving time otherwise better to fix at home. I turned up at the agreed time. The machine was is pieces on his desk. I had received no communication from him. I was offered no opportunity to have the machine sent to me at a later date so I had to COME BACK to Paris from London to collect it. I told him VERY clearly the dates. I was assured it will be ready. It was not. As I write this it seems unbelievable. I came back the FOLLOWING weekend and it still wasn't ready. I was in shock and didn't have anyone in France who could help me deal with it. I went back to England. The man assured me I would have my computer within 2 days by mail. Two weeks later I have no computer and no information from him about when it will arrive. For a while, he gave me dates. Now he has gone completely quiet. I have no idea what to do. I guess I have to go to the police. It's absurd. Good luck if you choose to go here and DEFINITELY DON'T GO IF YOU ARE A TOURIST. The man is not a bad person but he's not reliable. read more

I'm a huge fan of the Apple brand, while in Paris I tried to visit three of their stores in the city I'm aware of, this location located in the Opera district, which is close to Auber Station and the Hilton Opera in which I stayed during my time in the French capital - this store was by far the worst and that was mainly down to the staff, normally the highlight of the Apple Store with the staff helpful and friendly, here they were just a bunch of miserable bastards. Apple Store's have changed drastically during the COVID-19 pandemic and in the aftermath, in the UK, France and the US I've noticed the following - Compulsory masks - if you are exempt/refuse to wear one you will be denied entry - Compulsory hand gel on arrival - You must queue separately for the store or Genius Bar, state why you want to enter the store and be escorted in by a staff member - Temperature Checks (For some reason, this was the only store where I didn't get a temperature check and I was told it was banned in France) I explained upon entering the store that I just wanted to look around and wasn't looking for anything in particular, however, I still had to wait for a member of staff to explain this again too. Again, after entering the floor, I tried explaining this to a member of staff that I just wanted to look around and he persisted to try and help me, even though I clearly told him to just let me be. There's trying to help and then there's being pushy on the customer. It wasn't just these staff members that were rude, one staff member also targeted me as my mask fell down, perhaps because I was a tourist. A security guard also barred me from exiting the store and said I had to walk all the way around even though there was no one there because it was spreading COVID?? The store, in general, is small anyway, no Today at Apple feature and the Genius Bar is cramped I mean come on... If Apple on the Champs-Elysées can still bring most of the good from the usual experience even with the pandemic still ongoing why can't this store. It really disappoints a huge Apple fan like me. read more

You don't really expect to here such a silly answer in a smart shop! On top of it , she was lying because after a long wait under the sun outside the shop someone took me to the first floor I'm sitting finally ! and they are 16 minutes late to their appointment !! read more

The Apple Opéra store located near the Opera House is in a beautiful old building. The store was very crowded and there was a long line for the Genius Bar upstairs. www.apple.com read more

The worst service ever. Only one exception the guy technician who finally dealt with us. We had an appointment to change an iPhone screen. When we arrived at the genius bar entrance, the lady in charge of welcoming the customers was so pretentious and pretending to be over busy, not able to listen not even to a "bonjour" We sat where she said to wait for our technician to come. After half an hour waiting pas the appointment time, I returned to see the lady and asked her to check that everything was ok. I was very polite and she almost insulted me "sir I know my job, no need to check, seat at your table and be quite, I insisted that she checked all the same, she shouted "I know my job how THEY get so much on my nerves today, wait here" So I waited near her so that she finished to welcome some clients and she was not at all paying any attention to me. The out of nowhere, she said "you are to close wait down there (I was like at 2 yards from her which is a respectful distance). At the end I insisted and she finally checked, only to find out that my session was open and the technician was serving another customer instead of me. Not a word of apology, except "go to your table, someone will come". Finally we were helped by the very kind technician I was talking about at the beginning of this post. While leaving the bar I just said, "you see it was worthwhile checking if not we could have spent the whole afternoon waiting". She replied so rudely to me that me that my friends could not believe it! I never lost my temper and was very well educated all along, underlined it to her and she replied "maybe I was rude by words, but you are rude with your body, waiting too close to me" and she turned her back to me. WORST EXPERIENCE OF SERVICE EVER, ALL BRANDS INCLUDED. LEAVING WE SAW MANY OTHER CUSTOMERS GOING OUT OF THE STORE SO SHOCKED BY TJE STAFF ATTITUDE TOWARDS THEM TOO. That was 28 April 2018 at 1 pm in case Apple management considered giving a proper training to their undignified staff, especially one of them. read more

