I had always heard good things about this restaurant, but it took me some months to finally try it. Since they focus in live music presentations, it was hard to go there having a newborn at home. When my mother came to the Philippines, I asked her to stay with the baby and finally checked the famous Aposento. Parent's night out! Yay!
The bands play there every wednesday and friday. The place gets really transformed. The decorated walls become a backdrop for the bands, it looks like a stage :) The restaurant is very spacious (2 floors) and accommodate well people who wants to check the music.
If you go there during the day, it's a nice place to have lunch, though there's no music. There's a TV where you can watch something to distract yourself. When I had lunch there, they were exhibiting a MMA fight. Not that nice. If only it was Manny Pacquiao! :P
They serve not only filipino food. There's also sandwiches, pasta, dim sum and sushi/sashimi. I suggest the category called "Healthy Options". I've tried the tilapia in coconut milk and it was very tasty.
HIGHLIGHT: live band nights every wednesday and friday starting 8:30pm. read more
