Really helpful staff who will help get things to car if needed, so although inside to pay might be too tight of a space if wheelchair, I think they'd figure out how to make it work. The corn and tomatoes I can attest to quality, this time adding a cantaloupe to what I purchased!

They have lots of beautiful mums , pumpkins, gourds, and wood pumpkins to buy. Watermelons, plums, apples, yams, corn, cantaloupe they had it and more! Inside they have a ton of jams and jellys, pickled vegetables, flower bouquets. The employees were friendly and helpful and it was a nice place to buy some local items.

But to find it, I had to do a bit of looking and on the way to the airport , made my driver, Nathan, stop so that i could buy some (along with beans). They have many other items, some of them local, from the pumpkins (can't carry those in a suitcase alas) to sweet pepers and a lot of other tasty delights which are NOT made locally. they are only open until Oct 31, so plan on getting there before Halloween. I had the chance to accompany a friend to Spencer Farm for a relatively brief visit. While it was pretty brief, I was impressed. Spencer Farm was started by, you guessed it, the Spencers - Lori and Kyle. It started out as Spencer's U-Pick in 1982. They started out with strawberries. By 1986, they moved to a new farm on Cherry Tree Road. They expanded to include red raspberries, black raspberries, blueberries, and chrysanthemums. They've added pumpkins, asparagus, grapes, Christmas trees, and their son founded a winery that now also sits on the farm grounds. Spencer's now does pre-picked, you-pick, and wholesale fruit. In 2008, they further expanded the farm with a variety of Indiana products including ice cream, fudge, pies, jams, jellies, etc. As you can tell, I immediately wanted to see their sunflower field. I love, love, love sunflowers. One of the reasons I'm not particularly a farm dude is because farms are seldom very accessible. While Spencer's isn't perfect, there's a STRONG effort here to be accessible. I was honestly surprised and impressed. You could send me to the gift shop, and I could be a very happy camper. I will note that they have a strong photography policy. It's on their website, but if you're taking professional equipment I'd read the policies first as there are requirements. There's an awful lot to love here. The people are friendly. The farm is well laid out and surprisingly accessible (the fields obviously have some issues - they're fields). There's accessible parking close to the entrance. This would be a great place for families. Children should definitely enjoy it. There's a strong element of faith here, and that's radiated in the beauty of the surroundings and the service.

Thank goodness for this grocery store, is all I'm saying! Whew. I found my little emotional-support beverage of choice (strawberry passion fruit Celsius) posted up here on the refrigerated wall, and I also grabbed a single banana from the produce section. These two things were just what I needed and helped me get on with my day. A Fresh Thyme is a Fresh Thyme is a Fresh Thyme. If you've been to one Fresh Thyme, then you've been to this one in Fishers. They're all blissfully the same. You can find bulk nuts and supplements and fancy chips and interesting food items around every corner. I love Fresh Thyme because they have a lot of the things I'm looking for but can't find elsewhere. They are very good at stocking the fancy items and the things that are hard to find. I was able to get in and out of this grocery store very quickly, thanks to the self-check-out lanes that are available. But there are also real, live people at the checkout lanes to help, as well.

An entrance and separate exit had been set up. The hanging baskets were affordable and gorgeous but I had already purchased my baskets. The annuals and perennials selection was limited but healthy and a nice variety. Once I went inside the stand I found prebagged greenbeans, tomatoes and new potatoes I had to take home with me. They were fresh and made for a nice summer meal. If you're in the area stop by and checkout the selection. It's a short drive from Plainfield on US 40.

The sunflower field is smaller but they have a specific section just for taking photos. Watch out for the bees - they love sunflowers too :) We also noticed that they had food trucks available during the summer sunflower field weekends as well. They have a small farmers market with a gift shop, produce, and lots of goodies. In the Fall, they have mums, pumpkins, and gourds available.

At the front of the store, when you enter by the produce, there are always fresh items on sale. If you sign up in their app for your phone, you can clip coupons and get even better deals. Many times the produce at the front of the store is cheaper than you can find at Meijer or Kroger. Right now, they have Florida strawberries for $1.50 with a clipped coupon, asparagus for $2.50 a pound, and cherry tomatoes for $1.50 a container. All of these prices beat Meijer.... I know, because I was just there! What I also like about Harvest Market is there are plenty of employees walking around the store and restocking items. It is always very easy to find someone to answer a question. This is unlike some grocery stores where you have to go to Customer Service to get any help and then wait in a line to reach the counter. Don't forget Harvest Market for your grocery needs!