No matter what I try and accomplish at this store I am never able to get sufficient help. I am usually not one to rag on French service but this is simple unacceptable. I purchased a replacement glass screen protector in New York 4 days ago. The glass has already cracked on its own. As this has happened to me in the past i returned to Apple in Paris seeking a replacement. I was told that this was not possible. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he explained that it was the provider I needed to speak with and not them, while Apple provided the service to install the protector and sold it. Im yet again disappointed in apples service in France and will stop doing business with them here. read more
I needed some service work done on a macbook and didn't want to deal with the Louvre so I thought that I would check out the Opéra store. The building is magnificent, not the usual glass, white-walled Apple store, but a restoration of a beautiful old bank. Complete with spiral staircases, marble and tile floors, wrought-iron railings, and a huge skylight, the store itself is a work of art. The display space for iphones, ipads, and computers is big enough to be accessible even with the huge crowds this store can draw. I had made a Genius Bar reservation online so I didn't have to wait but I would not advise just showing up and hoping to be served as the store was packed on both visits. The Genius Bar tech was incredibly friendly and competent. The other techs that I saw were incredibly patient given the questions that people were asking them. The Macbook was under European consumer warranty even if no longer covered by Applecare but the tech said they could still provide the 400€ motherboard replacement for free (instead of having to pass through Darty where it was purchased). All said, another fantastic Apple support experience by a courteous, competent and efficient staff. read more
After walking around they city for most of the day, I was very happy to stumble in here to catch up on emails and the internet in general. I was very appreciative of the fact that they have a bench (sitting right in front of their main cash area) that one can sit on to do just what I wanted, it was crowded but it didn't feel hectic. And boy is this a very pretty building! I love the open feel with the second floor looking down on the wide open main floor area, usually Apple Stores have a large staircase right in the middle, no such thing here and with the stairs in the sides, this store feels a lot larger than it really is making it more tolerable to be around the crowds. I was curious to see what kind of apparel they have and was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a larger variety than stores in Toronto. The section of their store that houses the apparel is in the lower level in what has to be the coolest little area I have seen in an Apple stores with that area having it's own cashier desk and is just a small enclave of sorts. It has the potential of getting cramped up though. Overall, staff were friendly although I didn't interact with a lot, a good location, beautiful interior all make this store a great addition to Apple's remarkable stores. read more

This is regarding the disrespectful from apple customer care at opera paris my phone showed up temperature warning and I immediately report this to apple customer service. A guy didn't tell his name and took my phone and did diagnosis and said its due to application you are using and you recover your previous data due to that temperature warning came and he said its due to software and later he said we can not address this problem you should go to another customer care services . he was not talking in a good way and was saying we will not fix this problem when I demanded his name he refused and said you may go now. read more

Always well executed, and always crowded as any Apple Store around the globe; However make sure to get your appointments during the week as it is much less crowded... The only negative point here, is that the lead time to appointments is too long. I had to wait 10 days to get a scheduled appointment to get an iMac in which is gone for another 10 to get its screen replaced; I think appointlents should be guaranteed within 3 days... read more

The worst Apple Store ever. No one even tried to talk to me, so I had to fight for my right to get an expert's advice. Then I found a person who told me he can do nothing with my request and I need someone else. So I literally spent about 20 mins near USB C drives stand. Than I was told to wait again until another person is looking for the item I need. read more

Apart from the great combination of architecture, design and technology, the first striking element about the Apple Store is that the staff is genuinely nice to you, this might be normal in the US, it's not in Paris. Of course you have all the advantages Apple is well known for : great customer care and service and even a sort of training service with workshops and one-on-ones. Always providing helpful tips, always smiling (even when they don't know what they are talking about) the staff is increasingly being assailled by a large number of costumers, some of them slightly dodgy I would even say. I feel it's more personable than the one in the Louvre and i hope it stays that way and doesn't go down, but for example I was offered a special shopping visit a couple months ago and now that i tried to claim it they said I had to wait until February because of the holidays...I'm way to impatient for that, I want more Apple, now!* PS: They also have all sorts of artists (composers, directors, copyrighters, etc) that use Apple for their work come in and show their stuff and give chats (Jan Kounen, Ed Banger, 'Logorama''s director) and most of the staff is involved with creative activities such as graphic design, film or even architecture and music too! *Came back in february to claim the personnal guide and it was now actually non-existant. Therefore getting all the proper info about the different Mac models and performances was actually quite a challenge as the number of customers keeps increasing and the different opinions of the blue salespersons are often contradictory. The net might actually be a better bet if you wanna get a new Mac, or you can try to look out for the men in black, 'the experts', they know more as they advice companies mostly instead of individuals and nowadays, you know what's worth more... read more

