Nice and helpful staff - gave good recommendations and taught me some shortcuts to solve some issues I was having.

I brought the iPhone 17 Pro Max in May and a month later my screen started glitching out and flashing a bunch of colors like crazy. I went into the Apple Store in Cherry Hill because T-Mobile said since I have Apple Care/Insurance/Warranty, any problems with the device is handled with Apple themselves. First off, when you get in there, all the employees ignore you and act like you don't exist and you have to try to find one who "appears" to be available and ask them to help you. The representative who assisted me was named Sully, a white guy with long blonde hair, I showed him the video of the first time my phone started glitching and he ran a bunch of diagnostics, which did a whole bunch of nothing because everything came out positive, and he concluded that I needed a screen replacement. Of course the screen replacement can't be done the same day, like they don't have a bunch of employees in blue apple shirts walking in and out their back office door every two seconds, so I had to find time out of my already busy and booked schedule to make an appointment to bring my phone in and be phoneless for four hours while they replace the screen. Well, they replaced the screen and when I went to pick it up, they again ran their little diagnostics to show that everything was ok with the phone. One week later and my phone screen starts acting up again and this time it won't stop. I went a whole 24 hours without being able to use my phone, and the same night it happened, I scheduled another appointment with Apple Cherry Hill the following day so I can get my phone fixed, let alone replaced because the fact that this happened TWICE on a brand new released phone is insane quality control. The representative I spoke to this time, Norety, was completely unempathetic to my situation and looked like helping me was the least of her concerns. She was full of hot air and spoke with more confidence than she did knowledge. She concluded that even though the screen was replaced, it's actually the logic board that's the issue and needs to be replaced. Why wasn't the logic board also checked when doing the initial screen replacement if both are hand and hand with the screen glitch? Heaven knows. I then asked her how long would it take for me to get that replaced and she said since they don't have the part in store, they have to order it and wait for it to come which would take 3-5 business days. When I asked does that mean I have to go another 3-5 business days without a phone? (IN THIS DAY AND AGE MIND YOU) She said yes. When I asked if there's anyway that she can call other locations and ask if they have it in stock so I can make an appointment with them instead to get it fixed, she said No and they don't call around other stores asking about their inventory because that doesn't mean they'll reserve that part for me. Interesting, because I've done so much research and NOBODY has been having this issue with their brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max, but I told her to do it anyway and she "did". I'm sure she just went to the back and twiddled her thumbs for a couple minutes while I looked stupid sitting in the middle of the Apple store with my phone flashing a bunch of different colors. I then asked her if I could have a temporary phone and supposedly they don't give out temporary phones so I was just out of luck. When I told her at this point, can I just order a replacement phone and not worry about getting it fixed because CLEARLY the phone itself is the problem and not all these random parts they keep bringing up and saying is the problem, she told me I had to call AppleCare myself and they'll help me with the $100 Nonrefundable express replacement. WHAT ARE THEY HERE FOR IF IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF WHILE THEY PROVIDE NO IMMEDIATE SERVICE??? I called AppleCare and there's actually no $100 express shipping (shocker!) and that I actually have to pay the whole price of the phone ($1770) and once Apple receives my damaged phone, they'll refund me back the money. One of the worst experiences ive ever had at an apple store. my phone told me to come here because my batteries maximum strength was under 80% "Due for a replacement." i come to get my battery replaced and they destroy my phone in the process and say that its not able to be fixed. they then give me a newer iphone 12 pro max ( one that you cant buy in the store or anywhere else) and dont transfer all the data from the old phone to the new one. i lost everything.... all because i went to sloppy apple and not a third party who specializes in repairs and replacements. i thought these people were supposed to be the specialists... i was sadly mistaken. below 1 star rating. read more

