Putting your trust in someone to service your beauty needs can be nerve-wracking. That's why I'm so…read moreglad I found Priya's business. Priya (the owner) and her staff do a wonderful job with their clients. Her beauty bar has it all - threading, waxing, facials, makeup, eyelash extensions, microblading, and even cosmetic injectables. Prices are fair and even lower than some other aesthetic businesses in the area. I've been coming here for over 4 years. I've done waxing, eyebrow threading, facials, and makeup services. I'm always satisfied with their work. The staff has years of experience and knowledge in their craft. They have great attention to detail and an aesthetic eye. They customize a look that makes you feel beautiful in your own skin. Never in a rush - they take their time to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable experience. The ladies are very personable and sweet. It's no surprise they retain regular and loyal clients for years. Whenever I need to get glammed up for an occasion, Priya is my girl!!! She's done my makeup several times and I'm always happy with the results. I get so excited to sit in her makeup chair because she makes me feel and look like a ~*princess*~. Bring her a reference photo of the look you want, and she'll nail it! A full glam look costs $120. It's my favorite service here. The salon is very clean. It's not a huge space, but they do a lot with what they have. Metered street parking only as it's located on a main street. You can come as a walk-in for eyebrow threading and some services, but I recommend making an appointment online or calling because they can get very busy. I love it hereeeeeeee!

So the staff are very polite! But this is one of the places where they're really a threading place…read morenot a waxing place: She used hard wax which I actually prefer, but it wasn't working. In the photos you'll see how my face is red from the wax, but it didn't get most of the hair. There's so much hair left. She did point out to me that some hair is left, but I didn't realize it was so much. And it left weird bumps on my skin. She said the wax may have been too hot (it seemed fine to me) i think the kind of wax was wrong for the face. Again, staff is very kind and polite. But I didn't get my moneys worth of removing the hair.

I was left with dozens and dozens of huge bumps which resembled like bad bee stings all over my cheeks and chin. I look deformed. When I confronted Dr Hong and the staff he just said he made a mistake with the procedure and brushed off. After nearly 7 months I still have bad wart like bumps with bad discoloration. Needlessly said I look much much worse now than before with bad permanent skin condition. Dr Hong is an internist not a dermatologist. He and the nurses who perform some of the procedures appear not too qualified and knowledgeable. They should study more about some of the procedures and less of money making. There should be restrictive laws and prohibit some careless practices done by money hungry doctors and nurses.

Came here to get a private Korean scrub. It's a really nice option to be able to come here…read morespecifically for a scrub and be in and out vs needing to go to an entire spa. The owner speaks English very well. I was in the sauna for a few minutes then moved to a steam room for a little longer and then came time for my scrub. It was efficient and I truly appreciate all the efforts having to remove years of dead skin off my body. Having someone scrub and towel dry me feels like a luxury that I should only experience every once in a while, but when that time comes again I absolutely plan to come back here.

I have had a body scrub and a handful of massages, all of which were great experiences. Both Julie and Michelle are excellent at what they do. Jasmine at the front desk is personable and attentive. Jasmine greets me and ushers me to the locker room, where I change into a robe and store my belongings. Then off to the massage room with the lovely Michelle, who does miracles on my body. In all the years I have received massages, I have never had anyone be as accommodating as Michelle is with me. Besides her soothing and caring demeanor, she is strong and knowledgeable. We have great conversations, the times I don't fall asleep. One of the things she does that I greatly appreciate is that she changes the face pillow to a thicker cushion, so I am comfortable lying on my chest. It makes me feel special cause it's not easy lying on my stomach as a big-chested woman. After the massage, there is always the option to use the dry sauna. Offer that I happily take if I have the time. Cozy vibes all over, and everything is tidy and clean. I swear I levitate out of here each time. The place is never packed. At most, I've seen two other people while I've visited, which is why they are strict about people being on time. I find the prices reasonable for their services and have never been told what to tip. People, please tip!

I absolutely love my haircut and perm! You did such a wonderful job, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. STAY AWAY! This place has completely scorched my hair…read more As someone who has periodically bleached & dyed their hair for the past 30 years I'm very well aware of the dangers. I had mentioned all of my worries beforehand and insisted they did not use a high developer that may damage my hair. They had reassured me that they are professionals and if any, there may be some breakage. After the bleach was washed off, the stylist did not take me back to the chair to see the outcome but instead insisted he do the toner at the hair sink. After 2-10 min alarms went off, and the shampoo girl washed my hair, he came to see his work and then I hear him slightly gasped. He then proceeded to tell me that it was the shampooist's fault the color did not come out and said he would need to re-do the toner. When i got back to the seat i was horrified to see how white the bleach had made my hair. I asked what developer he used that my hair could be stripped so much in 1 session. He said he used a 20 volume but I've never seen any 20 developer strip that strong. Then he said it was a product he created. While they tried to dry my hair i saw that handfuls of hair just falling off. I pointed it out to him and started freaking out, telling him he had melted my hair. He started to come up with excuses saying it's not burnt and that once the color goes in it'll be healther and that it was a ph balance miscalculation on his part. He tgen asked for me to trust him and see the final outcome. Then he proceeded to put in the toner on the already chemically damaged hair saying he knows what he's doing and to give him a chance and i would like the final outcome. Stupid me gave him the chance. And NOPE!! The color was not at all what a wanted and wasn't even. It was botched and he then finally apologized. I mean he was a nice guy.. just wasn't a color professional as he claimed on the phone when i originally made the appointment He had said he was the best colorist there. So before he could even finish drying my hair i decided to leave because i knew the heat from drying my hair would make it worse. Once i got home my hair started to break off 1.5 inches from my scalp and it had filled up a gallon size ziploc. I quickly washed my hair to try to remove any remaining chemicals in my hair. I did not blow dry my hair and the next morning once my hair was dry it felt like a barbie doll. That's bad. The owner/head stylist decided to call me the next day to "find out" what happened and said she was away and she was going to call me the next day to set something up. That next day is today and she hadn't called so I called the salon and guess what.. they didn't pick up. I waited 10 minutes to see if they would call back but they didn't, so I called them with a different number and voila.. someone answers. How could they call themselves professionals? Trust me and stay away. Btw. they had also quoted me $200-$250 and then proceeded to charge me $400 for this botched work.