If it's a flagship, it's the Titanic.... A deplorable and "amateur" welcome, a false freindly tone, a half-hour delay announced on an appointment made a week earlier for a repair, a partially unoccupied staff when many of us are waiting, no chairs or stools for people with reduced mobility (one of them even got his seat taken away when his back was turned), ridiculous names ("The Genius Bar".... and why not the Einstein Office or the Galileo broom closet) and above all, the feeling of being totally infantilized by staff whose expertise is only very moderate. Of course, no one in charge on the horizon, except to... wait for him to free himself. Result: third failed purchase attempt, with no regrets, and satisfied competitors (FNAC) since I went to them.... A shipwreck for this pretentious and vulgar place. On the other hand, a word of congratulations to the AppleStore of Chesnay who perfectly welcomed me and advised me on the purchase of an Ipad pro. Thanks to them, and music for the Titanic.... read more

Very busy store and staff more French than Apple Store friendly. Had an appointment for an instore pick up, showed up on time and was told I needed to wait in line for over 1h - that I had an actual appointment made no difference. Told me to wait or walk away - was made to understand this was my problem not theirs and why would they honour an appointment? Not normal Apple Store standard! read more

Dismal customer service. It's not easy for the French to be nice to their customers, and you can clearly see in this Apple store that when they are nice to you, it's because they're forced to be. Got practically yelled at by one of their Genius bar people today, very French of them. Told me the "Laws of the customer" don't apply in Europe. And don't apply to me because I'm American. All because I wanted my charger replaced because macbook chargers (as apple knows, they've got 1700 negative reviews about them on their website) are designed to stop working every six months. They'll also treat you like crap if you don't have an appointment, but then when you go up to a computer to GET an appointment, it will either say "There are no appointments available in this store" ("Try again tomorrow!" they said to me) or that an appointment is available somewhere between a week and ten days from now. Apple should be ashamed that people like this are representing it in their biggest store in France. Completely different from the great service I get in the U.S. Too bad for Apple, now I'm going to spend money elsewhere to get a charger that will actually WORK for longer than six months at a non-apple company. Enter at your own risk. Insist enough and maybe they'll help you. Never let them be mean to you. read more

I had to visit this Apple store when the charger for my macbook retina frayed and stopped working. I was pretty upset as the charger was a little more than a year old. I patiently waited for someone to see me at the Genius Bar (It is difficult to get an appointment with only two Apple stores in Paris and so many Apple customers). So I decided to wait for someone to see me. The wait was less than 10 minutes and once I got up to the bar, I explained to the man who was helping me what the problem was. Originally they wanted to charge me 69 euros for a new charger but after I made my case, Thierry, the man who was helping me, agreed to replace the charger free of charge. I was very very appreciative of his understanding, as I firmly believed that I shouldn't have had to pay for a product that clearly wasn't holding up to its quality. Thierry was very helpful and understanding, and I left the store fully satisfied. I definitely recommend visiting this location if you need to go to an Apple store in Paris. read more

I had a very disappointing experience today at the Apple Store Opéra. The store manager, Franck, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was purchasing an iPhone costing over €1,700, which is a significant amount where I come from. When the box presented to me was not in impeccable condition, I politely asked if another box could be provided. My request was immediately refused. I was then told, "Either you buy this box or I call security," followed by "I'm the boss of this store, so I decide what customers can buy." I was shocked and deeply uncomfortable with this attitude. I contacted Apple Support right away to report this experience. They apologized and mentioned they had already received multiple complaints regarding this specific store. I chose not to proceed with my purchase at Opéra and instead went to the Apple Store on Champs-Élysées, where the difference was night and day--warm welcome, professionalism, and flexibility regarding product presentation. This kind of behavior is completely contrary to what Apple stands for. A store manager should represent the brand's values, not damage them. read more

I needed to visit this Apple establishment when the charger for my macbook retina frayed and also quit functioning. So I determined to wait for somebody to see me. The wait was much less compared to 10 minutes and as soon as I stood up to bench, I described to the male who was assisting me exactly what the problem was. Initially they wished to bill me 69 euros for a brand-new battery charger however after I made my case, Thierry, the guy who was assisting me, consented to replace the charger free of charge. I was very extremely pleased of his understanding, as I securely believed that I shouldn't have actually had to pay for a product that clearly wasn't holding up to its quality. Thierry was extremely helpful and also understanding, as well as I left the establishment completely pleased. I certainly advise seeing this place if you need to go to an Apple establishment in Paris. read more

Tout simplement Génial ! read more
