(My mom was born with no enamel on her adult teeth. At the age of 19, she had to get Dentures. Our daughter inherited her bad teeth. * Comfortable very relaxing Office Environment * No waiting today * Attentive Receptionists * Patient comfort is #1 * Practical Prices * Many years of quality work. Leader in his craft. (I realized today I'd taken my Mom to see Dr. Affleck in 2012. He remembered me pushing her wheelchair into his office. She was fitted for Dentures 5 months before she died. The Dentures worked perfect for her. The office was located farther North of us at the time. Now it is 14 minutes close to home! A blessing for me, as riding in a car is very painful. (Interstitial Cystitis, PBD, PNE, PFD 15 yrs) * After a previous consultation, with a different Implant Dental Office, Dr. Affleck's price was near half the cost!!!! * Personable, kind, thoughtful, non judgmental ~ staff and doctor * Appointments scheduled quickly, meeting our excitement to get a new smile within a month ! Our previous consult with different Dental was December ... also told us she would need bone grafts, appointments every 3 months to remove the implants, clean them, more cadaver bone grafts!?!? Seriously. Those appointments weren't covered in the $34,700.00 cost due the day of surgical 4 post implants. WE CHOSE DR. AFFLECK * Dr Affleck exam determined there is no bone grafts needed, our daughter has a (yay!) good healthy jaw bone.... * Trustworthy * 3 Different plans were discussed and printed for us to consider * Financing options given * No pressure on us to do more than we could afford * Bottom implants will be crafted with the option of adding 2 extra posts if necessary * % Happy Today. I will update this review after the procedure is complete, and again 6 months with her new smile. We recommend Dr. Affleck. The crown went in perfectly, and then I told him that I had a slight problem on the left side down by my wisdom tooth and it chipped off. Instead of costing me a lot of money he said let's see if we can fill this. And he was able to fill that chipped portion with a substance that is so strong looks exactly like my tooth. Amazing what they have today. When everything was all done he asked me how my bite was and I said it is perfect. He pulled the few teeth I had left out and I had my denture the same day. I healed fast and no one can tell I have them they done amazing work on making them fit perfect and look real. However, when the receptionist came back after talking to the dentist I was told that since I can't wear a face mask due to a severe medical condition I had to wait with my other two children in the lobby. Are you kidding me? My young children were to be seen, alone in a room with a man they've never met, where I can't protect them? I don't think so! I understand there are regulations due to covid but to be discriminated against because I cannot wear a mask and put my children at risk is beyond acceptable. We were the only ones in the office because of the policy that states only one patient can be seen in the office at a time. They even had the audacity to ask me when I scheduled the appointment to leave my other children in the car, even knowing how young they are! That's against the law in Utah last time I checked! They recommended that I find a pedodontist who could maybe work with me but I'm guessing I'll again be discriminated against and not be allowed in with my very young children.