Made an appointment two days in advance for a time after my work day. Got there on time. Checked in and waited about 15 minutes for someone to help me. Turned out I purchased my phone over two years prior so they couldn't help me. It would have been great if during the questions they ask while making the appointment online, they could have stated that or asked that then I wouldn't have made an appointment. Aside from that, it's a nice store that seems to be packed all the time. Lots going on but organized. I felt intimidated before going and I know now that there's no reason to feel that way. Visited this Apple Store on Monday, August 28, 2023. We were greeted immediately and told it would be about a 15 minute wait after being checked in. This was our first ever visit to an Apple Store and were surprised how busy it was on a Monday morning. In about 5 minutes we were welcomed by Aidan who answered all of my questions regarding an iPad Pro. He helped me choose the right accessories and always made sure I was aware of the cost of my purchase. Aidan deserves a special shout out for his knowledge and professionalism. After my purchase, we were introduced to Cindy who guided me through set up of my new iPad. Cindy was amazing! Helpful, kind and knowledgeable. She made sure I understood everything before we departed. We spent considerable $$ here and were made to feel valued as a new Apple consumer. After this Covid thing things have gotten even more restrictive... especially in 'New Jersey. All the 'safety precautions' are enforced by more security than they need. Who basically look like minimum wage workers throwing their weight around with snarky attitudes. It reminded me of an experience at a restaurant years ago... you have to wait in a line just to make an appointment to get into the place now. Like their merchandise is made of gold. So then another one of the staff says they could make an appointment for like 90 minutes from now... I'm like the person on the phone made it sound like I could just walk in. Made a set time reservation at the Cherry Hill, NJ Apple store to pickup an already paid for iPhone. Went to the nearest available associate to ask where I need to go to pick up my order. Was told to go wait in the massive line to "check in" again. Soooo what is the point of making an online reservation again? After finally making it to the check-in "bouncer" I was told that I'd have to wait another 35 mins just to have someone hand me my item. Sooooo what is the point of ordering online, paying ahead of time online, making a set reservation online, if I only have to wait, and wait, and wait some more? Was told that that is just the process and there's nothing they can do about it. Was then told to go stand somewhere and someone would come get me. No chairs or a waiting area so bring comfy shoes...you're going to be standing and waiting some more! Great products but not a lot of help in a store with a huge demand. I have spent way too much money on Apple products over the years. I've had iPods (2 of them), iPads (2 of them) and iPhones (I'm on my third). My iPhone 6s is ancient by some standards, but it still had plenty of storage and it fit my needs except the battery didn't hold up too well. I made an appointment to come in on a Wednesday to get it replaced ($49) and I thought that was that. But by Saturday, I was experiencing problems with the phone intermittently shutting off and on again every few minutes, an issue that didn't exist before they replaced the battery. I made another appointment to come into the Genius Bar, and within 10 minutes, they informed me, after looking at the diagnostics, that they would be replacing my phone completely for free - not an upgrade, but the same make and model, just brand new. I was pretty amazed. They did all the steps to make sure I wouldn't lose anything I had and less than 30 minutes later, voila. Very happy with the outcome. read more

Love Apple, their products and their stores just continue the Apple greatness. Extremely clean, more employees on the floor then needed means you get fast and efficient service. I've returned items, bought items had questions and all of the above have been handled in a professional manner quick and easy. As an avid user of apple products, I have one issue and that is that the poor service I receive at the Apple store in Cherry-hill NJ. To be more on dot anything that has to do with repair or service I am treated with a condescending attitude and much more. If the situation escalates and I ask for a manager; suddenly everyone in there is a manager or by some mystery, there is no manager on site. On the other hand if and when I am at the Cherry-hill store to buy a product .. well, the associates will kiss my ass to get the sale and if I should act clueless, they won't lose that opportunity to try to upsell me. PS , Accommodate Your customers needs in front of your financial gains. Apple is a 2 Trillion dollar company; you would think R&D would spend some of that money on costumer relation. read more

Very heavy on projecting a high-tech image, very light on doing anything useful. Staff is smug, especially the apparent manager out front. All of the service people walk around flashing their iPads, which I guess is supposed make them look efficient and cutting edge, but their true forte is wasting a lot of their customers' time. While waiting for a consult on our simple issue, I Googled alternatives and found a local repair guy named Cherry Hill iPhone Repair. I called him up, described the issue with the phone, and we headed over there. Nobody even knew that we left. I wish I could give a zero. Had several horrifying experiences here this month. 1. My fiancé and I went to this store at the Cherry Hill mall to drop off his laptop to get the battery replaced. We check in and then waited in line (new protocol for Covid). I was standing to the side and behind my fiancé and not really engaged because it was his laptop. When we got to the front of the line the lady looks at my fiancé and looks and at me and says to him, "There's only one person allowed in the store at a time. This may be tricky since you're her translator." I was shocked. I am Asian American, but completely Americanized as I was adopted into a white family as a baby. English is my first and only language I speak. I looked at her directly in the eye and said, "no it's okay, it's his laptop. I don't have to go in." 2. When my fiancé went to go pick up the laptop there was a long line outside. In my opinion, they should regulate these appointments more so there's not as much of a crowd. Someone bumped into my fiancé and found out later that he was pickpocketed and his new Apple AirPod Pros were stolen. He was trying to track them and still had to get home, but Apple wouldn't even let him charge his phone when it was on 1%. He is unfamiliar with the area and had a difficult time getting home without his GPS on his phone since it was dead. Horrible customer service and I hope Apple makes some serious changes at this store. read more

I had visited the Apple store in Lawrenceville less than a year ago because the battery on my phone was dying very quickly. They tested it and said it wasn't as bad as it could be and recommended not changing it due to having 92% capacity. That quickly went down to 86% capacity in 6 months and finally said "Service" within the past 2 months. I visited this store and brought my original bar code I was given which was supposed to get me to the front of the line to get my replacement battery without the typical analytical process. That wasn't the case. In fact, the $29 I was promised for the replacement is now $49. I suppose that was Apple's tactic---- delay installing batteries at the special rate until the rate goes up. After pleading my case, I realized they weren't going to budge. I needed a battery. Total process took 2 hrs. That includes 15 minutes to wait for an associate, 5 minutes for the analytics/diagnostics, and 1 hr 20 minutes to wait for the change which was scheduled. You need to sign a waiver stating Apple is not responsible for any data loss or damage. I'm surprised they didn't try to sell me a newer phone. read more

Great service. Great equipment. Sometimes you get what you pay for because most of the time you pay too much. It's all worth it. The place is like Disneyworld. Organized, pleasant experience. With free classes to navigate the technology. Hey, I'll be 80 soon! Two small recommendations. The Sagemore store installed my screen protector by hand assuring me the edges would flatten. They never did. The Cherry Hill Store has machines to professionally apply the protector. On the other hand the Sagemore store alerted me to the $40 activation fee you will incur with Verizon. I didn't hear that at Cherry Hill. Overall, a fantastic experience. Just remember, there is no Android store. Apple is the go to place! read more

I want to thank Gina, the "manager" at Cherry Hill for not being able to fix any problems. The difference between making appointments is poorly described and like others I've seen, I accidentally made the wrong appointment. Instead of trying to accommodate and help with the issue, Gina decided to compound matters with her pettiness and attitude. It just seems with all the technology apple has, they haven't figured out how to distinguish between appointments or find people who can think on their feet. If I was buying a new phone she could help but I only needed to replace it with my insurance so there was no one available. Go figure read more

I came here yesterday for a phone repair on the cracked back of my 12 pro max. The repair was efficient and well done. I paid $105 even with my expensive monthly apple care payments, which I thought was a bit excessive, but it was fine with me. The real issues started when I got home. I came back to my home in Philly and couldn't recover my data. I soon learned my SIM card was no longer in my phone. I called the store to ask if it was there and the employee told me it indeed was. She said "come in and tell them you lost your SIM card." I didn't lose my SIM card. I asked to speak with a manager to see if I could be compensated for the trip back there; In comes Barry. Barry, the store manager, impatiently listened to my true story. I explained that I live in Philly and have an increasingly sick wife(she just got COVID vaccine shot #2) and a newborn baby at home. It was going to be very difficult to get back there to get my SIM card 35 minutes away in traffic, and that I'd appreciate any form of compensation. Barry wouldn't so much as grant me a $5 gift card to cover the cost of tolls. He did offer to ship my SIM card back to me, but I told him I'd need my phone back up and running and couldn't afford to wait three days to get it working, he said "everyone is different." I hope everyone is different...from Barry. For a store that has so many customers and such high profit margins, I'm really disappointed that they had no intention on even making me feel any better from a mistake that ruined my day. It seemed a typical Apple Store. Someone was close to the opening to greet, direct, and schedule people. Everything has changed since the early stores, with more expensive hardware in every style to try, and software is now at a minimum. I managed to walk through most of the store without anyone talking to me at all. I checked the headphones on my own, couldn't decide and started to walk away when Francesco asked if he could help. I was surprised, after walking through the store unacknowledged until that point. At the Menlo Park Mall store, no one said anything to me. Later, at Moorestown Mall, one person directed me to the headphones, and another asked me a bit later if I needed help. It's sad that Apple Stores seem so unfriendly these days. They can be helpful. Recently came here to 'browse' the selection of iPads, for a possible future purchase. Store was busy, yet I still had two employees approach me almost immediately & at the same time asking if I needed help. From what I experienced on my quick visit, the staff is friendly, knowledgable, helpful & not pushy at all (although I did outline to them from the start, the reason I was there was just to look, & to maybe purchase an item in a few months). I really liked how they got straight to the point & didn't give me a long technical explanation when I asked the difference between the iPad mini & iPad mini w/ retina display. The Apple Store sells my favorite piece of machinery: the laptop I'm typing this review on, my Macbook Pro. So, obviously, I can't give a bad review, even if I can't stand how obnoxiously packed this store is at all times. I've made innumerable trips to this location over the years: to purchase my old Macbook, to buy an iMac, for my beaut pro that I've been using since 2011, and, of course (ahem...today), for new power cords after I somehow bend and twist mine so much that the wires pop out and zap me. I've been pretty lucky so far with this mac and haven't had to use the Genius Bar all too often, but I did use their services all of the time with my first laptop, and they were always really helpful. Staff here is nice, too, and you can expect that someone will be there to help you soon, even if it is a mob scene in there. read more

If you are there to make a purchase they are willing to help you. If they know you have an issue and need help then good luck getting anyone to help you! Walked into the store to get my brand new iPhone 12 Pro screen fixed. Place was packed and and nobody wanted to help me. They were all too busy selling MacBooks. Found out I needed an appointment, which I did not have, and they would not help me without one. In disgust I started checking online for Best Place to fix iPhone near Cherry Hill NJ and Steve's iPhone Repair popped up and had Excellent reviews on Yelp so I decided to give them a try. They fixed my iphone screen in 15minutes and it looks like new again and works 100% flawless. Steves iphone repairs saved my broken iphone and I am grateful. horrible. noisy. no one stays with you, they constantly drift off, so you have to have the same conversation over and over. so noisy. classes are held right there, basically in the store, and you are expected to talk and hear over the noise. they really don't seem to care. I don't know why the managers do not stay with the new workers to make things of work out. I feel like I am training the workers. the managers just seem to want to flit here and there. it is chaos. it's incredibly noisy, you can't concentrate. they don't seem to care about the customer. read more

Apple Store actually didn't have the screw and grudgingly ordered screw. Apple Store doesn't answer phone or hangs up when inquiring about service. Apple Store took 3 weeks to get screw in. Lord help you if you wander in without an appointment. The first thing you will notice is that while there are 30+ employees on the floor, NO ONE NOTICES YOU. I wandered to the front of the store and finally pinned one of the red shirts against the wall to inquire about service. "Aquinos will help you." I was told. What the hell is an aquinos? Siris big brother? One of the four screens sitting at the front of the store? Is it an application on one of the random machines around the store? As I went to ask for further clarification, the employee had sped away, leaving me to wander about for a bit. Aquinos, it turns out, is not a TV or hairspray, but one lone employee with an iPad coordinating the repair part of the store. One. Lone. Employee. Thirty people can sell me anything I want to buy from anywhere in the store, but once you buy it, lotsa luck baby! There was no line, no organization, just a cluge of people around Aquinos all waiting for help. As I wandered the edge of the cloud of people suddenly AttiDude appeared! One of the employees decided to finally try and organize the line, and was apparently annoyed he was the one chosen to do something other than show people how to play games on their Macs. Sadly I did not get his name. It didn't matter what his name was anyway, because only Aquinos could help us. Long Live Aquinos! When I finally was allowed into the presence of the great Aquinos, he inquired about my problem. I held up my phone, which was rebooting on a regular basis. He acknowledged that this was definitely a problem and told me there would be a three hour wait to see a weenius, or I could make an appointment to come back another day. The next available appointment was two days from now. I took the appointment and wandered out, not a single employee making eye contact the entire time. I returned at the appointed time assigned to me by the great and powerful Aquinos. The store was fairly empty due to snow and I now knew I needed to head to the person holding the tablet of power (not Aquinos today). The pleasant keeper of the tablet checked me in and told me to have a seat and a weenius would be with me shortly. I waited about 10 minutes for the weenius to appear, who took one look at my phone and advised me it would need to be reset. Drat. Wait, I waited two days for you a$$hats to tell me to reset my phone? The great and powerful Aquinos couldn't have told me that two days ago?!? I think after this experience I am done with apple. Time to give android phones a try. read more

I had an extremely positive experience at the Apple Store in the Cherry Hill Mall yesterday. My nightmarish day began when I realized my laptop wasn't charging, even though it had done so just fine the day before. I had two hours of juice before my screen went black. This, just as I received news that my car needed about two grand worth of work... but that's another story for some other time. Frustrated, angsty, and a little worried that it was my laptop acting up and not my charger, I took everything in to Apple and grabbed the first employee I saw. In less than 60 seconds we realized my charger was faulty, and about two minutes later, it was exchanged at no charge and no hassle and without any paperwork. My visit would have been five stars had I not stopped by the iPhone cover section, where an employee came over to assist with my questions. He wasn't super helpful and didn't really add anything to the conversation that I didn't conclude by looking at the packaging myself. So minus one star for that. read more

I don't really know how to feel about my experience at this Apple Store yesterday. I made an appt. because I know every Apple Store is always packed to the brims and I didn't want to spend all day there. Long story short, I have an "older", barely used, like new, MacBook Pro that I purchased in 2010 which now needed a new battery. After googling, I discovered the cost to replace the battery would be around $150 or less and can be easily done. I was taken for my appt immediately which was great since I was early. My genius goes on to inform me that they no longer carry parts for "vintage" devices aka devices that are 5 years or older. And I understand that! HOWEVER I felt as though everything after that was an upsell to get me to replace the computer altogether. Mind you... This computer works perfectly fine and was only used for a year or two before sitting dormant in my closet. I asked him to humor me and tell me the trade in value for my computer which came out to a measly $81 and some change. Talk about crazy depreciation!! That's worse than a car! I'm a loyal apple user. I have only owned iPhones for the past 5+ years, I have a new iPad Air, I've owned iPads- they are great products.... Hence why I don't feel the need to replace my fully functioning MacBook because it "MAY" cost me more in upkeep repairs over the next year. Disappointed. I'll just take it to a third party repair shop and see how long I can run this MacBook into the ground. read more

I went into the store today and within 15 minutes , I was back out the door. Their associate Dom was a wonderful young man who showed me so much patience. He addressed my concerns and assured me there was nothing to worry about. While the computer was fixing my issues, he was extremely nice and engaged in pleasant conversation. Walked into apple store today 5/20/2014; made a appointment for 5:40pm. Was late for My appointment therefore I was told to make another appointment for 6:30pm. Ironically they did not assist me till 7:10pm. PJ Bielavitz was my rep and he was horrible. A rep Doug noticed the problems and confirmed the issues I was experiencing were true. However I had to argue with PJ just get him to understand my problems. Customer service at cherry hill Apple Store Was Horrible. The Apple Store in the Cherry Hill Mall isn't much different than any other mall based Apple Store. The same cookie cutter design as all Apple Stores and loads of support staff running around and helping customers. I've been fairly satisfied with the knowledge of the staff, although I rarely have questions for them. In addition, any technician work I've needed done has been performed on time. Word to the wise, this place is packed almost all of the time. Your best bet is to go early in the morning or right before closing to avoid the crowds. If you are somewhat familiar with Apple products you might as well just order your item online and save on the gas all together. If by chance you have a very big purchase, it might even be justifiable to drive down to the Apple Store in Delaware and avoid the sales tax all together! read more
